The woman in front of him, who looked as beautiful as a fairy, made Chen Yang’s eyes light up. She had an excellent aura and a unique charm. Unsurprisingly, this was Zhou Chun’s wife, Chen Huishu.

"Sister Li, you’re here," Chen Huishu said, a sweet smile gracing her lips the mont she saw Li Yan at the door.

However, when her peripheral vision caught Chen Yang standing behind Li Yan, a flash of disgust crossed her beautiful eyes. Thanks to Zhou Chun, she had a strong aversion to all of his male colleagues. She believed that any man who could work alongside Zhou Chun couldn’t possibly be a good person.

"Huishu, long ti no see," Li Yan said with a smile and a nod. She then introduced Chen Yang. "This is Xiao Chen, a new and highly skilled doctor at our hospital."

"It’s nice to et you, Sister Chen. I’m Chen Yang," he said, smiling and nodding at Chen Huishu.

"Hello," she replied. Compared to her warmth toward Li Yan, her tone with Chen Yang was much colder.

"Director Li, you’re here! Brother Chen, quickly, co in!" At that mont, Zhou Chun hurried out from one of the inner rooms. After greeting them, he turned to his wife with an irritated look. "Woman, where are your manners? Hurry up and invite our guests inside. What are you doing just standing at the door?"

He had already offended Chen Yang once and was using his wife’s dical issue as an excuse to smooth things over. He couldn’t afford to offend this important figure again because of his wife’s poor etiquette. Last night, Li Yan had called to tell him that Xiao Huiyun had summoned Chen Yang again. A person valued so highly was far beyond soone he could afford to offend.

"Hmph!"

However, Chen Huishu showed Zhou Chun no respect at all. She shot him a glare, then linked her arm with Li Yan’s and pulled her into the house, leaving the n behind.

Li Yan gave Chen Yang a reassuring look, signaling for him to not get angry or anxious.

"Brother Chen, I’m sorry. The woman is sick, so don’t take it to heart. Just... treat her well later," Zhou Chun said awkwardly as he welcod Chen Yang inside. He was wringing his hands, a clear sign of his nervousness and worry.

"It’s fine," Chen Yang said, shaking his head with a smile. "Lao Zhou, as doctors, how can we get angry with our patients?"

The more aloof Chen Huishu acted, the more it stirred his desire to win her over. With his Profound Power of Life and Death, there was no illness he couldn’t cure. Even if she were an iceberg, he could lt her.

"You’re a magnanimous man, Brother Chen." Zhou Chun heaved a sigh of relief. He guided Chen Yang to the sofa and imdiately began pouring tea, acting like a deferential servant. His attitude was a complete one-hundred-and-eighty-degree turn from when they had first t.

Even Chen Huishu, who had been so cold to Chen Yang, now watched with a hint of curiosity. She knew her husband’s character. Other than his superiors and leaders, he had never been so servile or enthusiastic toward an outsider.

"Zhou Chun, stop fussing and let’s get down to business," Li Yan said. She affectionately squeezed Chen Huishu’s hand, glanced at Zhou Chun, and then turned back to his wife. "Huishu, I know all about your situation. I can’t stand to see you suffer like this. Besides, as a woman, you should enjoy the pleasures of womanhood, not reject intimacy."

"Moreover, frigidity isn’t so truly incurable disease. If you want to get better, you can’t resist the treatnt."

"Also, your frigidity isn’t entirely your fault. I’ve seen Zhou Chun’s dical records. He suffers from erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, which ans he can’t bring you to climax. Over ti, this naturally led to your condition."

Li Yan’s words were so blunt that Chen Huishu subconsciously glanced at Chen Yang, her fair cheeks flushing with sha. "Sister Li, I..." She hadn’t expected Li Yan to say such things in front of a strange man.

"Director Li, please! Don’t embarrass like this," Zhou Chun pleaded, mortified. Plenty of people at the hospital knew about his issues, but for a woman to air them out in front of his wife and an outsider was utterly humiliating.

"Shut up. ’You’ what?" Li Yan had no patience for him. "This situation is your fault! And you’re a doctor, too. How could you spend all this ti blaming everything on Huishu? Are you even a man?"

"I..." Zhou Chun’s scalp tingled with dread. We’re here for a dical consultation, so why has this woman started criticizing ? Doesn’t she understand professional boundaries?

"Heh." Seeing Zhou Chun’s deflated expression, Chen Yang grinned. He couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction.

Suddenly feeling understood by Li Yan, Chen Huishu couldn’t hold back her pent-up grievances and began to cry on Li Yan’s shoulder.

"Cry, cry, cry, that’s all you know how to do! I..." Zhou Chun’s frustration boiled over, and he was about to lash out at his wife for crying. However, one look at Li Yan’s icy glare and he swallowed his angry words.

Li Yan gently patted Chen Huishu’s back, comforting her.

Zhou Chun took a deep breath and turned awkwardly to the smiling Chen Yang. "Brother Chen, this woman won’t stop crying. How about... you take my pulse first and check out?"

"Sure," Chen Yang agreed. After all, he couldn’t just take the one hundred thousand yuan consultation fee for nothing. It was ti to act.

"Thank you, Brother Chen!" Overjoyed, Zhou Chun imdiately extended his wrist.

Chen Yang began to take Zhou Chun’s pulse, waiting for Li Yan to finish consoling Chen Huishu.

As Zhou Chun waited nervously, Chen Yang glanced at him before withdrawing his hand. "Lao Zhou," he said flatly, "when you were a child, did you suffer a severe blow to your penis or scrotum?"

"That..." Zhou Chun’s eyes widened in disbelief. "That’s miraculous, Brother Chen! You could tell that just from my pulse?"

Even the weeping Chen Huishu looked up at Chen Yang in surprise. She knew about this. Shortly after they were married, when Zhou Chun had trouble getting an erection, he had apologized and told her about it. This revelation forced her to reevaluate Chen Yang. He was a genuinely skilled doctor. Perhaps her frigidity really could be cured.

Li Yan, however, remained calm. Anyone favored by Xiao Huiyun must be truly capable.

Zhou Chun’s eyes shone with a desperate, fiery hope. "Can it be treated?"

"The blockage has been there for about twenty years. Chronic illnesses are difficult to treat." Chen Yang’s slight shake of the head made Zhou Chun’s heart sink into despair. "However, I can write you a prescription to help regulate your system. It will take ti to see results, and you must abstain from sex."

"Write it! Write the prescription! I’ll do it. I don’t care how long it takes!" Seeing a glimr of hope, Zhou Chun was ready to agree to anything. As long as he could regain his manly vigor, he was willing to abstain. Besides, his wife lived in the sa house; she wasn’t going anywhere.

"Alright, we can discuss your issues later. What’s the rush for a grown man?" Li Yan interjected with a frown. "Let Xiao Chen examine your wife first. The most important thing is to get her treated."
