Chapter 89: White Gale Pavelion

The ride to White Gale Pavilion was fantastic and Ye Jun enjoyed every single second of it. The ladies gave him weird looks, while Mountain laughed alongside him.

Apparently, he really missed being so high as his holand was high up in the mountains. Even sects were usually created on small mountains, but Ulankar was way above that.

Ye Jun made a silent promise to visit his holand too. It seed interesting. The people, their culture, everything attracted him.

’This world has so much to offer.’ Ye Jun thought, leaning against the platform’s railings. ’And all of this will be destroyed by so red candles.’

"We’re here!" Song Liangxue said, coming to stand beside him. Her long black hair fluttered in the wind, making her even more srizing. "This is the White Gale Pavilion."

Ye Jun admired her beauty for a mont longer before turning to look forward. Far ahead, he could see a tall mountain peak shrouded in rapidly moving clouds.

"Huh!" Ye Jun blinked in surprise. "Are they really moving so fast?"

"It’s the beauty of my sect," Han Yuexin said, a proud smile on her face. "You can say this is a Wind Domain. Terrible gusts of wind reside in the deeper part of the mountains. They affect the outer layers too, resulting in this phenonon. It feels as if the clouds are dancing around the mountain."

"Hence the na," Song Liangxue continued for her. "A Ruler Realm cultivator died here long ago. A very proficient one, so he was able to leave his domain behind for his descendants."

"A domain?" Ye Jun asked in confusion.

"It is what makes them a Ruler Realm cultivator," Song Liangxue said. "That’s all I’ll say. You’ll learn more when you get there."

"Wait! I don’t even know the realms above Origin Realm," Ye Jun said, trying to fish out more information now that he was entering the bigger world.

"Oh! I forgot you never left that tiny city," Song Liangxue crossed her arms and said. "After Qi Condensation Realm, there is Soul Tempering, followed by Origin Realm, Earth Realm, Heaven Realm, and finally Ruler Realm."

"That’s quite a difference," Ye Jun concluded. "I’m guessing Ruler Realm cultivators are the top echelon basically, right?"

"You can say that," ihui answered for him. "They do kind of rule the world, after all. If I rember correctly, Xue’s mother is also a Ruler Realm cultivator, right?"

Han Yuexin nodded excitedly like a child. "Yes! I look up to her the most. She rules the North alongside her father, Saint of the Endless Frost."

’That is so badass title!’ Ye Jun turned back toward the mountain peaks. "I guess I have a long way to go."

"You do," ihui nodded in agreent. "Bright Star City is just a tiny city and the Ye Clan nothing impressive."

Ye Jun smiled but said nothing. How could he tell her that the tiny city and ant-like Ye Clan was once the whole world to him?

"By the way, let’s make so things clear," Song Liangxue said, tugging a strand of hair back. "You don’t need my help, right?"

"Unless my life is in danger, no," Ye Jun shook his head. "I want to forge my own path. Obstacles will always be there, so if I want to move forward, I’ll need to face them myself."

"Good!" Song Liangxue smiled pleasantly. "But rember that you’re my husband and without my protection, you will have lots of trouble."

"I expected that when I offered you the deal," Ye Jun smiled as well. "Don’t worry. You didn’t choose an idiot husband. I know what to do."

"Let

guess, you won’t face them head-on," ihui said.

"If they are more powerful, then it’s an idiotic move to fight them," Ye Jun shrugged. "So call

a coward but I’m not becoming an idiot."

"You and your weird logic," ihui sighed. "But it will impact her reputation."

"I couldn’t care less about my reputation," Song Liangxue chose to speak at that mont. "But you’re also the Song Clan’s son-in-law, so I can’t have you destroy their reputation."

She was going to say more, but Ye Jun held her hands and smiled. "I told you. Trust . I’m not an idiot."

She turned toward him and saw the confidence in his eyes. Smiling, she said, "I do trust you. That’s why I chose you as my husband. But I just ant if things get worse, let

help you."

"That’s alright with ," Ye Jun said.

"Can count on

too!" Mountain said. "Will give you food and make you stronger. Like us Ulankar."

"Thanks, man. I’ll need that," Ye Jun patted his shoulder.

"Juniors, we are descending!" Han Yuexin warned them.

They took their positions as the Falcon dove down with its wings folded back. The winds beca faster and faster, hitting their faces like blades.

Ye Jun guessed that the Falcon alone wasn’t the reason for it. The winds really were weird around the mountain peak.

’How are others allowing a vassal sect to possess a domain if it’s that important?’

He wondered, though the answer was obvious.

’It is probably getting weaker.’

Soon, they crossed the white clouds and found a different world behind them. Structures he had only seen in movies stood there along the mountain slopes. The hard rocks were carved in to support the massive settlent built here.

’This looks like Chinese movies turning real.’

Of course, the sight before him was much more spectacular. Ancient wooden structures, arenas, training grounds, deep valleys. The sect had so much to offer.

The Falcon finally spread its wings again and glided down to a stone platform. It was big and separated from the rest of the sect, and surrounded by designated areas for beasts like him.

"Welco to my humble sect, fellow junior brothers and sisters," Han Yuexin said, turning around. "You’ll surpass

soon anyway, so I’ll address you this way."

"All I’ll say is, this sect is aweso!" Ye Jun gave a thumbs up. "I love it."

"Sa here!" Mountain laughed.

"You two..." ihui facepald. "At least experience the sect first."

"Don’t ruin our mood, noble prince," Ye Jun almost called her princess but stopped.

"Haha! I appreciate the enthusiasm!" Han Yuexin chuckled and said. "Any questions before we enter? The other elders will take you from there."

Seeing the opportunity, Ye Jun instantly raised his hand.
