Tu Hongwu, Grand Marshal Tu, rose from humble beginnings, leading the Human Race from an era where they could not stand and speak since the system’s descent, to the present day.
A lifeti in the military, cultivating nearly a hundred Divine Level experts for the Human Race. Apart from Chu Tian, it can be said that all Divine Level experts are disciples of Tu Hongwu.
Always with a head full of red hair, the arrogant and unruly Marshal Tu Hongwu, now appearing in front of everyone in this manner, how could it not break people’s hearts, how could it not make people mourn?
In history, famous generals, like beauties, are not allowed to show white hair in the world.
Yet Tu Hongwu, possessing Divine Level strength and even reaching the pinnacle of High-tier God, clearly having a lifespan of tens of thousands of years, now ends up in such a situation.
In front of the television, whether they used to like or dislike him, people’s hearts are already filled with sorrow.
Just like the apprentice ceremony previously held by Tu Hongwu, even those who disagreed with him, or were unsatisfied with his actions, even those dissatisfied with his position, only criticized him on a moral level.
Because Tu Hongwu’s contributions to the world and the Human Race are enormous, leaving no loophole at all.
The only point worthy of criticism against him might be his excessive arrogance, or his overly aggressive nature.
Yet these were just excuses made by those displeased with Tu Hongwu’s high position; otherwise, Marshal Tu has no blemish for people to attack.
At this mont, not just the ordinary people, even those Divine Level experts who had grudges against him, seeing this scene, couldn’t help but feel desolate.
Thinking of their futures, perhaps they might retreat from the stage like Tu Hongwu.
Perhaps not even as far as Tu Hongwu...
After all, no matter how dissatisfied they were with Tu Hongwu’s actions, everyone could see what he had done.
On the screen, after Tu Hongwu barely managed a smile at the cara, he slowly opened his mouth to speak:
"Everyone, fellow mbers of the Human Race, this may be my last ti speaking with you all. I, Tu Hongwu, occupied a high position, yet achieved nothing, even leading the Human Race to this state. I am guilty of great cris, and today I am about to remove myself from the position of Grand Marshal of the Army, hoping all fellow Human Race mbers can understand~"
His voice was old and feeble, like that of a centenarian bedridden, and after speaking, he lay on the bed, gasping for breath, seeming as if he could pass away any mont.
His words were weak and powerless, even tinged with decay.
However, this only made everyone in front of their televisions even sadder.
The young had tears in their eyes, the elderly bowed their heads, turning them away to hide their tears from their younger kin.
Yet more people continued to shout furiously: "Marshal Tu’s life has been a ritorious and virtuous one, please take care of your health, Marshal Tu!"
"Marshal Tu~ why put yourself through this!"
"Marshal Tu, you were a marshal for a day, you are a marshal for a lifeti. In my lifeti, I will only acknowledge you, Marshal Tu!"
In the square, the elders exercising in front of the huge screen couldn’t help but cry bitterly upon seeing this scene.
"Marshal Tu, after you leave, who can lead our Human Race forward? Please take care of yourself, Marshal Tu!"
"Marshal Tu forever!"
"Heaven and Earth, system, I am willing to exchange my life for Marshal Tu to live one more day, even if just one hour, I am willing~"
"Marshal Tu~"
The voices echoed throughout Great Xia and even across Earth.
At this mont, everyone was calling out the na of Tu Hongwu.
All the fishes on Earth only witnessed Tu Hongwu coughing violently once more, unable to wipe away the blood at the corner of his mouth, and flushing red.
Disregarding the persuasions around him, he spoke once again, this ti more smoothly:
"In my life, I have achieved nothing for the Human Race, but the only achievent I can present is having a great apprentice.
Three-star War God Su Mo, a disciple jointly cultivated by and Chu War God.
On the western Alien Race Battlefield, Su Mo slaughtered 297 gods, exterminated 16 clans on the battlefield, slew Super God level experts, repelled the Dragon Race army; these accomplishnts fill with gratitude.
Today, with my broken body, I humbly request Human Emperor Peak to grant my disciple the title of Ten-star War God!"
As Tu Hongwu’s words fell, a massive Human Emperor Cauldron suddenly appeared in the sky, radiating countless rays of light across Earth, for all to see.
The Human Emperor Cauldron hovered above Earth, spinning continuously, pausing briefly as if noticing sothing amiss, then slowly releasing a Ten-Star War God dal.
Just as everyone awaited Su Mo to step forward and claim this Ten-Star War God dal, Tu Hongwu spoke again:
"My disciple Su Mo, the Ten-Star War God dal has been applied for by on your behalf. However, this ti I cannot personally bestow it upon you, so I hope you think of seeking life-extending dicine, but I wish more for you to return and see once again."
Before Tu Hongwu finished speaking, he coughed violently again, his face montarily red returning to normal as if experiencing a final blaze of light.
Everyone in front of the televisions paled upon witnessing this scene.
The phrase ’final blaze of light’ surfaced in their minds.
The generation’s War God, Grand Marshal Tu Hongwu, at the end of his life, hoped only to see his disciple one last ti.
But his disciple was delayed due to seeking dicine for his master’s ailnts, far from returning, how tragic this is.
Can’t even Marshal Tu’s last wish be fulfilled!
Such circumstances are neither the fault of Tu Hongwu nor the fault of Su Mo, who sincerely ventured into the vast universe seeking dicines for his master, Three-star War God, no, now Ten-star War God, Su Mo!
They only blad themselves for not being strong enough!
If only they had been a bit stronger at the ti, if only they had been more effective on the battlefield, maybe things wouldn’t be like this now.
In front of all televisions, the elderly audience banged their chests and stamped their feet, hating that it wasn’t them who were dying, but the wise and valiant Marshal Tu.
"Cough cough cough, as the old saying goes, when a person is about to die, his words are kind. Fellow mbers of the Human Race, I am thankful for the support of you old partners over the years. Now, the Human Race is thriving, and I can die without regret.
I only wish for my ashes to be scattered across every piece of Earth’s land after death, in hopes of using my final glory to protect everyone, Human Race, forever!"
Tu Hongwu’s old image thus ended, and after a mont, the screen shifted to play the story of Tu Hongwu’s life.
In his youth, he erged, barely surviving slaughter by the Alien Race, crawling out from corpses; as a young man, he joined the army, overshadowed by his peer Chu Tian; in middle age, he held high positions, while Alien incursions never ceased; in old age...
Watching the scenes on the screen, people’s eyes grew misty with sadness for Marshal Tu’s life and confusion over the Human Race’s future.
At the sa ti, due to slower signal transmission, Divine Level experts of the Human Race on various battlefields had just received news of Tu Hongwu’s imminent demise, causing an uproar.
anwhile, Su Mo was still pressing forward within the fractured Space Channel.
