Chapter 271: The Map
As for lying to them with a fake map, Lu Mingshu thought it was highly improbable.
Yan Fei was going in together with them to save soone who was very important to them. Showing them a fake map would not benefit him.
Unless this whole story of saving the person was all made up just to trick them here.
But what would be the point of that?
The trio was poor in the eyes of this world’s cultivators. They did not have any powerful spirit weapons or magical stuff or any special pills. All they had was their basic weapons.
Hearing her, Yan Fei and Su Ze exchanged glances. They couldn’t tell if it was Lu Mingshu who was wrong or the map.
“Erm, Miss Lu...”
“You better believe her words,” Ling Wuxia interrupted. “I’m not going to die with any of you.”
Lu Mingshu turned to Ling Wuxia in surprise. She’s supporting ?
Receiving Lu Mingshu’s glance, Ling Wuxia huffed.
She wasn’t an idiot. No matter whether it was during the Qilin Festival or in the small house, she could tell that Lu Mingshu’s strength and ability were there. Ling Wuxia may have been a hypocrite, but she knew true martial arts talent when she saw it.
These past few days, she was recalling what happened ever since they arrived. She didn’t leave out a single detail, and she was shocked at Lu Mingshu’s ability to adapt to changes.

Yan Fei looked over to Su Ze before turning to Lu Mingshu. “Miss Lu, what do you an by it doesn’t match with the data? Can you be more specific?”
“Do you have a pen?”
Su Ze imdiately passed her a pen.
Lu Ming took out so white paper and started drawing on it.
Her picture was a bit weird. At first glance, the lines were ssy, but looking at it closely, it seed like it was right in front of them.
“Look at the drawing. With the data given on the map, the shape is wrong.” She then changed her style of drawing. “Pretend that it’s a mistake, let’s brush it up, and it will end up like this...”
After she finished drawing, Su Ze’s eyes widened at the drawing. “Here... a huge part is gone.”
Lu Mingshu nodded. “According to what you said, they have cast so spells inside, which would make things even worse. If we were to go on like this, we would be trapped inside.”
Yan Fei and Su Ze saw fear in each other’s eyes.
They had put in their blood, sweat, and tears for this map, and it turned out to have a huge defect. If they were to carry out the plan as originally intended, not only would they not save the person they wanted to save, they would go to heaven together.
“Miss Lu.” Yan Fei looked at her sternly. “We have no ti to get a new map.”
“Do you want us to die with you? Dream on.” Zhou Ruying rolled her eyes. “If not for your conditions, I wouldn’t have even stayed in the first place!”
“I have an idea,” Lu Mingshu said softly.
The Su Ze pair stared at her eagerly.
“I don’t think you only have one spy in the building, right? Let them draw what they see every day, and we can piece them together.”
“Erm...” Su Ze glanced over at Yan Fei. “What do you think?”
Lu Mingshu shrugged and smiled. “Just a suggestion. Take it or not, it’s not my problem anyways.”
Seeing their faces, Ling Wuxia stood up and tidied her clothes. “Well, we are done for today. Tell us when you have made up your minds.”

Not even two days had passed, and the pair invited them over again.
“They seem desperate,” Lu Mingshu whispered.
“Yeah, maybe there’s so factors forcing them to do so.” Zhou Ruying smirked. “More money for us, heh!”
Ling Wuxia nodded in agreent.
“This is the maps we have drawn out.”
As soon as they arrived, Su Ze scrambled to get the maps out and placed them in front of the Lu Mingshu trio.
The drawings were mostly simple. One could only figure out the rough outlines.
Lu Mingshu said nothing and examined them closely one by one.
“I’m sorry, none of them can draw....” Yan Fei looked apologetic.
“It’s fine.” Lu Mingshu stared at the maps intensely.
While she was looking, Zhou Ruying and Ling Wuxia sat aside quietly.
Yan Fei and Su Ze fidgeted in their chairs anxiously.
If this doesn’t work, then they won’t help us anymore, right? Without the trio and an incomplete picture of the structure inside, it would be hard for them to get soone out. They would have wasted twenty years hiding, so neither of them were willing to give up just like that.
Half an hour passed by.
Lu Mingshu put down the drawings and started sketching on a new sheet of paper.
Yan Fei and Su Ze hurried over.
Lu Mingshu could draw very fast. In the blink of an eye, a scene appeared in front of them.
“Nice!” Su Ze clapped. “It’s like I’m seeing it with my own eyes!”
After Lu Mingshu made the finishing touches, she turned to the two of them. “If this map is accurate, you will have to change all your plans.”
“Miss Lu, are you sure it’s correct?” Yan Fei raised his eyebrows in suspicion.
“Of course it includes so imagination, but I am ninety-five per cent sure that it is accurate,” Lu Mingshu replied frankly.
Ninety-five per cent was a pretty amazing number. Even an actual map may not have ninety-five per cent accuracy.
“Okay,” Yan Fei said softly. “We’ll plan again and make the last preparations. If everything goes well, we will do it after three days. This is our last chance; I’m afraid the other Solid Pellet Realms may co back if we continue dragging things out.”
“Hey, hang on.” Before they left, Zhou Ruying went over to Su Ze and Yan Fei, grinning happily. “This doesn’t count as part of our original deal, right?”
Su Ze understood her imdiately and took out a pouch. “Thank you for your trouble, Misses. Please accept this as a thank you gift.”
As Zhou Ruying went to take the money pouch, Lu Mingshu reached out faster and grabbed it. “You’re welco. We will take our leave now. I hope everything goes well.”

As soon as they got out of the restaurant, Zhou Ruying started yelling at Lu Mingshu. “Such a petty bitch!”
“I did the job, so I should take it! You have a problem with that?” Lu Mingshu side-eyed her. “Get it yourself if you’re capable!”
Zhou Ruying stomped and threw her dirty glances.
Ling Wuxia was surprisingly quiet today. She didn’t even pay attention to them.
“Eh, will she drag us down?” Zhou Ruying couldn’t contain her curiosity.
Looking at Ling Wuxia, Lu Mingshu shook her head. “No, she has such a great life back ho, so she treasures her life more than us.”
“But she’s too quiet today!”
“Maybe sothing happened to her?” Lu Mingshu said and walked off.
Did sothing happen? What could happen to Ling Wuxia? Zhou Ruying shook her head and started whistling. This girl is arrogant anyway, she deserves it.
