This is the plain truth.
Currently, there are only five parties in the market with Aether Group shares.
Brandon Huxley, Eric Grant, the mysterious angel investor (Brandon’s associate), Serena Sterling, and Jasper Ford.
Brandon, Eric, and the mysterious investor have all said they won’t sell.
Jasper Ford would give them to the Ford Family internally. They wish to establish their presence in this area, and there’s absolutely no way they’d release them.
So now, the only shares that can be traded and are intended to be traded are those held by Serena.
Desmond Wyatt looked at Silas Hawthorne’s deanor and grew even angrier.
It’s completely as if he’s watching a spectacle!
"Director Wyatt, please think carefully," Serena began, "Even if I wanted to trade the Aether shares I hold, once released, existing shareholders still have priority rights."
"Thus, this transaction of mine signifies that I must first resolve issues with other shareholders before transacting with the Hawthorne Group."
Priority rights are sothing that cos into play during such critical monts.
"This is utter nonsense!" Desmond Wyatt grew angrier, "Who doesn’t know that no one would buy them!"
"Who says that?" Serena smiled, "Many people want to buy them."
Not to ntion anything else, Jasper Ford isn’t investing as an individual nor using Ford Entertainnt.
It’s the Ford Family’s.
What Serena has, the Ford Family could easily swallow up.
And Ford Entertainnt has priority rights.
Which ans Serena and Jasper had discussed and given Brandon and Eric a heads up beforehand to enable such an operation.
"Director Wyatt, I’ve indeed co to the Hawthorne Group in sincerity today," Serena earnestly stated, simultaneously nodding to others present.
As soon as Serena releases the news that she wants to sell the shares she holds in Aether and can resolve other issues, countless people would scramble to buy them, vying to et her, and even offer better and more favorable conditions.
Her visit to the Hawthorne Group is indeed in sincerity.
"I’m not short on money at the mont," Serena said, "The only thing I want is shares in the Hawthorne Group."
Saying this, she once again politely gestured to everyone present, "I hope everyone considers it carefully."
With shares in the Hawthorne Group, everything becos negotiable.
"Only Hawthorne Group shares? Not considering anything else?" asked the man with a full beard beside her.
Serena nodded firmly, "Yes, only Hawthorne Group shares."
"Bang!"
Desmond Wyatt slamd a fist down on the table furiously.
"Who do you think you are! Daring to ask for shares in the Hawthorne Group!" Desmond Wyatt shouted in anger.
Silas Hawthorne’s expression soured, but Serena pressed his hand under the table to prevent him from reacting.
"I’m Serena Sterling," Serena began, "Owner of Aeon, the one holding the shares of Aether Group that you want."
"I’m not forcing a sale here," Serena calmly said, "If you’re unwilling, you don’t have to buy them. Holding onto the Aether shares poses no issue for ."
What she said made it hard for Desmond Wyatt to get a word in.
The reality is just as Serena described.
Serena’s nad the price; whether or not to buy is a choice for them.
Ultimately, the transaction is an affair of mutual consent between the parties.
If they can’t afford the deal, they should know when to back off.
But Desmond Wyatt wants to acquire the Aether shares without paying the price, so all he can do now is throw a tantrum.
Due to his decision-making blunders, he’s already under significant pressure within the group.
"You were the ones who persuaded us to pressure Silas Hawthorne initially. Director Wyatt, now you owe us an explanation."
This is the collective sentint among them.
He must manage this well, or else his reputation within the Hawthorne Group will decline.
Also, their previous plan to undercut Silas Hawthorne will go up in smoke.
Thinking about it, Desmond Wyatt felt his head ache.
The Hawthorne Group has been borne by Silas Hawthorne all these years; if it weren’t for Silas obtaining things over the seas back then, the group would’ve fallen from grace long ago.
After returning, Silas didn’t carry out a clean sweep, so they’ve been comfortably cruising along like frogs in warming water for many years, only occasionally throwing Silas so challenges to assert their presence.
Thus, brains that haven’t been exercised for years are now hard to move.
Only status, seniority, and old age have remained.
"Director Wyatt?" Serena prompted as Desmond Wyatt remained silent for a while, "Have you made a decision?"
Raine further added fuel to the fire at this mont.
"Mr. Sheridan, the eting ti with the Quentin Family is approaching."
"Quentin Family? Which Quentin Family?" Soone in the crowd asked imdiately.
"Serena, who else have you promised a transaction?"
The others grew anxious.
Now that the at is right in front, if others snatch it away, wouldn’t that be a case of the cooked duck flying away?
Moreover, Serena is Silas Hawthorne’s fiancée; if Aether shares go to others, where would their reputation stand!
But Serena didn’t speak; after all, whoever she ets to discuss what matters are confidential.
Seeing Serena maintain her silence, the others grew even more anxious.
"Director Wyatt!"
"Director Wyatt, say sothing!"
"Director Wyatt, it’s ti to make a decision!"
...
Desmond Wyatt, pressured by the urging voices, blurted out, "Silas Hawthorne, split so of your shares with her!"
With these words, silence fell over the eting room for three seconds.
Silas Hawthorne adjusted his posture.
Facing the furious Desmond Wyatt, he smiled and asked, "Desmond Wyatt, have you figured it out? Are you aware of what you said?"
Desmond Wyatt was under trendous pressure.
However, at this point, the words had already been spoken; he had no choice but to continue, "Silas Hawthorne, currently you hold the most shares in the Hawthorne Group. Exchange your shares with Serena’s."
Upon hearing this, Silas Hawthorne let out a cold laugh.
What an excellent sche.
Using Silas Hawthorne’s personal shares and exchanging them with Serena’s.
Then the Aether shares in Serena’s hands would belong to the Hawthorne Group, and after the couple marries, if there’s no separation of assets, Serena essentially brings the shares back, making it a free giving.
"Director Wyatt, my brain is still functioning," Silas Hawthorne stated, "I can still do the math on these matters."
Desmond Wyatt’s face flushed.
He also sensed the mocking tone in Silas Hawthorne’s words.
Everyone present was staring at him.
Their eyes held peculiar expressions.
Looking at him as if he were a clown.
"This was how it should be!" Desmond Wyatt protested, shad and enraged.
But no one responded.
Silas Hawthorne simply looked at him coldly.
Desmond Wyatt felt even more humiliated.
All of this is Serena’s fault!
If Serena hadn’t monopolized the shares back in Aether, they wouldn’t face today’s situation.
He wouldn’t be subjected to the mockery of everyone present.
So, Desmond Wyatt directed all his bla toward Serena.
"Serena, do you know you weren’t originally allowed to marry into the Hawthorne Family!"
"I permitted it because I sympathized with you as a young woman finding it tough!"
Upon hearing this, Serena laughed.
She glanced at Silas Hawthorne, saying, "Is that true?"
"No, don’t listen to their nonsense," Silas Hawthorne replied, sneering, "Who I, Silas Hawthorne, want to marry is none of your business, Desmond Wyatt!"
He continued, "Since when has my marriage needed your permission?"
"Silas Hawthorne!" Desmond Wyatt grew angrier.
"Fine, have you all tead up, deliberately!" Desmond Wyatt pointed at Serena and then at Silas Hawthorne, his voice echoing throughout the eting room.
"To eliminate dissent!"
"To humiliate !"
