Chimune, Seralsebes, the future Gasper, and Restoras suspect that lvazoa's ability has sothing to do with present manipulation. aning, he can manipulate his present self and substitute it with another self.
This suspicion ca from many factors, but the most convincing reasons were those tis when lvazoa seed to have access to information that couldn't have been drawn from anywhere, or those tis when he would just spontaneously beco "brand new" when hurt.
In addition to that, he also has access to countless unknown techniques and technologies that have no known origin.
With those factors, they hypothesized that lvazoa might have the ability to connect to his other selves that are present through countless parallel dinsions.
If they are accurate with their assessnts, they'll have no way of defeating him since no matter what they do to destroy him, it will be nullified because he'll just continuously exchange himself with his countless iterations. And if by so chance they are able to seal him, he'll just have to learn how to break it from one of the countless worlds he's in. It doesn't matter how complicated the seal is; a solution for it will appear no matter what.
This is also the reason why the "future" world suspects that their counterparts don't exist anymore.
If they lose in one of those countless realities, lvazoa would just have to follow that and eventually suffer the sa fate too.
On top of that, these are the only things they know about him, and he could be hiding other things that could turn the situation around whenever he's cornered, if that's even possible.
It was an unreasonable power that they can't do anything against, hence they dubbed him as the [Absolute Despair] despite being the weakest of the five Pillar Gods.
However, Chimune was able to think of a plan to fight against this impossibility by asking herself if lvazoa would still have the sa ability if he were displaced from his own tiline.
It was a nonsensical thought that's only grounded in the suspicion that lvazoa might have the ability to manipulate the present. Even then, she didn't let go of this thought even until her death as she transferred her whole power to Restoras, including her aspirations and hope.
This had been an impossibility, and as if fate granted them reprieve, Restoras soon discovered Momiji Nakiri, the owner of the Telos Karma and soone who has mories of a slightly different past.
With Gasper Vladi discovering a way of contacting different realities, Chimune's thoughts beca a possibility by so miracle.
Of course, desperation soon took hold of them when they couldn't "hear" anything from their "future," and with heavy hearts, they decided on a project: the project of opening a hole to their "past" and displacing lvazoa towards that place.
It didn't matter if lvazoa would still have his abilities like Chimune was hoping, as it was much more important to save their world, even if it ant sacrificing another world.
This, however, didn't co to fruition because of a certain anomaly—the anomaly called Kisuke Urahara and the Ouroboros Academy.
This anomaly was so great that it diverted the history of the world towards sowhere unknown, and this made Mitsuya and Restoras, despite not being able to contact the "future" they are from, decide to scrap this project and opt for a more cooperative stance.
Instead of one-sidedly throwing lvazoa to another world or tiline, they decided that it would be better to just exchange the two versions of lvazoa between worlds and hope that Chimune was right.
Yoruichi and the others thought that Kisuke wouldn't agree to sothing with a very vague possibility like this, but to their surprise, he decided to push through with it.
. . .
Since Kisuke decided to hide so key details, he didn't have much to say, so he was able to convey his plan in just a minute or two. It may seem like a waste to mobilize a large army to secure the surroundings if he's just going to relay a few words, but everyone who was not in on it was glad that they did and were even worried that it wasn't enough.
"...I'll go check the security outside," Sirzechs, who was massaging the bridge of his nose, proposed before standing up and leaving his seat.
"...I'm going with you," Falbium Asmodeus also stood up. "We can check things faster."
"That's a great idea. Let's hurry." Sirzechs was about to exit the room when he rembered sothing and turned around. "Everyone, tell your subordinates to initiate a lockdown. No one is allowed to leave or enter."
"Will do. We'll also inform you of the rest later," Azazel replied while scratching his head, annoyed that he wasn't prepared enough to handle the bomb that Kisuke just dropped. 'I already knew that this would happen, but how the heck does he keep subverting expectations!?' He didn't want to show any reaction because he could see Kisuke having a large grin on his face. 'This nasty bastard! It's fun, isn't it!?'
Kisuke caught sight of him, and the grin on his face grew larger as if to reply, 'Yeah. It's fun.'
Azazel did his best not to react because he knew that he'd only be fueling him, and there were more concerns that needed to be answered. "To summarize what you just said, you intend to go to the future to find a way to defeat Mal... The king of silicons?" Azazel thought it was risky to ntion his na because he learned that there are a lot of strange abilities out there, and he was afraid of being compromised by one of them.
Kisuke thought it was a good idea and said, "I'm not going to the future. I'm going to a world that closely resembles this one, which is coincidentally sitting a few years away from our current ti."
Amaterasu raised her hand and asked, "Can't you do that in the current tiline... or in our current world?" This was the first ti, like so others, that there was a correspondence from the "future," so she and the others were quite confused.
"We could, but with one of them gone, it's going to be hard to deal with them. So instead of going against the guarded enemy, I'd rather go where I'm an unknown variable. As I ntioned earlier, I apparently don't exist in that 'future' world. I could use that to my advantage and gather more information where it's not normally possible with all eyes on ." Kisuke then looked around before continuing, "Besides, I'm not here to discuss this with you guys. I'm just informing you of what I'm going to do and what might happen once I return."
"Right... About you returning once you're done... How does that work?" Ajuka asked this ti, easily accepting the fact that they didn't have any say in this. "The king of silicons... You said you'll return once we successfully trap him. How are we supposed to do that? And how will you be able to match that if you won't be able to communicate once you leave?"
"Well, you just have to stop thinking about how ti works. Or better yet, stop thinking about it. A certain spell will activate the mont you successfully trap the target, and when I activate the sa spell on my side, I'll be able to return at that exact sa ti. You may take ten years to do it, or it may take centuries to achieve my goal—it doesn't matter. I'll always appear at that point of activation."
