"Lieutenant Commander Lamy, see, I was right, this kid can handle it!" Captain Hobart couldn't hide his smugness. But he was actually quite surprised because Ryuen's strength exceeded his expectations.
"Yes, Captain Hobart, he is indeed quite strong. But Captain Hobart, we still need to rescue Marino." Lieutenant Commander Rami's face remained cold.
As a Lieutenant Commander of Marine Headquarters, Marino wasn't soone their Loguetown base could handle, otherwise, Hobart wouldn't have let Marino do evil for so long.
"You're right, I almost forgot, thanks for the reminder, Lieutenant Commander Lamy." With Lamy's reminder, Hobart realized they still needed to find Marino, or else Marino's backers would co after him.
Hobart imdiately ordered the Marine warship to retrieve Marino, and he also locked up Marino's team of Marines in the base's prison. If he couldn't deal with Marino, he could at least deal with these Marines.
He took this opportunity to cut off Marino's wings in Loguetown.
By now, it was completely dark.
In a large bed room at the inn, little Nami's face was filled with uncontrollable excitent.
That was a Marine Lieutenant Commander, and Ryuen had dealt with him so easily. Now she had a better understanding of Ryuen's strength.
"Alright, Nami, even though I'm strong and can protect you, you still need to keep training." Ryuen looked at Nami's excited face and knew what she was thinking.

"I know, I'll keep training. By the way, Ryuen, do you think that loudmouth will find out about us?" Nami thought that Captain Hobart was Marino's superior, so he must know what Marino had been doing.
So when Marino ca to cause trouble, Nami thought Hobart might already know they took Bart's treasure.
"Don't worry, we're leaving tomorrow anyway. And as long as he doesn't know it was us who sneaked into the Marine base, we're fine." Ryuen replied casually.
"Yeah, you're right. It's been a busy day, I'm so tired. Ryuen, I'm going to sleep!" Nami yawned and walked towards the bed.
"Nami, you haven't taken a bath yet!"

"I'll take one when I wake up tomorrow!"

The next morning, Ryuen and Nami woke up early.
They had already explored Loguetown, so they wanted to return to Cocoyasi Village early to avoid any trouble from Captain Hobart.
After leaving the inn, the two kids headed straight to the breakfast street and ate their fill. Nami also went to the bar to buy a lot of wine to take back for Bellere and Genzo.

A few minutes later, in the hills behind Loguetown, Nami was already skillfully lying on Ryuen's back, who had transford into his full beast form.
"Hold on tight, Nami, I'm taking off!"
"Okay, I'm holding on tight!"
The next mont, with a flap of Ryuen's wings, they soared into the sky with a "whoosh"!
In the Marine base, Captain Hobart, who had just finished breakfast, seed to sense sothing. He looked up at the sky and saw a flash of a fiery red figure.
It wasn't until they flew out of the Marine base's jurisdiction that Ryuen began to lower his altitude and speed. This was at Nami's request, as she wanted to feel the climate closer to the sea.
Ryuen flew very slowly, skimming the surface of the sea, while Nami sat steadily on his back, holding a notebook and writing and drawing continuously.
But the peaceful scene was soon interrupted by the sound of cannon fire. Nami quickly put away her notebook when she heard the explosions.
"Ryuen, I heard explosions. Do you think it's pirates?" Nami asked curiously, looking in the direction of the sound.
"Probably. At sea, it's either pirates or Marines fighting. Let's go check it out. We haven't seen any pirates on our two trips out to sea yet." With that, Ryuen changed direction and flew towards the explosions.
Nami held onto Ryuen a bit tighter, her face showing a hint of excitent. She knew about pirates, but had never seen them before.
It didn't take long for them to reach the battle area. In front of them was a dium-sized pirate ship attacking a rchant ship!
And they recognized the rchant ship!
"Ryuen, it's Captain Gulachi and his crew! What should we do?" Nami asked anxiously.
She imdiately recognized the rchant ship's captain as Gulachi, the rchant from their Cocoyasi Village.
Gulachi was a kind-hearted rchant who transported goods from other islands to Cocoyasi Village and sold them at very low prices, making him very popular among the villagers.
"Nami, don't worry. The pirates haven't boarded Captain Gulachi's ship yet. You go back to the alternate space, and I'll take care of the pirate ship!" Ryuen said calmly.
"Okay! I'm going in now." Nami knew she couldn't help at the mont, so she opened the space door and went inside.
After Nami entered the alternate space, Ryuen began to lower his altitude, and his body started to emit intense flas.
"A phoenix... it's a phoenix!"
"Captain! It's coming at us! What do we do?"
On the pirate ship, all the pirates noticed the fiery phoenix in the sky and clearly felt that its target was their ship!
"Captain Gulachi, it's really a phoenix! What should we do?" The sailors and guards on the rchant ship were also terrified.
"Don't panic! It looks like the phoenix's target is their pirate ship. Don't attack it!" Captain Gulachi ordered sternly.

In an instant, all the pirates aid their guns at Ryuen, and a barrage of gunfire and cannon fire was directed at him!
But the next second, the pirates' faces showed shock as the bullets passed through the phoenix's body without causing any damage!
"Fire Emperor: teor!"
In the sky, Ryuen shouted, his wings flapping fiercely. A fireball with a diater of ten ters appeared and quickly descended towards the pirate ship!
"Quick... run!"
"Such a big fireball! Captain! It's going to hit our pirate ship!"
"Damn it!"
"Boom!!"
"Ah!"
"Help!"
"It's so hot! Captain, save !"
Amidst the terrified curses, Ryuen's fireball hit the pirate ship directly, instantly blowing it apart!
On the rchant ship, everyone was dumbfounded by what they saw.
"Captain Gulachi... did that phoenix just talk..." a sailor asked, his voice trembling.
"Idiot! Don't talk nonsense!" Captain Gulachi scolded.
Captain Gulachi now understood that the phoenix that appeared was a legendary devil fruit user!
He was afraid that his crew would anger this powerful devil fruit user, which would bring disaster upon them.
But when they looked up again, the phoenix was already gone!
