Asia felt today was a lucky day.

She had been exiled to Kuoh Town for saving a devil. At first, she had been nervous—after all, she knew her own clumsy nature. Sotis she could even manage a pratfall on flat ground.

Her worry wasn't about adjusting to a new environnt—it was whether she'd even arrive at Kuoh Town safely.

But it seed… she'd received the blessing of God after all.

Even though, unbeknownst to her, the God she worshipped was long gone.

Or perhaps... this adorable little creature beside her was God's blessing...

Indeed, when she was lost and couldn't find Kuoh Town, she encountered a very cute little animal.

She was instantly drawn in by it—and the little thing just wouldn't leave her side.

Even stranger, it seed to understand her.

Thanks to this little guy, she finally found her way to Kuoh Town.

And just when she was fretting about not finding a church, she ran into a kind red-haired older sister... Asia felt like this was the luckiest period of her life.

"Miss Rias, thank you so much!"

On the street, Asia bowed to the curvaceous red-haired girl beside her.

Then she folded her hands in prayer, wearing a sincere smile.

"See? As long as I pray sincerely, God will answer! Even though I've been expelled from the church, I keep eting kind people and good fortune... It must be God's grace. Thank You, Lord!"

Rias: "..."

There's literally a nun thanking God right in front of , a devil. What do I even say to that?

Fou: "..."

It was who brought you here, and you're thanking that God instead?

In truth, after learning about Asia from Raynare, Ren had sent Fou to look after the gullible girl... though part of it was just giving Fou an excuse to go out and play. Compared to Kuroka, who could leave at any ti, Fou was stuck playing mascot most of the ti.

Might as well enjoy the other world a bit.

With that in mind, Ren gave Fou a "mission" to justify her outing.

As it turned out, Fou did a great job finding and bonding with the girl.

After guiding Asia to Kuoh Town, Fou declared her mission complete—she'd now just stay by Asia's side and protect her. Whatever else the girl wanted to do was her own business.

And right when Asia was confused about her next steps, she t another troubled soul—Rias.

Truth be told, Rias wasn't sure if she was lucky or cursed.

A while ago, she had taken an interest in a human boy—Hyoudou Issei—who seed to house a Sacred Gear. But without her knowing, the boy was killed by fallen angels, and the Sacred Gear signal vanished with him.

Frustrated, she sent Akeno to investigate the fallen angels.

And now, a mysterious new powerhouse had suddenly appeared in Kuoh Town.

This forced Rias to contact her brother, Sirzechs.

Sirzechs advised her to pretend like nothing happened and simply watch anyone entering or leaving Kuoh. That level of powerhouse wasn't soone Rias should be poking around.

And today, Rias encountered Asia.

At first, she noticed her nun attire—then spotted the familiar creature beside her.

If mory served, that small animal belonged to the shopkeeper, Ren...

Then—

Rias watched Asia heal a wounded child using her Sacred Gear, Twilight Healing.

Instantly, Rias's eyes lit up.

That Sacred Gear had both high potential and strong utility!

So after only a mont of hesitation, she approached—and Asia quickly noticed her and asked for directions.

What made things awkward was that Asia was looking for a ruined church.

Kuoh was Rias's turf—how could she not know? That church had long been taken over by fallen angels.

Now this innocent nun wanted to walk into enemy territory. Rias's mind went wild with speculation.

A trap by the fallen angels? Or angels and fallen angels about to clash?

Or maybe they were all after that mysterious powerhouse?

No matter the outco, it was annoying for her as the area's manager.

So while doing her duty—and maybe hoping to "recruit" the nun—Rias started probing for Asia's intentions.

Asia wasn't a scher, and sensing no hostility from Rias, she explained everything.

Fou, watching this, couldn't help but roll her eyes. Seriously? Just casually admitting you saved a devil? What if she thought you were just so cringey teen with delusions?

Rias listened, saw the girl's sincere smile, and was genuinely moved.

"To stay so kind after all that... Asia, you're a good kid."

She could tell the girl wasn't lying.

Unless her mind gas were so deep that even Rias couldn't detect it… which, judging by her age, seed unlikely.

Asia blushed and looked down shyly.

"You must've had a rough past..." Rias said, patting her head.

Asia looked up, face even redder.

"Not really… I didn't have friends, but I could pray to God. And now… I t Fou. Fou's my first friend."

She hugged Fou tightly, rubbing her face against the fluffball.

Fou didn't resist at all.

Rias clicked her tongue. How do I poach such a devout girl?

She'd recruited so many familiars, but this was the first ti she felt stumped.

Still, Rias wasn't soone who gave up easily.

And frankly, she had a bad feeling—if Aisha went to the fallen angels, sothing might happen.

Would the fallen angels really accept soone with such deep faith? Yeah, no chance.

"Asia, it's getting late. You said you didn't know where the church was, right? I'll take you there."

"Really!? Thank you, Miss Rias!"

"Just call Rias. We're friends, aren't we?"

"Eh… we're… friends?"

Asia's eyes sparkled. Her adorable face and shining eyes caught Rias off guard.

"Of course."

"That's great… a new friend! I have another friend now!"

Asia gave her brightest smile yet and folded her hands.

"God, thank You for Your blessings! I made another new friend!"

Rias covered her face, a headache coming on.

This kid's only flaw is she prays way too much!

Asia… do you realize you absolutely cannot pray to God in front of a devil!?

Seriously… my head hurts…
