"Phantom Rebirth: The Last White Raven’s Path to the Ultimate Assassin" Chapter 364: Clash of Steel and Storm
The Thunderous Battlefield
The sound of clashing steel reverberated across the tumultuous seas. Raven's Perch creaked and groaned under the strain of battle, its sails still catching the wind as pirates sward its deck. The storm above seed to rage in tune with the intensity of the fight, flashes of lightning illuminating the chaos below.
Seraphis stood firm, her eyes locked on Captain Cutlass, who was a whirlwind of motion. His sword was an extension of his will, cutting through the air with devastating force. His crew of pirates, snarling and shouting, pressed forward, weapons raised to strike down anyone in their path.
"You ain't so bad, Seraphis!" Captain Cutlass yelled, his voice booming over the din of battle. "You fight like a beast, but let's see if ya can handle this!"
His words were followed by a savage roar as he surged forward, his sword flashing with a deadly arc aid directly for Seraphis. She t him head-on, her daggers flashing in the dark, her mana barrier crackling with energy. The ground beneath her seed to vibrate as her barrier shimred, protecting her from the most brutal of attacks. But she knew—Cutlass was no ordinary opponent.
A Dance of Blades
Their swords t with a clash that rang through the air. Seraphis felt the shockwave of Cutlass’s strength, but she stood her ground, twisting her body with the speed and grace of a deadly dancer. Her daggers parried his strikes, and her barrier shimred brightly, deflecting a slash aid at her heart.
“Yer quick, girl. But not quick enough!” Cutlass growled, his voice low and gravelly. “Let’s see if ya can handle the storm I’m bringin’!”
He swung his sword in a wide arc, the blade whistling through the air as it closed in on Seraphis. But before it could reach her, she dodged to the side, her barrier deflecting the brunt of the attack. The pirate captain’s sword glanced off the magical shield, but his montum kept him coming, a feral grin on his face.
Seraphis didn’t give him a chance to recover. "Not fast enough," she muttered under her breath, her voice cold. She thrust one of her daggers into his side, but Cutlass, always unpredictable, twisted and avoided the worst of it.
The Pirate's Challenge
Cutlass staggered back slightly, his blood staining the deck beneath him, but he was far from done. “Ah, now that’s more like it,” he rasped, wiping the blood from his lip. “Ya got good, but I ain’t goin' down so easy!”
With a roar, he surged forward, his sword a blur of motion as it sought Seraphis’s throat. The pirates around them cheered, egging their captain on. They knew Cutlass was a force to be reckoned with, and the fierce battle between him and Seraphis had only intensified their bloodlust.
But Seraphis was ready. She saw the strike coming—a wide, downward slash aid at her head. Her eyes flashed with strategic calculation as she launched herself backward just in ti, her barrier keeping her protected while she pulled off an acrobatic roll, narrowly escaping Cutlass’s attack.
“Yer quick,” Cutlass shouted, his grin never fading. “But I think I can beat ya at yer own ga!”
He gestured to his crew, and with a roar, they surged forward, seeking to overwhelm Seraphis’s n. The pirates were relentless, their swords flashing, trying to pin down the captain’s foe. Seraphis’s barrier held strong as she made her way to the edge of the ship, watching as the scene unfolded in front of her.
A Piratical Sche
As Cutlass’s crew engaged Seraphis’s n, the pirate captain moved with purpose. His movents were calculated, his sword now a blurry extension of his will. He aid to wear Seraphis down, break her resolve, and make her question whether she could truly defeat him. He wasn’t foolish—he knew that defeating her wouldn’t co easy.
“Ya think ya can just take down, eh?” Cutlass yelled, his voice low but filled with nace. “Ya got the skills, no doubt. But it takes more than skill to take down a captain like . It takes heart!”
Seraphis’s white eyes glimred with determination, her grip tightening on her daggers. She had no intention of losing. She had never lost.
With a swift motion, she threw one of her crossbow bolts into the air, the magical arrow streaking through the air and piercing the heart of a pirate who had been bearing down on one of her n. The bolt was followed by a second, and then a third—Seraphis didn’t stop, her arrows cutting down enemy pirates one after another.
The wind picked up again, the storm swirling in a furious vortex as Seraphis activated Arrowstorm. In an instant, dozens of arrows rained down from the sky, all aid at Cutlass’s crew.
Seraphis’s barrier surrounded her like a shield as she continued to unleash her magic, her focus undivided. Every arrow was precise, a weapon of sheer destruction.
“Bliy! She ain’t holdin’ back!” one of Cutlass’s crew mbers shouted in surprise as they scrambled to avoid the barrage.
But Cutlass didn’t flinch. Instead, he laughed, a loud, booming sound that seed to shake the very air. “Aye, now this is more like it!” he shouted, raising his sword to et Seraphis’s oncoming storm.
The Barrier of Fate
The Arrowstorm rained down, but Cutlass was no ordinary pirate. He stepped forward, swinging his sword in a wide arc. The blade clashed against several arrows, deflecting them with a flick of his wrist, but the sheer number of arrows made his task difficult.
His n weren't as lucky. They took several hits, their screams lost amidst the chaos, as Seraphis’s arrows cut down their forces.
"Enough!" Cutlass yelled, his voice like thunder. "I ain't goin' down so easy!"
With a surge of power, he leapt at Seraphis, his sword aid straight for her chest. She raised her daggers to block, but the force of his strike was incredible. Her barrier flickered, just barely managing to hold against the power of his attack.
“Clever girl,” Cutlass muttered, his voice dripping with respect as he backpedaled, keeping a wary eye on Seraphis.
A Twist in the Tide
Seraphis gritted her teeth, her mind racing. “He’s stronger than I thought,” she muttered, her eyes glinting with focus. She had to think of a new strategy, and fast.
As Cutlass’s crew closed in, she activated another round of Arrowstorm, but this ti, she aid her arrows at the masts of the Bloody Maiden. She wasn’t just trying to defeat Cutlass’s n—she was aiming to cripple the ship itself. The more they could disable, the more they could gain the upper hand.
As arrows pierced the sails and shattered the ship’s rigging, Cutlass’s eyes narrowed. “So, you’re tryin’ to sink ship, eh? Not gonna happen, girl!” He roared, rallying his n to attack with renewed fury.
But Seraphis’s strategy was clear—she needed to force Cutlass into a corner, limit his movents, and eventually bring down his ship.
The storm overhead raged even harder, lightning flashing across the sky as if the gods themselves were watching the battle unfold.
The Final Confrontation Approaches
Seraphis’s n fought valiantly, their skills tested by the sheer brutality of Cutlass’s crew. Each clash of steel seed to echo across the waters, while the storm’s fury intensified around them. The Raven's Perch and the Bloody Maiden were locked in a deadly embrace—no quarter given, no rcy shown.
Seraphis knew the battle was far from over. She was locked in a dance with death, and she wouldn’t stop until Captain Cutlass was at her feet.
And Captain Cutlass? He grinned, his bloodlust growing. “I like this. A good fight… that’s what I’ve been lookin’ for!”
