Chapter 87: I Will Rember You

The main culprit behind the Su Family’s killing was Ye Chen, so naturally Ye Jun had made plans for him. Song Liangxue’s anger at his actions gave him another idea.

"Anything I can do?" she asked, her voice finally returning to normal as she also gripped his hand tightly.

Ye Jun nodded and said, "He’s entering Iron Frost Sect, right? I’m sure you can have so people enter the sect and help out the injured young master."

A glint passed through Song Liangxue’s eyes as her lips curved up. "I see. You just want good things for your little brother, huh. I’m glad to be of help. I will see that he’s well taken care of there."

Ye Jun smiled hearing that. Unlike ihui, Song Liangxue was straightforward and also didn’t hesitate to do things. He was sure she wouldn’t hesitate to go far.

’Little brother, did you really think I would let you go so you could grow stronger and co back at

to take revenge?’

He wasn’t worried about himself, as he was confident Ye Chen could never catch up to him, especially with the Attributes system helping him. However, that wasn’t the only thing your enemies could do.

The reminder of that was right before his eyes.

After the structure was completely destroyed, Ye Jun cleared the area along with the others and made two graves there. One small and the other one big.

On the headstone, he wrote his heartfelt words for the two of them.

Su Yunfei

A devoted father who faced the storm

Su Wan

My little sister in all but blood

May you both find the peace this world denied you. I will rember you.

— Ye Jun

Stepping back, he looked at the two graves and felt his emotional side sliding back into darkness, trying to avoid the reality. He sighed and bowed.

"Thank you for everything you’ve given . I promise I will rember you both till the end of my life."

Beside him, Song Liangxue and ihui also bowed in respect. There wasn’t even a hint of hesitation in their movents. Both truly respected the pair of father and daughter.

’You kept this man from falling further,’ ihui thought, closing her eyes. ’Thank you. Only because of you could I et him.’

She knew how bad Ye Jun’s situation was, and because of her childhood she understood the pain of isolation, of not having anyone in this world who cared about you. So she truly felt grateful toward them for keeping Ye Jun sane.

On the other hand, Song Liangxue’s thoughts were much simpler than hers. She simply bowed in respect for her husband’s family. Anyone who loved and cared about him deserved respect from her.

’I hope you have a better afterlife.’

anwhile, Mountain stared at the graves for a mont before opening his mouth and plucking out one of his teeth. He swallowed the blood and said, "Ulankar culture gives respect to people like them. Shown by giving away our teeth."

He pushed his tooth into the ground and said, "They are precious. Death uses them in afterlife."

Ye Jun didn’t quite understand his culture, but he could see that this ant a lot to him and his people. It made him happy that there were now more people who respected the duo and rembered them.

At least he wasn’t alone now in rembering them.

"Thank you," he said from his heart.

"I do nothing for you," Mountain said after spitting so blood. "Only did what I think is right. You lowlanders are weird."

"I’m just thanking you on their behalf," Ye Jun replied.

"Feeling better?" ihui asked, looking over at him.

"Much better," he nodded in response. "I wanted to give a peaceful goodbye. So that they rember soone was here for them."

"That’s good." ihui smiled.

"Aunt, can you run a small errand for ?" Song Liangxue said as Song Ying appeared beside her. "Tell the three clans that if sothing happens to these graves then they will face my wrath."

"Easy work," Song Ying stepped back and said. "I’ll warn them in my style."

Ye Jun gave a last glance at the graves and seed to see Su Wan standing there, waving at him cheerfully. "Farewell, Big Brother! I’ll be waiting here so please co back to visit . We will play together!"

"I promise I’ll co back," Ye Jun mumbled, then turned around to leave.

The four of them then left and went back toward the Northern Entrance Gate.

Eyeing Mountain, ihui said, "You two bonded really quickly."

"Food brings people closer, female man," Mountain said. "He likes food.

likes food. So

likes him too."

"Can you stop calling

that?" ihui’s lips twitched. "I am a man just like you."

Mountain gave her a glance, then looked at himself and laughed. "Sure, sure. Talk when you reach my chest."

"You know, it’s a bit unfair to compare with your build. I doubt anyone can have a physique like that," Ye Jun said, finally in a better mood now that he had given a proper burial to the Su Family.

"We Ulankar have these physiques!" Mountain said, grinning widely. "Am quite tall among them. But they also have very good bodies."

"So it’s just you people who are weird!" ihui huffed and looked away. "I’m very normal."

"The way you act isn’t helping," Song Liangxue said.

"She behaves more like a man," Mountain said casually and Song Liangxue’s hand instantly went for her sword.

Ye Jun laughed seeing that and said, "You’re going to get yourself killed like that, my friend."

"Why?" Mountain asked in genuine confusion.

"Letting out your true thoughts is only a good thing if you can back it up," Song Liangxue said, taking her hand off the sword after seeing Ye Jun’s laugh. "I’m sparing you because you made my husband laugh."

Mountain scratched the back of his head and said, "You lowlanders very confusing."

He turned toward Ye Jun and asked, "You called

friend earlier?"

"Any problems? You don’t want to be friends with ?" Ye Jun asked in return.

"If I say no, that lady would touch her sword again. Hahah!" Mountain laughed at his own words.

Even Song Liangxue smiled faintly at that, while the other two joined in the laughter. Finally, they joined Han Yuexin at the Northern Entrance Gate.
