Chapter 113: Great Progress

Days passed as Ye Jun imrsed himself in cultivating the Grand Genesis Foundation Sutra and did nothing else. He was very serious when it ca to improving himself and he always did it properly.

He didn’t want to do it just fast, but also in the best way. Even if it ant that his cultivation speed would stagnate, he chose to do it in a way that was good for his future.

Of course, that didn’t an his cultivation was stagnant. In fact, it was also increasing rapidly as the cultivation manual was of Heaven Grade.

But he mostly focused on making his foundation sturdier and more potent. It also increased his Qi control and opened up the various ridians which were usually blocked for most cultivators.

He could only do it because of the detailed instructions given in the cultivation manual. Qi was a dangerous thing, even for oneself, and one had to follow proper pathways otherwise they would suffer from Qi deviation.

That was why cultivation manuals were needed.

Just like that, he continued cultivation without any breaks.

...

After almost two months...

In one of the many Mountain Abodes, a young man with a tall, muscular physique sat in his ditation room, eyes closed and breathing steady as wisps of Qi floated around him.

All of a sudden, his eyes snapped open and the air around him scattered away. His eyes now contained a dense presence in them, as if just his gaze alone was enough to bring his enemies down.

But Ye Jun knew it was just an illusion brought by the constant movent of Qi. It happened often and was called the Phenonon of Heaven’s Illusion.

He clenched his fists, feeling a new rush of power coursing through his veins. In the past two months, his cultivation manual focused on perfecting the body, so while there was little progress in his cultivation base, his physique had improved in leaps and bounds.

’What a monstrous manual!’ Ye Jun was surprised to sense his own progress. ’It truly deserves to be of Heaven Rank.’

And this was just the first part of it. He couldn’t even imagine what would happen once he collected all the parts and cultivated them. Just thinking about it made his blood boil in excitent.

Ye Jun summoned his status and stared at it. Most of it was the sa, like his cultivation base which was closer to breaking through to the Sixth-Stage Qi Condensation Realm, but there were also so changes.

[Physique: 109% > 140%]

The leap was insane. Previously, it barely progressed after reaching one hundred percent. It didn’t even advance to a new rank, but now things had changed.

’Maybe it’ll change once I’ve completed the first part of the Grand Genesis Foundation Sutra.’

He had a feeling that his body needed to be perfected before he could advance in ranks. But that also ant he would be far more powerful physically than most cultivators in the sa realm.

Ye Jun couldn’t hide his excitent as a thought crossed his mind. ’How strong is my body compared to Mountain?’

From what he had read, Ulankar people were born with a Giant Bloodline which gave them a massive boost in physique. There were hardly any humans who could compare to them in this aspect.

’What about Spiritual Beasts?’

Shaking those thoughts off, he focused on other things that improved. Comprehension and Yang Seed, along with the addition of Grand Genesis Foundation Sutra in his cultivation manual section.

Though the progress in them was very minor. But he was happy nonetheless. After all, they were hard to improve.

However, his biggest gain was sothing else, sothing for which he had been waiting for ages.

[Qi Control Lv. 01 (31%)]

The ability to control and manipulate Qi, the energy of Heaven and Earth. Finally, he got it, making his battle prowess soar, or so he believed.

He had to check.

Ye Jun sat there for a mont longer, contemplating if he should continue cultivating to form the sixth Qi Vortex in his dantian. He was pretty close to it.

’Nah! I can get it faster in other ways,’ Ye Jun smiled and jumped to his feet. ’It’s ti to end the seclusion.’

Before leaving, he glanced down at the Qi Gathering Array Formation. It was so much better than his previous one, which made him happy for taking Lin Xuan’s rank.

In a very pleasant mood, he freshened up and left his abode. It was ti to move up his plans, so he considered them while walking.

’Next target is improving my cultivation base. For that, I have two options,’ Ye Jun thought, descending the mountain. ’First is to take missions. That way I can go out and hunt Spiritual Beasts or even humans.’

Humans weren’t any better, after all. In this martial world of cultivation, there were plenty of trash people for him to hunt down. They would surely give him lots of resources to grow stronger.

’For the second one, I’ve already laid the foundation,’ Ye Jun smiled and thought. ’I should start climbing the rankings. That’s a better and safer thod.’

Although he wasn’t scared of facing danger to grow stronger, only an idiot would do that when he had a much better way.

Ye Jun punched his palm and muttered, "It’s decided then."

Before that, he had so other things to do. He wanted to visit Song Liangxue, but decided against it. She was probably deep in her cultivation session, especially since she was also cultivating a Heaven Rank cultivation manual.

Then, he thought of visiting ihui. Unlike Song Liangxue, she occasionally contacted Ye Jun to ask for his well-being and spent the rest of her ti healing herself.

Ye Jun was really curious what kind of poison she was inflicted with that it was taking so long to completely heal. He had asked Song Liangxue before if she could be of help, but ihui declined the offer.

’What a pain. I’ll et her after ranking up a bit,’ Ye Jun thought, rubbing his chin. ’Yeah, I’ll go to her with so good news.’

With that, he decided to contact Mountain and check up on him. He also wanted to taste his cooking again.
