I had a dream, and I wasn't Nelson Mandela. But I wanted to invade the Fire Lord's palace and force him to leave the Earth Nation in humiliating terms—or else, I'd do unspeakable things to him right in front of his daughter. I knew doing those things to his daughter in front of him wouldn't work on Ozai.

"I'm not Diddy, but I can pretend to be one," I thought to myself.

But before that, I looked at the concussion princess. She was a very pretty woman—young and alluring. Still, I had no desire to follow the inner demons whispering in my head.

"Power is really toxic. No wonder Wang hates that side of humanity."

Not like I wasn't used to that situation. Usually, when you saw a woman like her, back in my old world, you'd think about asking for her number. But then you'd change your mind and catch the bus before it got late.

Yeah, I had practiced a lot of self-restraint.

Now, do I kill her or not?

I'll be blunt: I had no problem killing her on the spot.

"I still need her to deliver my ssage. Man, defeating her and sending her away like that would humiliate her enough. The bitch tried to use emotional attacks on ."

From the piles, more bodies started floating—they belonged to Azula's crew.

A green light enveloped them, healing every injury they had.

At my level, not only was my healing sub-skill maxed out, but I could use the blood in their system to fix them instantly.

I turned my head.

This was a port.

There were still many other ships docked.

The unconscious, now-healed bodies flew toward one of them.

When the crew woke up, they nearly had a heart attack seeing sitting there, waiting for them.

I ignored their expressions and told them what I had in mind.

"Make sure to deliver my ssage if Azula fails. If the Fire Lord is still ignorant by the ti I arrive, I'll kill you. Is that understood?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Yes, sir!"

"Please don't kill us—I have a baby."

"Not my problem," I replied before flying away.

"Who the fuck says they have a baby right before getting killed? It's not like there's a law that survival is for people with babies. It's for the fittest," I thought.

After leaving Azula and her crew to deliver my ssage, I went back to Omashu.

I'd done my job, and now it was ti to share the good news.

Apparently, I underestimated my own speed.

I got back before everyone else.

I found myself in the conference room with Bumi and a few old leaders who hadn't left to liberate the lands.

Face to face with the Mad King, I asked, "Where the hell is everyone?"

"They made it and are preparing to return. Anyways, why are you here so early? Did you escape?" he asked.

"Quite the opposite. I took care of everyone in that base. Then I got bored, so I ca back," I said with a yawn.

"Impressive feat for soone who's not the Avatar," Bumi said.

"Yeah, the Avatar," I replied after him.

Suddenly, I rembered Aang, frozen under so damn ice pile.

To be honest, at this point, I didn't care if he ever woke up.

The war was nearly over, and I had the strength to do whatever I wanted.

The only one who could truly challenge was the Avatar himself.

Even though I could defeat armies on my own, I still had limits.

On the other hand, the Avatar could stop soone capable of wiping out cities. He could create new lands and change the entire map.

"But I could beat him if my bloodbending gets high enough," I thought to myself.

"Oh… You seem to know sothing about him?" Bumi asked.

"Him, not her?" I replied.

"Sokka told the spirits gave you power and a mission to bring back the Avatar. Did you forget that?" Bumi asked.

I waved my hand. "Do you believe anything said by soone who hates ?"

"He actually loves you, in fact," Bumi replied.

I shook my head. "That sounds gay."

"Forget about it. If you don't want to say anything, don't," Bumi said.

"Don't get wrong. I'm not sure either. I saw that in a dream. The Avatar should be in the South Pole. I got tired of looking, so I gave up. If you want, go find him yourself," I offered.

"I will," he said. "After the war."

To be honest, I knew that with my current level, if I went to the South Pole and used my aqua sense, I could find and free Aang.

But what's the point?

He's no longer needed.

So maybe he should stay frozen until the world needs him again.

"So, you know him?" I asked Bumi.

"Why would you assu that?" he asked.

"Because you're goddamn old."

"That hurts my feelings."

"So, you're a girl now?"

"What a mouthy brat."

"What are you gonna do about it?"

"Nothing. I'll just tell your mom."

"You wouldn't dare…"

After that dumb conversation with the child-man—no, the Child-Very-Old-Man—Bumi, I spent a peaceful week at Omashu.

Many of our forces returned with good news. Every day was a celebration.

-x-X-x-

anwhile, soone wasn't celebrating like the rest of the world.

Ozai sat in his palace, listening to his daughter's crew report what happened.

After Azula's suicidal attack and her most advanced techniques, she couldn't even scratch Ryuk.

And that wasn't the worst part.

The worst part was that he spared them—to deliver a ssage.

He'd be coming in a week, alone, to do unspeakable things to Ozai in front of his daughter.

"Not only does he defy , but he says he's coming for my ass—my glorious ass—and he'll do it in front of my daughter? How fucking outrageous!" Ozai thought, yanking his hair in all directions.

Across the room, Azula gave him a side-eye.

Since Ryuk's appearance, Ozai had started losing more of his hair.

She almost said he looked like Uncle Iroh—but she didn't dare.

Then again, thinking about Ryuk…

He'd been the only man to ever defeat her—and the only one to stand tall before her and grab her hair.

Her sneak attack didn't even faze him.

She'd been so sure she could win. But alas.

"That man is insane if he thinks I'd give up my throne!" Ozai roared, standing up. "I'll fight to my last breath. Gather the army—we'll go and kill him!"

Azula narrowed her eyes.

"My father is blinded by arrogance. He knows Ryuk's power. Even with the full army, we won't stop him. Look at him now."

"He's already lost. He just doesn't know it. And he'll drag everyone down with him. Not to ntion—he'll get his ass poked."

"He'll die humiliated."

Azula had always been Ozai's favorite, and she'd inherited many of his values.

Chief among them: honor.

And in the coming weeks, Ozai would lose his.

The Fire Nation's legacy would be stained forever.

There was no saving him.

He was a sinking captain dragging the whole ship down with him.

Except...

There was one more thing Azula had learned from Ozai.

She walked up to him and smiled.

She knew if their roles were reversed, he'd do the sa to her.

"Father, I know how to stop his whole plan," she said.

Ozai raised an eyebrow. "And what is it?"

"Well, simply put: if you're no longer the Fire Lord, nothing will happen," she said.

Ozai laughed. "My daughter, people say you're crazy—and they're right. You think I'll just step down and let him do whatever he wants? I should banish you for that."

"I knew you'd say that." Her smile widened. She pointed her finger at him. "Just know—I'm doing this because I love you."

Ozai's eyes widened, realizing what was coming. He tried to summon lightning, but he was too slow.

Azula's lightning struck him in an instant.

"Goodbye, Father," she said, walking over to the blackened corpse that now lay where Ozai once stood.

Ozai's advisors stood frozen in horror.

Azula continued, "Take my father's body and give him a proper funeral."

"But princess—"

They tried to speak.

"Enough!" Azula snapped. "He was a dead man anyway, and he's getting all of us killed. If Ryuk had co here, he'd have been humiliated in front of everyone. This way, it's quicker. More honorable. Better to die by my hand."

"Understood, Empress."

"We'll proceed with the funeral."
