King Augustus himself, ended up showing up after Blake set up a transportation magic circle. When He ca through and saw the scene of a destroyed village and civilians who had been slain captured and sullied. He wondered what other unspeakable acts his son had been doing. He looked at his son who was half beaten to death and shook his head. He cast so healing magic to heal Prince Jasper enough so that he could at least speak.
Once Prince Jasper had even the slightest bit of ability to speak he instantly started telling tales. "Royal Father it was all that little bitch's fault! She even slandered the royal na by saying she was your daughter! Royal Father, quickly arrest her and toss her in the dungeon!"
Looking at his son who seed to be full of madness, made King Agustus let out a painful sigh. "Jasper! Do you think I am stupid? Each and everyone here are part of the squires three month training excursion. Blake, Sue, and Bridget are elite knights. Not to ntion Rose is part of the hidden guard, Starla cos from the Wymane family and Annelia cos from the very dedicated Longstone family and lastly the one you are accusing and passing your cris on to is your little sister who has such a sense of justice, that she will end up getting herself killed one day trying to save lives than daying from anything else.
"I already heard your whole conversation earlier. The words right from your mouth on how you were going to kill Alicia and cover up your cris. That was already an admission of guilt. Do you know the laws of this kingdom!?" King Augustus stared at Jasper, the rage in his eyes could not be masked. For him, it had been a long ti since he was this angry, and sadly what was going to co next had to be done no matter what.
Hearing King Agustus talk about laws, caused Prince Jasper's eyes to widen and panic filled his face. "No, Royal Father, it really was not ! It was that little bitch and her friends who did all this. I even ca to try to stop them!"
Even after everything King Augustus said Prince Jasper did not hear a word of it and still tried to beg, plead and place the cris of what had happened in this village on to Alicia and the rest. King Agustus raised his hand and slapped Prince Jasper sending him flying face first into the ground. "You dare continue to call your little sister a little bitch!? You dare to continue to pass your cris on to her? How stupid do you think I am!?" Taking a deep breath, a little sadness flashing through his eyes, King Agustus lets out a long sigh as he passed down the final verdict. "From this day forward, Jasper Alastine is guilty of atrocities against the citizens of the Alastine Kingdom. He is guilty of trying to fra a mber of the royal family and its subjects. Both cris are punishable by death! He will no longer be a prince of this Kingdom. He will have his na stripped from the family record and will be beheaded within a week's ti after a public trial is held. This verdict can not be overturned. The trial will be a display of the cris he has committed, to let the citizens of my Alastine Kingdom and the rats that hide in the darkest corners of my Alastine Kingdom, that even if you are a mber of the royal family, you will need to pay the price for harming its citizens!"
King Agustus waved his hand at the royal guards who had co with him and said: "Arrest him!"
Jasper suddenly let out a cackle of a laugh as he got up off the ground and charged at Alicia! "Hahaha! If I am to lose everything then I will take the little bitch with !"
He did not even get two steps before a sword hilt ca down on the back of Jasper's neck, knocking him out cold. King Augustus stood over Jasper's body, his face showing no emotion whatsoever. But Alicia could tell that he was hurting on the inside. She walked over to King Augustus and wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly. King Augustus, looked down at his little girl who was trying to comfort him and gave a pained smile. He dropped his sword and knelt down and hugged Alicia back. He did not want to kill his own son. But he had no choice. This event was not sothing that could be overlooked.
The knights finally rushed over and grabbed the unconscious Jasper and dragged him to the magic circle. Another group of knights moved throughout the village to start cleaning it up. The won and children that were being kidnaped would be taken to a new place where they could start anew. So of the ones who were abused would go to nunneries to help them overco the trauma.
Not many words were exchanged between King Augustus and Alicia. Alicia knew it was best to stay quiet in such a situation and to only give silent comfort. Alicia knew that in her path to becoming a knight, she would run into these kinds of situations a lot. It was an unavoidable outco. But today's event weighed heavily on her heart because it dealt with her new family. This day she would rember for the rest of her life.
