Chapter 947: Tis Of Peace

Unknowing that warfare was occuring within the Erald Realm, and unknowing that the confrontation between death and gold raged on without stop… Ti passed quickly for those living in peace.

Eleven years flew by for the people of the Peaceful Realm, no crisis had to be faced, no sudden death occurred, everything was just moving forward smoothly, old wounds remained, but they were being soothed every single day that passed.

The faces of most people did not change that much even during that ti, most were people of great power, and this caused them to seemingly remain perfectly youthful even as the years went on, really, those who were seeing change were the children, they were growing up at a steady pace.

When looking at her children, Helena still viewed them as the small baby that she had once held in her arms, little things that needed attention and affection, but now, her eldest was a twenty years old grown woman, and she looked a whole lot like Milo.

The eldest was still obsessed with swinging a sword, and spent a lot of ti with her unofficial aunt, Antieeld, in fact, Lizi truly admired the commandant and was doing a lot to resemble her…

Lizi was a tall and lean girl, having not inherited the advantageous shapes of her mother in the least, and neither had she worked toward attaining the bulky physique that both her parents had sported due to trying to look like Antieeld instead, and the woman with the eyepatch was on the more thin and flexible side of things in that departnt.

Her second daughter, Louizon was a whole more like her mother in comparison, be it in looks and otherwise, having had her inner mana flow naturally at a young age, Helena had had no other choice but to teach the girl how to wield magic.

Louizon had always been a bit mischievous, having a slight appetite for destruction, when she was a little child, that was alright, but as it turns out, she had not inherited the magical affinities of Helena or Milo, and instead had an affinity for blast magic, which in simple terms, was just an elent custom-built to cause explosions and destroy things without distinction.

So it was a good thing that Helena had taught her early-on, otherwise the results might have been catastrophic, but that was not to say that Louizin, now nineteen years old and technically an adult, could be fully trusted with that literal weapon.

Let’s just say that she would be more than happy to be given even the slightest of reasons to use magic, no matter the ti of day or the situation, quite a few wild predators had been turned into grueso fireworks because of that.

Alize was also nineteen years old, she looked a lot like Helena as well, but was a bit ek, usually sticking by one of her older sisters, this was partly because of the elent she had awakened, which whilst she practised diligently with it, she was not quite certain to like it, especially due to the fact that Alize also had a mana trait which cause all inner mana to innately be of that elent, which caused problems.

Indeed, Alize had a strong affinity for the charm elent, by itself it was no big deal, with the trait on top of that, it made it so she had a sort of aura of charm around her at all tis, which was more than a little inconvenient, as she just couldn’t interact with anyone that was unable to put up a mana resistance, otherwise anyone she spoke with would quickly grow enamored beyond reason…

So she mostly stuck to the sa people and avoided those that would be affected like the plague.

Zaya and Zally remained inseparable even now, the identical twins were now seventeen years old, but were still very cute with their red and blue ribbons to differentiate themselves, they too had proven themselves to have a good affinity for mana.

Like their older sister, they possessed an elent that differed from their parents, sporting the rare and powerful nature elent, which allowed them to perform a variety of things, but they mostly used it to make crops grow and rid them of diseases, or to manipulate the weather for the sa purpose of allowing things to grow in ideal conditions.

And lastly, Helena’s only son and youngest child, Griar was fourteen years old now, and let it be known that he did not look that age at all, he had clearly taken strongly after Milo and was already taller than one ter and eighty centiters, in fact, he looked nearly exactly like his father, the only difference being that he lacked the full beard, and had the sa dark blue eyes as his mother.

Today, that son of hers was trying to tell her sothing, looking absolutely ridiculous whilst nervous, but despite appearance, he was still like most fourteen year olds.

“What is it that you want to tell ? I am not going to be a grandmother, am I? I would be happy, but that would a bit early for you to be a-”

“No, nothing like that!” Griar defended himself, swallowing his saliva as he put on a serious expression.

“Mom, there is a girl that I like”

Helena leaned forward, finding this subject very interesting.

“You need so advice about won from your mother? You would probably be better off asking old Abraham about that…”

“No, not advices…”

“Is it Aldano?”

“No! It’s just… That she is not here”

“The girl that you like is not here?”

“She’s in the realm that I got stranded in eleven years ago” he blurted out, and just saw his mom give him the flattest of looks for a solid five seconds.

“Alright…” Helena didn’t question the fact that he was so starstruck by that girl that she had stuck with him for eleven whole years, she knew that one could not explain accurately why they liked soone so strongly “…But if she’s in another realm, why are you telling about her? It’s not like you can et her again and bring her ho, right?”

Griar exhaled strongly.

“Mom, I think that I can go back and forth between here and that realm, and I wanted to ask if I could go” he said.

Helena smiled.

“I obviously don’t want you to go into another realm where I can’t protect you, but it’s not like I can stop, can I? If that girl is so precious to you, then go, but please be careful, alright? And I hope that she isn’t too old for you!”

‘Just like your father, huh?’
