The air was still.

Seraphis stepped outside the Raven Tower, the night air cool against her skin. The structure lood behind her, its black stone walls absorbing the moonlight, while the sigil of the White Raven glowed faintly above the entrance.

Yet, despite the fortress’s imposing presence, she knew it was not yet complete.

The Raven Guard patrolled the halls, silent and watchful, but the skies above remained vulnerable. A tower without eyes in the sky was a fortress only half-defended.

Tonight, she would change that.

Taking a deep breath, Seraphis strode forward, her long white hair flowing behind her like a spectral veil. She stepped onto the highest balcony, standing at the edge of the abyss, and cast her gaze toward the moonlit heavens.

The night stretched before her—a vast, endless expanse of blackness, studded with distant stars. But she was not alone beneath this sky.

Ravens always watched.

And tonight, she would summon them to her cause.

The Ritual Begins

Seraphis extended her hand, her fingers tracing invisible sigils into the air. Each motion carried weight, a whispered command carried on the wind.

Then, she spoke.

"Co to , keepers of the sky. Night’s ssengers, shadows on the wind. I call upon you, my ravens—answer !"

Her voice carried, not as a scream, but as an undeniable decree.

A stillness settled over the land. The air grew thick, charged with unseen energy.

And then, from the distant trees, from the mountains, from the darkened horizon, they ca.

The Arrival of the Ravens

The silence shattered as the night ca alive with the beating of countless wings.

From every direction, they flew—hundreds of black-feathered bodies, their eyes gleaming like shards of obsidian. The sky twisted with motion as the storm of wings gathered, circling above the tower in a great, spiraling vortex.

The sheer weight of their presence sent a shiver through the air, the world itself seeming to tremble beneath their numbers.

Seraphis watched as they ford a cyclone of living darkness, their cries a chorus that echoed across the valley.

She lifted her chin, unshaken.

"You have co," she murmured, her white eyes glowing in the moonlight. "Now, I offer you a place within my domain."

The ravens cawed, their voices weaving into an eerie harmony, as if awaiting her command.

She raised both hands and began the binding.

Forging the Skybound Pact

With slow, deliberate movents, she ford sigils in the air, golden light tracing her fingertips. The energy pulsed outward, reaching toward the gathered flock, weaving around them like invisible chains.

"You shall be the sentinels of the Raven Tower. The eyes that watch from above, the wings that never tire. No enemy shall pass unseen. No threat shall take flight without your notice."

A surge of arcane power erupted from her core, sending a shockwave through the air. The ravens shrieked as the magic washed over them, their bodies trembling, their eyes burning with newfound brilliance.

And then—it was done.

A silent understanding settled between them, an oath that bound them to this land.

These were no longer ordinary birds. They were skybound guardians, an extension of the Raven Tower itself.

Seraphis lowered her hands, her voice steady.

"Now, take your positions. Watch the skies. Guard this fortress, and let no foe escape your sight."

With a final, resounding cry, the ravens scattered—so perching on the tower’s tallest spires, others vanishing into the night, taking their posts among the clouds.

The Raven Tower was now fully protected—both on land and in the heavens.

Seraphis turned away, her task complete.

The era of the White Raven had truly begun.
