anwhile, Serena Sterling was treating Bianca Lynch to a spa day at the beauty salon.

It was the sa salon that Clara Huxley had taken Serena to last ti.

She didn’t care at all what Isla Lawson thought.

Inviting Bianca over this ti was mainly to thank her for investigating the Eric Grant matter for her.

They had changed clothes and were sitting in the lobby. Serena said to Bianca, "Now that Eric Grant’s mother’s issue is resolved, handling Aether’s matter will be much easier. Bianca, thank you."

Bianca happily sipped her tea, laughing, "Haha, you don’t need to thank , you know I didn’t leave empty-handed. Serena, I’ve been here all year, and it’s all billed to you!"

Serena laughed, "Alright!"

"How have things been between you and Justin Jennings lately?" Serena asked.

"Sa as always, I..." Bianca replied.

The two of them chatted sporadically back and forth.

Just then, the salon doors opened, and two people walked in.

As soon as they entered, soone imdiately went to greet them, causing quite a commotion.

The person seed to be of significant status, as even the salon manager personally went to welco them.

Serena and Bianca noticed the commotion and looked over.

But as soon as they looked up, they saw another person.

It was Isla Lawson, accompanied by another woman.

Upon entering, Isla spotted Serena.

Instantly, Isla’s expression beca playful.

Isla had been tense for a while, and only recently felt a little relief by putting pressure on Serena, so she imdiately invited the friend who temporarily loaned her so funds to the salon.

Standing beside Isla was her friend, Quinn.

"Quinn, I was wondering why there was a strange sll here today, now I know," Isla said with a sarcastic tone.

Bianca couldn’t possibly miss Isla’s mockery and was about to stand up.

Serena firmly grasped Bianca and shook her head, signaling Bianca not to act impulsively.

Seeing Serena and Bianca’s reaction, Isla imdiately smiled.

"Yes, don’t move." Isla’s face was full of smugness, her eyes fixed on Serena, "Things aren’t going well for you, keep losing money, people should retreat at their lowest."

"Isla, keep your mouth clean!" Bianca imdiately countered.

Isla shrugged indifferently, then turned to her friend and said, "Wow, why do I sense a strong gloomy aura around here?"

Her friend blinked, imdiately understanding, and said with a smile, "No idea, didn’t see it outside just now."

Isla chuckled, speaking to the manager who followed them, "What’s going on? You don’t screen the guests? I feel the feng shui here is off, it’s bad luck."

The manager glanced at Serena and then Isla, montarily unsure what to say, wiping sweat nervously with a smile.

Serena didn’t want to deal with Isla, intending to leave with Bianca.

But Isla swiftly blocked Serena’s path.

"What? Leaving after just a few words?" Isla sneered, "Can’t take even a bit of this?"

Serena turned around, keeping her distance from Isla.

She shielded Bianca behind her, facing Isla.

"Isla, don’t be so self-righteous with your words," Serena said, "I harbored no grudge against you, there’s no need for many things you’ve done."

Hearing this, Isla laughed even more.

"Talking as if you’re so innocent!" Isla recalled recent events, filled with resentnt.

But rembering Serena’s current predicant improved her mood.

Isla stepped closer to Serena, smiling as she said, "So, have you admitted defeat?"

Serena looked at Isla with ambiguous intentions in her eyes.

"Isla, sotis people need to give themselves a chance, don’t corner yourself," Serena said softly.

"Still stubborn?" Isla laughed, glancing at Bianca before turning to Serena again, "Still have money to beautify yourself, cherish this ti, soon you might not have the funds."

Then turning to Bianca, "You too."

After speaking, Isla laughed freely.

Serena remained silent, standing calmly.

"Yes, silence is best." Isla said, "Serena, next ti we speak, you’ll be begging , co on Quinn, let’s go."

With that, Isla led her friend further inside.

Her friend joined, glancing mockingly at Serena as they entered.

The manager nodded to Serena, then followed them inside.

The corridor echoed with Isla’s joyful laughter.

Bianca and Serena stood there.

"Why didn’t you let hit back at her a bit? She annoys !" Bianca said angrily.

Serena watched Isla walk away, saying, "No need to bother with her."

Then her gaze shifted to Bianca, saying, "She’s already blinded by emotion, lost reason, unable to judge reasonably."

Bianca didn’t understand Serena’s words.

Serena smiled, "Forget it, let’s go back and soak in our pool, don’t wrinkle from anger."

Bianca imdiately covered her face.

Serena laughed, poking Bianca’s forehead.

They playfully headed inside.

Just before entering, Serena glanced back at Isla’s direction.

...

The next day, Isla continued to relish her smugness.

"We will definitely provide a perfect resolution for this incident."
