At the port city of Nanohana.
This is Alabasta's largest port city. Narohara is famous for its perfu, and the port is always bustling with rchant ships.
This is a country where even a piece of cloth on your head feels essential!
"So, this is an Alabasta city?"
"It's so lively~~~"
"No wonder it's known for perfu; even the air slls enchanting."
~~~~~~
Before the Dream Ship even docked at the port, several girls couldn't help but marvel at the sights.
"Isn't there supposed to be a rebellion happening here? It doesn't look like this place is affected at all~~~" Daisy said, eyeing the bustling port with so confusion.
"It's probably because this place is near the sea. The people here always find ways to purify seawater into freshwater," Nojiko said absentmindedly, as if talking to herself.
The events here were so serious they made it into Morgans' newspaper.
The paper reported that Alabasta had been in a state of drought for the past two years.
It also revealed an incident where the king of Alabasta used forbidden Dance Powder in the capital, Alubarna, to ensure a steady water supply.
Dance Powder, when burned, produces a unique mist that reacts with water molecules in the air, causing rainfall.
However, the downside is that using Dance Powder makes neighboring cities drier and drier.
In short, Dance Powder essentially steals rain from other cities.
For the past two years, only Alubarna has had rain, while the other cities have beco increasingly parched.
This led to a rebellion, with Koza as the leader of the rebel army, repeatedly launching attacks on Alubarna.
But lacking food and weapons, they failed each ti.
This was the story reported in the latest newspapers. Morgans, being the world's top information broker, surely knew the truth but only reported the surface events.
Nojiko had spaced out because it reminded her of her and Nami's ho country, which had been destroyed by rebellion.
She was older than Nami and still had so mories of that ti.
So hearing about Alabasta's situation brought back many feelings.
"Nojiko, what's wrong? What are you thinking about?" Anya asked with concern, noticing Nojiko's distracted look.
"Huh?"
"Oh, nothing~~~"
"By the way, look, the clothes here seem pretty nice. How about we go shopping?" Nojiko suggested after snapping out of it.
"Huh?"
"That's a great idea! As your captain, I'll join you all and help carry your bags!" Ryuen suddenly exclaid with excitent.
Alabasta's signature dancer outfits!
"Heh~"
Hehe~"
"Hahaha~~~"
The Dream Ship had already docked, and the girls walked past Ryuen with cold chuckles.
"Huh?"
"Not even free labor?" Ryuen was montarily stunned.
"Hey!"
"You're all getting cocky now~~~" He quickly chased after them.
anwhile, Hog stayed back to lower the anchor. After a long pause, he finally left the ship as well.
~~~~~~
Walking through the lively streets of Nanohana City, a faint hint of perfu wafted through the air.
Ryuen felt like they had stepped into the Middle East!
"Huh?"
"Ladies, there's a fashion shop over there. Let's check it out!" Anya, the little chef, excitedly pointed at a colorful store.
"Looks pretty nice~~~"
"Let's hurry in. Maybe they're having a sale!" Nami's eyes lit up as she looked at the shop, sensing a mysterious energy awakening inside her.
"Ahem~~~"
"Well, captain, dear brothers, the shop is full of won's stuff. You'd better do sothing else!" Leah cleared her throat and said with mock seriousness.
"Exactly! You two should leave!" Daisy waved dismissively at Ryuen and Hog.
Then, the six won walked into the shop.
A gust of wind swept through. In this scorching city, Ryuen and Hog suddenly felt a chill.
"ε=(′ο`*))) Sigh."
"Forget it, Hog. Let's find a restaurant and grab so food," Ryuen said with a sigh.
He had just lost a golden opportunity!
"Alright!"
"Let's go!" Hog replied earnestly.
He had been hungry for a while. Now that food was ntioned, he quickly forgot about being abandoned by his sister.
The two walked through the bustling streets, searching for a restaurant.
"Oh?"
"Hey there, young man. You look unfamiliar. Is this your first ti in Alabasta?" Suddenly, the fruit vendor greeted Ryuen enthusiastically.
"Co on, take a look! These are golden apples!"
One bite of a golden apple will let you live for a thousand years!
Ryuen and Hog ignored the fruit vendor. They glanced at him briefly and kept walking.
But the vendor blocked Ryuen's way and leaned in, pitching his goods with a serious expression:
"Wait, let tell you sothing—this is an incredible treasure I discovered inside so ancient ruins. A golden apple of dreams that can make you live for a thousand years with just one bite!"
"Oh?"
"But, sir, you look pretty old. You're almost at the end of your life, aren't you? Why don't you eat this golden apple yourself?" Ryuen stopped and casually asked.
"Ahhh... well... about that..." The vendor suddenly looked awkward.
"Hahaha!"
"Sir, I co from a province where fruits cost 10 Berry for three pounds! You can't fool with this!" Ryuen burst into laughter.
Hog, standing to the side, couldn't help but grin. He thought to himself, *This vendor really doesn't know who he's dealing with.*
But in the next mont, Ryuen's laughter stopped abruptly.
"Ahem..."
"Uh, so, how much for all the fruits on your stand?" Ryuen cleared his throat and asked.
The vendor's eyes lit up, sensing an opportunity.
"Young man, let tell you, my fruits are the cheapest around! For just 50,000 Berry, you can take everything here."
"How about it? Isn't that a great deal?"
"Only 50,000 Berry? That's really cheap! Here you go, sir—50,000 Berry. All the fruits on your stand are mine now," Ryuen said, handing over the money without hesitation.
"Thank you, young man! Thank you! All these fruits are yours now—no takebacks!" The vendor quickly grabbed the money, worried Ryuen might change his mind.
"Hahaha!"
"No takebacks, no takebacks—it's a deal!" Ryuen imdiately started packing up all the fruits himself, including one with strange, swirling patterns.
