However, unlike cultivation thods, these Divine Magics were kept tightly under wraps by the Holy Light Church. Prying them loose wouldn’t be easy.

There was one way, of course: Levi could join the Holy Light Church and beco one of its Holy Knights.

But that was impossible.

He was used to being his own boss. Levi would rather die than work for soone else.

He was a corporate drone before he transmigrated, and he’d still be a corporate drone after? Didn’t he f*cking transmigrate for nothing, then?

Joining the Holy Light Church would also an he’d have to voluntarily offer up everything he had fought so hard to build, all to demonstrate his earnest faith in the Holy Light Goddess.

To put it bluntly, you couldn’t just join with empty words. You had to make a gesture.

So, this matter would have to fall to Liya. The Lord decided to cajole her tomorrow morning, to see if Liya could get so Holy Light Divine Skills from that Saintess of the Holy Light Church for him to use.

After all, from the looks of it, they were besties who were close enough to share a bed.

The Lord’s demands weren’t high. He wouldn’t mind seven or eight of them.

His thoughts concluded, Levi looked at his Attribute Panel.

Since he last checked his attribute panel, he had gone through nurous hard-fought battles, allowing Levi to gain another five levels.

Last ti, he had put all his skill points into dical Treatnt. This ti, after gaining five levels, he had acquired another ten points.

After so thought, Levi decided to save his skill points and proficiency points. After all, he had learned his lesson from before; it was possible that those Holy Light Divine Skills could also be upgraded directly with skill points.

As for the attribute points, he couldn’t save them. He hadn’t forgotten that the Glowing Holy Word Treasure Manual provided a multiplier effect; the stronger his original physical body, the greater the benefits.

As an outstanding mber of the Balance Sect, Levi planned to distribute the attribute points between Power and Agility.

He hadn’t been able to add points to Intelligence from the very beginning, so he didn’t have any hopes for it. As for Charm, in a ga, it would increase the number of soldiers he could command.

But after transmigrating, he didn’t have a soldier cap. The stat was purely literal: Charm improved his own appearance and disposition.

And Levi considered his current appearance to be a cut above even an Elf Prince’s. It was more than enough, so there was no need to waste precious attribute points on it.

"I choose you! Evolve, Lord of High Cliff Castle!"

Levi lifted his finger and furiously tapped away on the panel.

The attribute points he had been accumulating since arriving in this world lted away like snow in a fire. His Power and Agility reached sixty-one and sixty, respectively. A sudden torrent of heat erupted from within, strengthening Levi’s entire body.

The pleasure was no less than what he got from one of those "full-service" deluxe massages in his previous life.

"Damn, that feels good!"

Levi finally understood why those Beastman Barbarians always had looks of insatiable desire on their faces whenever he upgraded them.

It was because the thrill of clearly feeling your Tier rising and your body growing stronger was a pleasure both ntal and physical.

"HIYAH!"

Scrambling out from under the covers, the Lord eagerly leaped off the bed, settled into a horse stance, and threw a fierce straight punch.

WHOOSH!

A sonic boom erupted.

The once-thin air had beco as viscous as seawater. Levi felt like he had just thrown a punch underwater, an unsatisfyingly sluggish feeling.

But a look of delight spread across his face, because this ant his punch had broken the sound barrier. Exactly how powerful it was remained to be tested.

’I’ve finally reached the level of a Saint Soldier.’

He mused gleefully. After ssing around for half the night, the Lord crawled back into his quilt and went to sleep.

...

The next day, the Lord woke bright and early. Instead of his usual routine—swinging his giant sword, which resembled a slab of iron, in the open space—he stood in the bustling clearing with his hands behind his back. He stood tall and straight, putting on a profound expression as he gazed at the horizon where the sky t the earth. He was the very picture of a lonely master at the peak of his power.

He was hoping soone would ask in shock, "Heavens, boss, did you beco a Firefly-Tier Holy Knight in a single night?"

Then, he would give a slight nod with an expression that said it was nothing special.

Unfortunately, none of the brutes in High Cliff Castle had the eye for it. The flattery ca in waves, but it all completely missed the mark.

Finally, the Silver Dragon Maiden—who might have actually understood—passed by. But the mont she saw the Lord, she reacted like a mouse seeing a cat. Sporting a black eye, she quickly covered her face and fled.

’To be honest,’ Sophia had never imagined this human Lord possessed such great power.

’Although a Giant Dragon’s power and magic are significantly reduced when they use the Transformation Technique...’

’...that reduction was relative to a Giant Dragon’s full strength. Even if the Transformation Technique restrained her draconic body, the power contained within her human form was still incalculably greater than that of a normal human.’

’Yet yesterday, in this Lord’s hands, she had been as helpless as a newborn whelp, rcilessly ravaged.’

’Even for a Giant Dragon, she had nearly fallen apart. And that Beastman nad Zat had it even worse. The poor guy was tossed into the sky like a rubber ball and then slamd around in every way imaginable. It was simply too brutal!’
