Chapter 119: Challenge To Duel

Ye Jun knew provoking a Soul Tempering Realm Cultivator was a very bad choice. Especially in the way he was doing, but what could he do? He just wanted to grow stronger fast without arousing suspicion.

Making enemies around was the best way for that. His reputation would take a dive down, but he couldn’t care less about it.

"Your rank is 406th, right?" Zhuxin asked, so he nodded. "Good. et

in the Falcon Fields if you aren’t a coward."

"Sure. See you there," Ye Jun smiled, having finally accomplished his goal. "Also, if you can, please bring your sister. She can cheer for ."

Zhuxin almost unsheathed his sword, but forced himself to calm down and then stord out. He swore to make Ye Jun pay for everything he did.

After he left, Third Seat ca to him while others cleaned the ss, "Why are you doing this?"

"What do you an?" Ye Jun feigned innocence.

"Zhuxin might have believed you in his anger, but I keep my emotions in control, Junior Brother," Third Seat said calmly. "You were intentionally provoking him and leading him on to this. So tell , why do you want to fight him?"

"Since you’ve been a fair judge of law, I’ll let you know that yes, it was intentional," Ye Jun smiled and said. "As for why, you’ll have to co and see for yourself."

Third Seat thought about his schedule and then nodded, "Fine. I’m really curious about you. Not just anyone can shrug off pressure from a Soul Tempering Realm Cultivator."

Ye Jun just smiled at that and turned towards his friends, "Let’s go. You’ll have so good entertainnt to watch."

"Haha! Took this day off to relax, but it’s also fine!" Mountain laughed and joined him. "Tell

if you need help."

"M- too. Tell

if you need sothing," He Wenxin said, stepping forward.

"You know, you shouldn’t get involved with this," Ye Jun said. "They’re not going to leave you alone if you accompany . Don’t you hate getting in trouble?"

"I do hate it, but..." He Wenxin steeled her heart and said. "I value loyalty too. If it weren’t for you, I would have been there instead of her taking the punishnt. Worse, I might have been expelled."

"Wait! So you didn’t fra her?" Third Seat was surprised.

"What? You really believed that?" Ye Jun was also surprised. "And yet you went along with that?"

"I believe in evidence more than just feelings and thoughts," Third Seat said. "What I believed was of little matter."

"You have a weird sense of justice," Ye Jun said. "And no, I’m not that lowly to put innocent people in harm’s way. That bitch was a bully who tornted Wenxin and many others. After I confronted her, she tried to fra us. That’s when I decided to take advantage of her actions."

"Interesting." Third Seat smiled faintly. "Understandable. Zhuxin is very emotional when it cos to his family, so his unconditional love might have spoiled her too much."

"Pretty much." Ye Jun shrugged. "Anyways, let’s go before that stupid man announces

as a coward. I’m anything but that."

He turned towards He Wenxin and smiled, "Also, thanks. I appreciate you standing up for sothing at least."

He Wenxin lowered her head, having nothing to say.

With that, the four of them left the Law Enforcent Hall and descended towards the Falcon Fields. Fortunately, it was big and was connected to the peaks through various routes, so they arrived there pretty soon.

There, they found a crowd gathering already. Many of them were the sa disciples who accompanied Ye Jun from the Dining Hall. This ti, they ca to watch him getting beaten down.

"Damn traitors. That’s why I don’t trust people with no principles," Ye Jun cursed.

"Humans are fickle," Mountain said. "Reason why Ulankars do not trust them."

"Understandably so!" Ye Jun shrugged. "You two can accompany them and cheer for

from there. I need so motivation, you know."

"You sure you want

to cheer for you?" Mountain asked, laughing again.

Ye Jun imagined a hulk-like man jumping and cheering for him like a cheering lady and shuddered. He knew it was a wrong image, but he still felt weirded out.

"Never mind. I’ll just think about soone else to get motivation," Ye Jun waved his hand.

Then, he went towards the centre arena while Mountain and the other two went to join the audience. He noticed He Wenxin hesitating to say sothing but in the end didn’t say anything.

Ye Jun jumped, landing gracefully on the arena’s edge. He looked at the other end and found Zhuxin standing with his group. They surrounded another young man with one ear cut off, giving him a scary appearance.

Noticing him, Zhuxin flashed a cruel smile and ca forward, "I didn’t think you’ll have the guts to co. At least you’re man enough for that."

’Should I make a mom joke? Nah. I already provoked him enough today,’ Ye Jun cracked his neck and said, "If I was into n, I would have shown you who is the true man among us."

Zhuxin opened his mouth but couldn’t find anything. He felt speechless hearing his nonsense. Who even said those things? Even the audience felt like they were having a deja vu.

Having nothing to say, Zhuxin pointed at the one-eared man and said, "et Zhan Kuang, Rank 399th. His rank only dropped because of his injuries, but now he’s back in his pri again. Much better, actually. Do you dare to accept his challenge to a duel?"

Ye Jun knew he had already provoked him enough, but he couldn’t control himself and said, "Are you his servant? Why are you announcing things for him?"

The audience laughed while Zhuxin’s lips twitched. He bellowed, "Silence!"

The crowd quieted down.

Zhuxin went towards Zhan Kuang and whispered sothing to him. Then, the man ca forward and said, "I, Zhan Kuang, challenge you to a duel."

Ye Jun wondered if he could get more benefits from this, but decided to let it go for now. He grinned widely and said, "I accept the invitation to kick your butt."
