Chapter 302: Anything You Say

Due to the matter being extrely urgent, Lu Mingshu entered the Heavenly Wheel as soon as she woke up.

“Xiao Sang is there a spell that works like this...?” She told Xiao Sang all about the barrier.

“According to your description, it indeed resembles a kind of imprisoning spell,” Xiao Sang answered.

“Is there any way to break the spell?”

“You’ll have to find out on your own.”

As expected, Xiao Sang had always been like this, answering all her questions but leaving it to her when it ca to the thing that actually mattered. Otherwise, what was the use of the points?

Lu Mingshu entered the forum in the Heavenly Wheel. She put up the task and hesitated for a mont. In order to speed things up, she decided to set the reward at twenty points.

Twenty points was not a small amount, so a wizard contacted her within no ti.

“Sir, I’ll make it clear: you’ll only get your reward if you manage to break the spell.”

“No problem,” the other party agreed happily. What Lu Mingshu said was already an unspoken rule in the forum. “Describe the spell you want to break and I’ll see what I can do.”

“Sure.” Lu Mingshu described everything in detail, including her guesses and the other drug n’s failed escape plan.

When she finished, the wizard paused for a mont before replying to her, “It is indeed an imprisoning spell array. It is special on its own, but based on your description, there should be different overlapping things.”

“Overlapping?”

“Right. According to what you said, the master of the array can sense it imdiately when sothing’s out of place. This is obviously in another category of spells.”

“What do you an?”

“Miss, does your world have anything like instinctive or intuitive abilities?”

“You an his instinctive power overlaps with the spell?” Lu Mingshu understood him imdiately.

“The master will know when there’s sothing happening, but he doesn’t know exactly what. And the further you are, the lesser the restriction. Isn’t it similar to intuition?”

Lu Mingshu tried to recall. That was indeed the situation. When she and Xie Lianzhen were in the lab, they could only communicate by Dream ssenger, but in the cell, she could speak as she wanted.

“Are you saying that the barrier and his intuition power are two separate issues?”

“Yes. From what you said, the master’s cultivation should be high enough for him to have such a strong intuition power.”

“So there’s no solution to it?”

She could hear the other party laughing sowhat arrogantly. “He’s not the only one who knows how to cast a spell. There are so many spells that are made to disrupt intuition powers, it’s nothing difficult.”

Lu Mingshu understood him imdiately. “What you an is to alter his spells?”

“Right. The spell that he cast is a normal one. The world you are in doesn’t have many powerful wizards, so he has to use external energy to power it. Since the spell requires external energy for support, you just need to be observant. Let teach you how to alter it.”

...

It seed like the Drug Lord’s water dragon tornado wasn’t working now. A few days had passed, and yet there weren’t any new drug n. And with Lu Mingshu and Xie Lianzhen being missing for such a long ti, there was surely sothing going on.

The next day, Lu Mingshu lent Xie Lianzhen the Transformation of Bones, and as expected, the next experint went well.

This put the Drug Lord on cloud nine. My thod works. Both succeeded!

Lu Mingshu looked at him emotionlessly, while Xie Lianzhen had an unfathomable smile.

When night fell, Lu Mingshu was drawn into a dream again.

“Did you make any progress?”

“I have sothing here.”

Both of them spoke at the sa ti.

Xie Lianzhen burst out into laughter. “You go first.”

Lu Mingshu rolled her eyes and ignored him. What’s so funny about that? “The barrier should be an imprisoning spell array. I roughly have the outline, we only need a few more details and I can alter the spell. Not only can we break out, but we can also use the spell to prevent the Drug Lord from noticing. However, we need the help of others. Two of us aren’t enough.”

“You’re fast!” Xie Lianzhen gasped. “I only figured out where he hid his treasure, but I still know nothing about the traps or anything else.”

“Then what do you an by ‘I have sothing here’?”

Xie Lianzhen coughed and sounded serious. “You doing the experint gave the Drug Lord a misconception that his thods are not only not poisonous but that they benefit one’s body.”

“And?”

“At first, I volunteered to let him experint on so that he’d focus on , and we could drag things out. If we had different results, we would gain even more ti. But now, the technique you gave made my body immune to the poison.”

Lu Mingshu understood him imdiately. “You want to mislead the Drug Lord with this chance?”

“Yes! Make him believe that he is successful.”

“But,” Lu Mingshu furrowed her eyebrows, “What if he experints on others and the results are different?”

Xie Lianzhen shook his head firmly. “He won’t. I think you can tell by now that the Drug Lord is not a qualified pharmacologist. He wouldn’t have even thought about doing a comparison in the first place if I didn’t remind him. Now, he’s complacent. We only need to flatter him a bit more, and with our successful results, he will only think that he’s outstanding.”

The results the Drug Lord had gotten for the past few experints with them showed a high success rate.

“From what I know, all these experints are to help him breakthrough since he isn’t talented, to begin with. So, he is now developing a dication that can help him breakthrough and beco an elite. If everything goes well, he will use it on himself.”

Xie Lianzhen had already made it so clear, so how could Lu Mingshu not get it? The Drug Lord’s experint was actually very questionable and problematic. A normal human couldn’t take that much poison. However, seeing them both fine and kicking, the Drug Lord would believe that it was successful and use it himself. In the end...

An effortless victory.

“We can’t put all our hope on that.” Lu Mingshu humd. “Let’s act out both plans at the sa ti.”

“You’re indeed thoughtful.” Xie Lianzhen looked at her, full of tender feelings. “I’ll think of sothing in the cell. The others are not valuable to him anymore, and he’s in a good mood. We’ll most likely succeed.”

Lu Mingshu had goosebumps at how he was staring at her. Flirting here, there, and everywhere. Is this the real poison?

But Xie Lianzhen didn’t stop. After that, he called for her softly, “Mingshu...”

Lu Mingshu gritted her teeth and flared up. “Gentleman Lianzhen, we aren’t that close!” Why the hell are you calling like that?

Xie Lianzhen blinked his eyes and stared at her. “Anything you say, dear.”

“...” Lu Mingshu mouthed a few curses words. I shall not waste my breath on disgusting people.
