Claire couldnt accept that!
Although what had happened was enough proof that Reese was the poisoner, but Claire still didnt want to believe it.
Claire didnt know much about her brother. He was the eldest and Claire was the youngest daughter, they were almost ten years apart so they didnt grow up together. But Claire has heard a lot of stories about her brother.
Her brother was exceptional since young, he may not have been apt in fighting, but he was outstanding in strategizing and talented which was discovered by her father early on and developed.
As the eldest, he had an age advantage compared to the other princes and princess and his talents that were nurtured quickly distinguished himself from his siblings.
Astronomy, geography, military affairs, and politics he received the best education, and read plentiful books. Her father spent a lot of effort to raise him, and he indeed didnt let him down, as a child he quickly learned things that even adults found complicated and profound.
His daily studying made his talents even more evident and he beca the kings pride and joy.
Of course, those were all things that Claire heard later on, she didnt have mory of it, because at that ti she was still a little girl that was running around the yard all day.
She had thought that if it continued on like that, her brother would surely beco a respected scholar, but who could have expected the rapid change in events.

So, whose fault was it?
Was it the fault of Reese who just wanted to play, or Georges for not being able to educate him properly. Or was it all wrong from the beginning, and a child shouldnt have been forced to learn bullshit knowledge that even adults didnt want to learn.
Claire didnt know, at that ti she was imrsed in equestrian archery.
Unlike her brother, Claire wasnt interested in studying since a young age and enjoyed things that boys would like.
Because she was a girl, she wasnt strong enough to compete with other boys, so she would be often bullied by her siblings, but she ca to realize that if she learned archery and her aura was strong enough, she could beat boys stronger than her from far away!
She had her mind set and she trained daily with other boys and even forgot she was a girl. So her childhood was completely different from her brothers.
Since she wasnt talented on the scholarly side, her father had no expectations for her and let her do as she pleased. So she grew up carefree playing around with her brothers.
Reese was the exact opposite.
Because he showed his talents early on, his father personally supervised his studies, but as his grades fell off a cliff, their father son relationship was completely ruined after an argunt.
Claire already forgot what had happened, she just rembered that her brother and father had an intense argunts, and her father even hit him. Reese held back tears as he held his swollen cheeks and ran out of the palace.
Although Reese was found and ca back, his father never forced him to study anymore after that, and Reese also completely changed.
Smoking, drinking, fighting, won, falling into bad company he beca no different that those other hedonistic children of rich parents, perhaps even more so, it was like he was trying to make up for all the lost ti.

After his lockup, Reese beca a lot more restrained, who knows if it was out of fear of punishnt or because he repented, but he didnt do any more of those foolish things and his relationship with his father slowly recovered, at least on the surface, and the brother from this ti period was the one Claire was familiar with.
So after all these years, her brother still harbored hate and actually poisoned his father?
Claire and George both fell silent and was shocked by the sudden news, Lin Xiao was more ahead of them and thinking of sothing else strange.
Did Reese poison George just to kill him?
