Chapter 175: Spy (part 2)
At this ti, several hours had passed since he left the Clock Tower, and it was already dark.
Mathison was not alone in the car.
On the passenger side of the SUV sat a man whose face was covered with a bandage to prevent his real face from being seen.
“Is this okay?”
Mathison asked suddenly, his head remained motionless, and his eyes were always fixed on the road.
“No problem, since they ignored your number one character, it ans that our plan will be successful.”
The thick voice of the masked man ca from the side. He heaved a small sigh, his tone filled with emotion.

Mathison’s mouth twitched slightly.

“It’s getting late, we have to hurry up.”
Mathison stepped on the accelerator to the bottom, and the speed quickly filled up.
“I don’t usually use transportation very much. I rarely hold the steering wheel once in a while, and it feels good.”
“Can’t you drive slower? It’s easy to get into trouble if you drive too fast!”
“I know, I know, don’t worry, sir, we’ll be at the station soon.”
Mathison driving an SUV into a bridge, driving farther and farther under the darkness…
Going back to Barbara.
“Barbara, they’ve all left, are we…”
“Co on!”
Pala took a quick turn around the makeshift base in the tunnel, where the two of them were the only ones left.
She believes that Barbara is definitely not an obedient baby, and the course of action to evacuate proposed by Batman, must have been for a reason.
Before Pala finished speaking, Barbara interrupted her directly.
“We can’t stay here!”
Barbara ran to the ergency escape route without looking back.
“Why are you in such a hurry?”
Pala chased after her dumbfounded.
“Barbara, there is an ergency escape route over there. Now that Bain’s people haven’t broken in, why are we running there?”
Hearing this, Barbara, who had already run halfway, suddenly stopped moving.
“Wrong!”
“How am I wrong?”
Pala’s mouth twitched.
“We can’t take the ergency escape route.”
Barbara muttered to herself.

Barbara did not respond directly to Pala’s question but instead asked a question.

Barbara spoke shockingly.
“What did you say!”
Pala covered her mouth.
“You heard that right, so I guess the ergency passage is likely to be rigged, and as long as we go there, we will fall into the trap.”
Barbara said cautiously.
“So, that’s why you’re leaving here as soon as they’re gone.”
Pala suddenly realized.
“It’s not too late, we have to get out of here as soon as possible.”
The two won stopped talking and ran towards the front passage again.
But unfortunately, they were still a step behind.
“Tack-tack…tack-tack…tack-tack…”
After running for a while, the two girls heard rapid footsteps.
The voices are cluttered and nurous.
“Soone is coming!”
Barbara and Pala looked at each other, and the two realised the sa thing.
Fortunately, there are many abandoned passages here, and they can find concealnt anyti, anywhere.
The first thing they did is to go into the abandoned channel pipe next to them.

Barbara observed the situation through the small mirror she carried with her.

These people are just ordinary thugs, not as powerful as Deadshot or Deathstroke.
