Julian Lawson touched the send button.

Unlike before when ssages disappeared into the void, this ti there was an imdiate change.

However, what changed was that a large red exclamation mark appeared behind his ssage.

Julian stared blankly at this red exclamation mark.

She refused to receive his ssage.

Didn’t that an she had blocked him?

Julian could hardly believe it.

Even when they had separated before, he could still send ssages in her chat window.

He thought, as long as he held onto the Sheridan Family’s belongings, she would always have so concerns.

As long as he controlled the Sheridan Family’s belongings, she would ultimately have to contact him.

But now...

When did she block him?

He had no idea.

Julian reached out to open the car door, wanting to go upstairs to find her.

But the mont he opened it, he paused.

Not far away stood soone from the Hawthorne Family, and when the person noticed his gaze, they smiled and nodded at him.

...

The rooftop garden.

Silas Hawthorne finally let go of Serena Sterling.

His forehead rested against hers, his Adam’s apple moving up and down. He forcibly suppressed so ssy thoughts, lightly bit her lower lip, and smiled at her.

Serena felt a bit embarrassed and glared at him.

"Seraphina is still here..." she said.

"I didn’t see anything," Seraphina’s voice ca, "I’m playing with Tangerine!"

Serena felt even more embarrassed, punched Silas lightly, telling him to let her go.

Silas didn’t hold her back anymore and released her.

Serena imdiately ran over to the swing bench where Seraphina was sitting.

Seraphina hugged the big tangerine cat, feeding it freeze-dried treats.

Her little legs couldn’t reach the ground, so she was just sitting there. When she saw Serena coming, Seraphina imdiately said, "Aunt Winters, push the swing!"

Serena nodded, lightly pushed with her foot, and the swing started to move.

Once the swing started to move, the big tangerine snuggled into Serena’s arms, then realizing there was no danger, it poked its head out to eat the freeze-dried treats from Seraphina’s hand, making Seraphina giggle.

Serena also found it amusing.

"Greedy Tangerine," Serena laughed.

Seraphina nodded along, saying yes, yes.

Serena rembered the pendant on her bag, wanting to give it to Seraphina, but then thought Seraphina might not know what it was.

Just as she was thinking, a large hand appeared before her eyes, with a small cat figurine in the palm.

"Here," Silas handed it to Seraphina.

Seraphina received it, her eyes sparkling.

"Wow, it’s Tangerine!" Seraphina took it and compared it with the greedy cat beside her.

"I just got it from the company, thought Seraphina would like it," Silas added.

Serena nodded, pushing the swing, watching Seraphina grow more fond of it.

Silas just stood nearby watching them on the swing; at this mont, he felt like his heart was full, a very happy feeling.

Silas reached out to steady the swing, gently pushing, and said to Seraphina, "The docunts have been approved, in about a week the papers will be ready. Seraphina, would you like to move in with and Aunt Winters?"

"There’s koi in the pond at my place, and Mimi at the house, and with a driver, nanny, and family doctor, it will be more convenient for Aunt Winters and to take care of you."

Seraphina imdiately wanted to agree but subconsciously glanced at Serena beside her.

Serena nodded.

Seraphina bead with a smile, showing tiny teeth.

"Sure." Seraphina said, pointing to the big tangerine beside her, "Can I bring Tangerine to play with Mimi?"

Silas smiled and nodded, reaching out to pat the big tangerine.

Serena watched the interaction between Seraphina and Silas, her heart felt warm.

She liked this feeling.

Simple happiness.

The feeling of ho.

The fireworks continued to bloom, lasting a long ti.

This drone firework show was destined to be discussed by many.

Everyone speculated about what these fireworks ant.

Later it was revealed that the Hawthorne Family orchestrated it, expertly pinpointed to Silas Hawthorne.

Combined with Silas Hawthorne’s successful engagent request, everyone instantly understood.

"The eldest wants to overshadow Julian Lawson haha, Julian Lawson had a wedding show back then, so he has to host an even bigger one!"

"Interesting, interesting, love watching, can’t wait for them to compete more, I want more fireworks, send so coupons, maybe even so cash!"

"Haha, the person upstairs seems to have drunk too much milk tea during the delivery battle."

"I’m not concerned about what the two of them are doing; I’m curious why Vera Hansen hasn’t responded yet!"

"Yeah, it’s pretty much confird that Vera Hansen went to Serena’s previous house without permission for a live stream and even broadcasted the villa’s privacy. Why is she hiding like a tortoise! Wasn’t she lively online before?"

...

Online, there was much discussion, with so encouraging Silas and Julian to emulate the delivery battle by issuing coupons, and others urging Vera Hansen to give a statent and apology.

Voices were nurous and varied.

And in such circumstances, the fireworks finally ended.

The drones flew away, and Silas drove Serena and Seraphina ho.

After getting out of the car, Seraphina took Serena to a corner.

Silas was considerate and pretended to have sothing to sort inside the car without coming out.

Seraphina took Serena’s hand and led her under a small tree.

"Aunt Winters, is Uncle Mortir your boyfriend now?" Seraphina asked.

Serena squatted down to level with Seraphina, nodded, "Yes."

"Will you marry him in the future?" Seraphina blinked and continued to ask.

Serena held Seraphina’s face and smiled, "I don’t know yet, but I have agreed to his engagent request, so he should be considered my fiancé now."

Seraphina’s small head didn’t quite understand.

"It ans if things go well, we will get married," Serena explained.

Seraphina finally understood, she nodded and then smiled, suddenly throwing herself into Serena’s arms.

Serena didn’t imdiately understand Seraphina’s action.

Seraphina spread her arms around Serena, looking up from her embrace.

Serena saw Seraphina’s adorable expression and rembered her words.

They both encountered people who abandoned them.

Back then, Seraphina said her biological parents abandoned her, but she was fortunate to et Serena, so Serena leaving Julian Lawson would also lead to eting soone better.

"Aunt Winters, we will all be happy," Seraphina said joyously.

Serena smiled, hugged Seraphina, and said, "Yes, we will all be happy."

...

Serena was very happy.

There were many happy things: the success of new products, letting go of the past, deeper ties with Silas, and Seraphina’s paperwork nearing completion.

Everything was moving in a positive direction.

A night of good dreams.

The next day, as soon as Serena got up, she received a call.

"Serena, co to The Lawson Corporation," it was Caleb Lawson’s voice, "So things in the agreent, I think we need to discuss and modify."

"Julian and Vera are already here."

Serena’s heart tightened.

Caleb Lawson had treated her well before because she used to be the Lawson Family daughter-in-law.

But now she had publicly accepted Silas Hawthorne’s engagent request, would everything change?
