The mont they arrived at the grandiose Sitri Mansion, they were imdiately received by a fleet of maids and butlers. In the middle all of them were Serafall, Claire, Tanis, and the seemingly distraught Kunou.
While the servants were greeting them and assisting their approach, dusa walked forward and asked, "Where are the sir and madam?"
"I asked them to move to a secret location along with the Belial Clan," Serafall answered with a big smile on her face while also waving her hand at the group of Shinigami behind her.
dusa stopped for a bit and looked toward Claire, Tanis, and Kunou, "I'm surprised that they allowed you girls here."
"It took so ti but we were able to convince them." Claire then grabbed Kunou's hand before adding, "Besides, we can't really stay still with her like this."
"Yasaka, huh?" dusa muttered, also filled with regret, "I really thought that she'd be able to keep herself neutral."
Kunou was about to say sothing when Serafall's hand landed on top of her hand, stopping her, "Let's head inside for now. I heard about the situation from Sona-chan and we'll be busy all day."
dusa's ears perked up. She thought that they still had a bit of ti to plan things out but it would seem that Serafall wanted to move out imdiately. She turned around and invited the group behind her in and they went straight into a secured room.
Once everyone was seated down, dusa briefed everyone on the current situation and their main objective of disrupting all front lines to cause as much confusion as possible.
Serafall then took dusa's position and turned her head to the group of Shinigami, "With that said, how much help can we expect from you guys?"
Nobody from them imdiately answered, instead, they all looked toward one individual, Shinji.
Shinji thought about it for a mont before sighing and shrugging his shoulders, "Kyouraku only told us to watch everything and secure a foothold. Anything else, we are not to partake in any risky maneuvers... Well, it's his fault for sending who he knows is good friends with that bastard."
'Who is he fooling?' was the question in all the Shinigami minds. Because of how it'll appear as endangering their world, Kyouraku had no choice but to give out such instructions so that he wouldn't give any more reasons to the noble for them to cry out for 'justice.' Kyouraku made him the leader of this 'expedition' knowing that he'll ignore his instruction and help Kisuke out.
"Alright~! You have my thanks~!" Serafall sighed in relief, "Then we should start with securing the Kyoto region."
But before she could continue further Shinji interrupted her, "Hold on. Before that, I'd like to make an arrangent first."
"Go on."
Shinji turned to Kirio and said, "Kirio-san, I'll have you leave now and join the Sitri and Belial Clans." He doesn't know if he's saying it right, but he saw that Serafall nodded and successfully relayed his intentions.
Kirio, on the other hand, could only smile wryly and agree. She still doesn't understand why Tenjirou, Ouetsu, and Senjumaru took her with them but as long as she's not holding back anything, she's fine with any arrangent for her.
After getting Kirio's agreent, Shinji then turned to Senjumaru, "Shutara-san, I'll leave her to you. And when it cos to a defensive battle, you're on par with Kirio-san. Those are Kisuke's family mbers so they are probably going to be a hot target regardless of how hidden their location is."
Senjumaru didn't think much about it since that's also what she intended to do from the start, "I hear you. I'll accompany Kirio."
Serafall was also happy with this because even though she knew that her parents and the mbers of the Belial Clan were capable people, additional help didn't really hurt. Although Ophis and Lilith are also there, they know nothing about protecting and she's worried that they may only end up destroying their surroundings when they attempt to do so.
"Great~!" Serafall clasped her hands together to conjure images of Kyoto, "Let's move on with attacking Kyoto. Not only is it a large part of Indra's forces, but because of their geographical advantage, it's a good gathering spot where they could easily maintain their formation."
"And why choose that?" Furoufushi asked, "Sure it'll do imnse damage to them but that's only if we're successful. We're strong, but we can't forever fend off enemies. From what I heard, although there's a plan of cutting reinforcents from the so called aliens, there's still a sizable amount of them that have descended on this world. Not to ntion, this Indra's nurous forces and I doubt he'll allow us to take over that easily if he wanted to maintain his advantage against his enemy. We'd be better off choosing easier targets and getting assured results."
"Those are valid argunts. However, we do have a path to victory and if everything goes smoothly, we wouldn't even have to fight that much." Serafall then showed an image of a mature fox woman, "This is Yasaka-chan, Kunou-chan's mother. Due to her position, she's tied to Kyoto itself on the soul level that allows her to take advantage of the huge energy reserved within the place's leylines. If we can secure her, we can seal the whole region and expel everyone else aside from us."
Furoufushi's eyes widened, "The little fox' mother?"
From then, Serafall explained how Yasaka didn't actually intend to involve herself with Indra, however, so of her Yokai groups under her were able to find a way to hostage her using the very sa connection she has with the leylines.
"I don't know how they are exactly doing it but the last brief conversation I had with mother this morning is that she suspects that it might have been a unique ability of a Soul Gear." Kunou supplented while looking down.
Serafall patted her head and continued for her, "Kunou has been able to have a conversation with her mother thanks to her Soul Gear's ability to create a clone, but it seems that this ability of hers was also cut off."
Furoufushi, not at all against attacking Kyoto anymore, asked, "So what's the plan?"
"I was hoping to ask you guys first. Since this is a matter regarding the soul, maybe you guys have a better idea of how to handle this. If we can secure Yasaka-chan, we'll be able to secure Kyoto too."
