Chapter 193
"This is my own ability. I only gained the power to ignore gravity after eating the Float-Float Fruit, so I can’t teach it to you."
Faced with the girls’ enthusiasm, Rorschach could only helplessly reject their request.
Hearing this, they all showed disappointed expressions. They had thought they might learn a convenient way to move around, but it turned out to be Rorschach’s exclusive ability.
Seeing their disappointed faces, Rorschach suddenly changed his tone.
"Although I can’t teach you how to float, I can teach you another thod to fly and move at high speed."
"Really?" The girls’ eyes lit up again.
Rorschach then demonstrated the effects of Moon Walk and Shave to them.
Humans create rapid movent and mid-air steps by stomping the ground and air with one foot at high speed. rmaids, however, only have one powerful fish tail. While it makes movent on land inconvenient, the strength of their tail is several tis greater than that of humans or fishn.
This strength isn’t simply "two human legs combined." In terms of raw power, it far exceeds that calculation.
Theoretically, if the rmaid girls trained in the Crew Training Room for so ti, almost all of them would be able to quickly master Shave and Moon Walk.
"Isn’t that the Marines’ Six Powers? To casually teach such techniques... Rorschach-kun is really generous."
Jinbe watched and sighed with admiration at Rorschach’s openness.
"Well, as their captain, it’s my responsibility to help them grow stronger and protect them. That’s what a captain should do."
Rorschach shrugged as he replied.
"That line was really cool! It makes feel very safe!"
The rmaid girls cheered from the side.
"We agree with that too."
Nami and the others also nodded.
Rorschach had indeed been carefully guiding them to improve their strength throughout the journey and had always taken care of their safety — even in bed.
"Compared to the Six Powers, I’m more interested in your Fish-Man Karate."
"The way it can create water currents out of nowhere to attack Devil Fruit users... that could be surprisingly effective."
"Eh? Rorschach-kun wants to learn Fish-Man Karate?"
Jinbe looked surprised and responded instinctively.
"No. I just think it’s interesting. Rather than learning it myself, I’d rather have Nami and the others learn it. It might co in handy later."
Rorschach shook his head and explained.
In the original story, Robin not only further developed her Devil Fruit powers but also learned Fish-Man Karate from Hack of the Revolutionary Army. Her strength increased significantly, and after awakening her fruit, she was even able to easily overpower Black Maria, one of the Flying Six of the Beast Pirates.
As the saying goes, it never hurts to have more skills. Rorschach wanted the girls on his crew to learn more ways to protect themselves.
"I see. I was actually wondering how to properly thank you all for your help earlier. If you don’t mind, please accept my Fish-Man Karate training thods along with the insights I’ve gained over the years."
Jinbe suddenly understood and readily handed over the training manual and his personal notes on Fish-Man Karate.
"Then I won’t be polite."
Rorschach accepted it without any hesitation.
Fish-Man Karate could be learned at dojos on Fish-Man Island, but none of those instructors were as strong as Jinbe. The most valuable part was Jinbe’s own training insights.
"Nami, take this. Make sure you all train hard. The techniques here are no less refined than the boxing I taught you earlier — in so ways, they’re even more sophisticated."
Rorschach handed the manual to Nami.
Although Wing Chun was good, its main benefit for them ca from certain techniques rather than the forms themselves. For people with special physiques like theirs, martial arts born in this world tended to have more powerful and unique effects.
" Thanks, Jinbe."
Nami accepted it and thanked him.
"It’s just so training thods and a few insights. I’m the one who should be thanking you," Jinbe replied, shaking his head.
This small conversation quickly ended.
Following the direction of his Observation Haki, Rorschach brought everyone above a large sunken square.
The square was concave in shape. On both sides of the upper edges stood countless civilians. In the center of the square was a large group of fishn, with the strongest aura belonging to a shark fishman.
This was most likely the mastermind of this incident — Hody Jones.
Just as Rorschach had expected, Hody Jones’s aura didn’t feel particularly strong. A single Headquarters Vice Admiral would probably be enough to suppress the entire rebellion by force.
However, that wasn’t the most eye-catching part.
What stood out the most were Fish-Man Island’s three princes.
At this mont, they were tightly bound to a pillar, covered in bruises and wounds from being beaten. They looked miserable.
The civilians on the sides either gritted their teeth while glaring at Hody, or turned their heads away with their eyes closed, unwilling to watch what was about to happen.
"Big brothers?! Why are they...?"
Shirahoshi covered her mouth as she looked at her three brothers below. Tears were already welling up in her eyes.
She had just seen her brothers riding sea beasts heading sowhere earlier, yet now they were defeated and tied to a pillar.
"They’re way too useless. It’s only been a short while and they’ve already been defeated by the rebels."
Rorschach looked at the three princes with speechless disappointnt.
From the mont he saw them flying through the sky near the edge of the island until now, only about ten minutes had passed.
In the ani, this scene would probably drag on for several episodes of talking, yet here they were already beaten and captured so quickly.
"Rorschach-kun! Is this really the ti to make sarcastic comnts? Please save Prince Fukaboshi and the others!"
Camie and the other rmaid girls pleaded urgently.
The three princes were quite popular on Fish-Man Island. They were known for having good character and weren’t spoiled nobles. They had built a good reputation by helping their father manage the island’s affairs for many years.
"Don’t worry. With here, Fukaboshi and the others won’t be in any real danger."
Rorschach’s tone was lazy and he showed no signs of moving, but a sharp glint had appeared in his eyes.
His Conqueror’s Haki had already locked onto the area. He was ready to release it at any mont.
Everything was already under his control.
