The music and dancing continued in the private room, yet Julian Lawson still stood there.

His eyes were bloodshot, staring intently at the tightly closed private room door.

The cleaner, delighted with the tip, had just finished sweeping up the shards and was now mopping the floor.

"Please, lift your feet," the cleaner said.

"The room I reserved is right next door." Ian Yates, seeing Julian Lawson was angry, said from the side, "I don’t think they’ll co out anyti soon, let’s wait next door."

Only then did Julian Lawson retract his gaze and walked into the neighboring private room with Ian Yates.

After they left, the cleaner humd a song, mopped the floor clean, patted the tips in his pocket, and left happily.

In Serena’s private room, Bianca Lynch was still cursing.

She took out her phone and brought up the gossip about Julian Lawson having a candlelight dinner with Vera Hansen.

Bianca Lynch pointed and remarked, "I really don’t get it, Julian Lawson is such an ass. Does he want to wait for Vera to die and then co back to Serena? He wants it all, it’s disgusting!"

The people nearby also expressed their disapproval, supporting Serena.

Serena felt a warmth in her heart.

Even though she had been hurt by love before, she still had many good friends.

That’s enough.

"Ignore them, we’re here to celebrate tonight. Let’s have fun and not let them spoil it," Serena said, raising her glass.

The young guys started to liven things up, making the whole room very lively.

Yet, while so were cheerful, others were miserable.

In Serena’s room, things were lively, but in Julian Lawson’s room, he was downing drink after drink.

He wasn’t just drinking; he was guzzling.

Ian Yates shook his head in resignation.

"Take it easy, buddy," Ian Yates said as he took the drink away.

Seeing his drink gone, Julian Lawson furrowed his brows and tried to reach for it again, but Ian Yates took it away.

Ian Yates felt a headache coming on.

But he could understand; if Clara Huxley were next door twisting and drinking with a bunch of n, he’d be furious too.

Julian Lawson couldn’t reach the drink, so he leaned against the sofa, looking up at the ceiling, which the top light painted in colors.

Ian Yates shook his head, looked up so gossip on his phone, and handed it to Julian Lawson.

"Honestly, don’t bla Serena," Ian Yates said. "You had a candlelight dinner with Vera Hansen, she got mad, so she ca here to drink and dance."

"Don’t overthink it, Jasper Ford and Ethan Lynch are there, nothing will happen."

Ian Yates tried to console him, but Julian Lawson seed not to hear.

He felt a bit dizzy, losing the ability to think clearly.

Maybe it was lack of sleep or too much alcohol.

He didn’t care if Serena was mad at him because of Vera Hansen.

The only thought in his mind was to see her co out from next door.

But the party next door was still rocking, with Bianca Lynch’s heartfelt singing and Serena’s laughter faintly audible.

This made him feel uncomfortable.

...

Ever since so bystanders spotted Serena at PIH, the paparazzi received tip-offs.

They waited for a long ti and finally caught the showdown outside the private room upstairs.

However, they didn’t dare get too close, so they didn’t hear what was being said, only managed to capture the argunt from afar.

No one wanted to miss out on this juicy gossip.

So in no ti, the internet was buzzing, trending hashtags overshadowing those criticizing Irene —

...

The internet was suddenly abuzz.

"Wow, is Serena finally revealing her true self? I used to think she was tolerant, now she’s playing along too!"

"I think this is pretty good, I love watching drama hahaha!"

"Fight, co on, fight!"

"Spectators are fearless, whether it’s Vera Hansen or Serena, I just want to see so fun!"

"I don’t think any of them are good people, but I still support Vera Hansen more, at least she’s doing positive things, speaking out for the sick."

...

Vera Hansen was furious when she saw these ssages, she smashed the glass in her hand.

She should’ve gone to PIH with Julian Lawson earlier, Serena must be waiting after spotting Ian Yates there!

Damn Serena!

She thought Serena gave up, didn’t expect her to be waiting there!

Vera Hansen’s eyes were filled with resentnt.

She wanted to call soone, but held back.

Instead, she switched phones and called another ssage channel.

Not long after, soone picked up the call.

"What’s up?" the other side asked.

"Did you find anything about what I asked you earlier? Did that person survive?" Vera Hansen deliberately changed her tone to a raspy one.

"Are you talking about the person hit on the outskirts?" The sound of clicking was heard, as if looking sothing up.

"Yes," Vera Hansen rasped.

"Let see..." the other side clicked a few more tis, then replied, "The person didn’t die, was resuscitated, but is basically in a vegetative state. There’s a chance of waking up, but the probability is low."

"Got it," Vera Hansen lowered her voice, then hung up the phone.

She turned off the phone, exhaling slightly.

...

anwhile, at Hawthorne Manor.

Silas Hawthorne was scratching a kitten’s chin while looking at reports.

Beside him, Orion Hawthorne, mad after eight consecutive losses playing gas, was very agitated.

"Ah, lost again, stupid ga and stupid teammates!" Orion threw his phone aside, picked up another phone, and slumped on the sofa watching videos.

But after watching a few, he suddenly started coughing.

"Cough cough cough, cough... Brother!"

Thud thud thud, Orion ran over to his brother holding the phone.

"Brother, look!"

Orion showed Silas the phone, displaying the gossip.

And said, "Serena is aweso! Hahaha, looks like Julian Lawson is about to explode!"

But rembering sothing, Orion quickly covered his mouth.

"Sorry, brother, I forgot you just had a failed proposal this morning."

Silas rely glanced at the gossip, pushed his gold-rimd glasses, and smiled indifferently.

"Aren’t you angry, brother?" Orion peeked at his brother.

Silas continued looking at the report: "She just got divorced, it’s ti to celebrate."

"Oh," Orion responded, not disturbing Silas, and continued watching his videos.

He was increasingly impressed by Serena, beautiful and capable, even managed to captivate his brother — truly incredible!

Silas had long been accustod to his brother’s dramatic personality.

When Orion went to the fridge to find sothing to eat, Silas looked down at the little kitten.

The kitten stretched lazily and lightly tapped its paws: "ow~"

Silas chuckled and patted the kitten’s head.

...

anwhile, at PIH.

Serena, Bianca Lynch, and others were ready to leave the party.
