On this mysterious and breathtaking Egghead Island, there were countless advanced inventions far beyond today’s science.
For example, their bloodline factor tech was far more refined than Germa 66’s. It could accurately adjust and improve the genes of living beings.
Their bio-engineering had also reached a master level, allowing different species’ traits to be rged perfectly to create new, powerful lifeforms.
The entire island was surrounded by a full-coverage central air system.
No matter where you were, the temperature was always comfortable.
The clouds in the sky weren’t natural either—they were made by a special machine called "Yuntai." These clouds could change into many shapes, giving the island a dreamy, otherworldly vibe.
The island could even produce man-made diamonds that were just as good as real ones.
On top of that, there was a strange green blood called "Green Blood." It held mysterious power and was once part of the Lunarian race’s divine legacy.
There were also Authority Chips, artificial Devil Fruits, sea beast weapons, and more.
From biology to physics, from Devil Fruit developnt to new weapon designs, from uncovering the truth of history to dical breakthroughs—
Everything on Egghead was way ahead of its ti.
According to Vegapunk, all these "amazing" inventions had already existed over 800 years ago.
He was just recreating them based on the notes and tech that had been passed down.
A whole day flew by as everyone explored the island, but even so, they still felt like they hadn’t seen enough—there were just too many strange and exciting things to discover.
But that had to wait, because Vegapunk had just helped Kuma regain his consciousness.
The group headed to Lab A on the second floor, but when they got there, they only saw Vegapunk and mbers of the Bonney Pirates. Kuma and Bonney were still inside the lab.
"Why haven’t they co out?" Ryuen asked Vegapunk.
"They’ve been apart for so long—it’s only natural a father and daughter would need so ti to catch up. Once they’re done talking, they’ll co out," Vegapunk said, barely able to hide his joy.
The two of them could finally live together again.
Everyone understood.
Right now, inside the lab, Kuma and Bonney were surely lost in the happiness of their reunion.
All those years apart filled with longing, and now that they were together again, there must be so much they wanted to say to each other.
Maybe from this mont on, they’d begin a brand new life—never to be separated again.
"Hmm~"
"We’ve already done what we promised Bonney. Now it’s ti to get back to our own plans. Vegapunk, I’m guessing by now you’ve figured out what Pythagoras and the others are working on, right?" Ryuen asked, shifting the topic.
"Yeah,"
"I’ve seen it all through the ’Punk Records.’ And from what I can tell, it really is a solid plan," Vegapunk replied with a nod.
Just then, the lab door opened.
Kuma and Bonney walked out, faces full of smiles. Their happiness was obvious to everyone.
"Ryuen, everyone in the Dream Team—thank you so, so much!"
"If it weren’t for all your help, Kuma’s mind might’ve stayed trapped forever, never waking up again."
"I don’t even know how to repay you. I’m truly grateful!" Bonney was clearly overwheld, her eyes shimring with tears.
After all she had been through, she had finally found her father again.
Kuma, calm and gentle, spoke in a steady and grateful voice:
"Mr. Ryuen, and all of you, I truly thank you."
"Thank you for everything you’ve done for —and for Bonney. To be able to see my daughter again, and to be together like this... it’s all thanks to you."
Hearing this, Ryuen couldn’t help but throw his head back and laugh:
"Hahahaha~"
"Co on, don’t be so formal. It was no trouble at all. And honestly, seeing you two back together makes all of us genuinely happy too."
And he ant it. Ryuen was truly pleased.
After everything they’d gone through, he had finally managed to rewrite this father-daughter pair’s tragic fate.
Now, Kuma no longer had to suffer under the Celestial Dragons’ cruel control or be treated like a slave.
And Bonney had finally gotten what she wished for—she was back in her father’s warm embrace.
It was the perfect ending.
Everyone in the Dream Team felt the sa. They knew everything Kuma and Bonney had been through, and seeing them finally reunited like this filled their hearts with joy.
Even Kizaru and Sentomaru, standing off to the side, were moved.
Years ago, they had all shared so of the happiest, most unforgettable monts together.
There’s no doubt they’d already built a strong bond—closer than friends, more like family.
"Pururururu~"
...
All of a sudden—
Ti seed to freeze for a mont.
Everyone turned their eyes to Kizaru, each with a look of surprise and confusion.
It was Kizaru’s Den Den Mushi ringing.
And sohow, a quiet, uneasy feeling spread through the room, like a sign that sothing bad was about to happen.
Kizaru slowly reached into his pocket, pulled out the Den Den Mushi, and lazily said, "Moshi moshi~"
This ti, he didn’t fumble around like usual. He answered the call right away.
"Borsalino, what’s the current situation? We just got word—Saint Saturn, one of the Five Elders, has left Mary Geoise. He’s taken five Marine Vice Admirals with him, and they’re heading straight for Egghead Island."
It was Vice Admiral Tsuru’s voice coming through the Den Den Mushi.
Kizaru glanced at Ryuen and Vegapunk, then said, "I guess it’s taken care of. They already took that thing. The reason the Five Elders are coming here must be sothing else."
"Sothing else..." Vice Admiral Tsuru looked confused.
"It’s like this—Vegapunk’s clone, York, betrayed us. He told the Five Elders that the Mother Fla is complete. And now York..." Kizaru explained what happened with York.
"That’s going to be a bit of a problem..." Vice Admiral Tsuru looked worried.
Ryuen wasn’t worried at all. The only reason Saturn was coming to Egghead Island was because they couldn’t get in touch with York.
Ryuen had already prepared for Saturn’s visit. This ti, he planned to take him out right here on Egghead.
