It wasn't much longer until Loimos found the last of what he had been searching for, returning to the now imnse platform built right near Belliste, it had basically beco another headquarters for the vanguard, and more precisely, a place where many researches were made on top of being the place all minor lords currently resided, recruited and trained soldiers.

As he did not hide himself in undead territory, a ripple of death force announced his arrival, but only the usual suspects were quick to go and seek him out without delay, the rest continuing their work, or whatever it may be that they were doing.

Ourlon in particular, was not currently looking over the training of his soldiers or elites, neither was he personally honing his combat skills, instead, the swordmaster carefully knocked upon a wooden door, a pleasantly lodious voice speaking words of death tongue nearly imdiately, inviting him in.

With one hand behind his back, he pushed open the door, which was a gorgeous bone white, although not the nicest shade of that particular colour Ourlon was going to see today…

Inside, there was a rather large office, which doubled as a library as countless copies of various books were neatly arranged by what they were about and organised in alphabetical order, and even though that was most certainly unnecessary, there was even a special ladder with wheels to reach even the most elevated tos.

Wood was the main component of nearly all furniture inside, the colours could appear as mismatches, and they were as the specificities of each material was prioritised over the overall looks, but this visual oversight only seed to add so charm, sohow.

Now, another thing to notice was the overabundance of undead vegetation, especially flowers, it was like this place had been left without attendance for years, allowing for the dead nature to establish its presence, there were even carpets of mushrooms growing directly upon the floorboards.

Yet, the growth and office environnt seed to ld harmoniously with one another.

Sitting behind the desk placed near the end of this room, a skeleton dressed in ample robes, an extra flap of fabric laid over the shoulders, one could only imagine just how much a skeletal figure would be floating inside such garnts.

Of course, it was Yuolrt, the carvings upon her two antlers illuminated with a pale glow, a green shine coming front he crystal that peered from in between the wide crack that split her skull into two parts, yet, not enough to truly detach them from one another.

As she often was, the druid was surrounded by books, all the while endlessly writing experint reports upon notebooks, scrolls and assembling encyclopaedias using the various faune and flora she and her troop created.

Creating records by hand with such slowness despite being a minor lord and thus capable of great speed even without being amongst the strongest of this lot, was a hobby she seed reluctant to part with.

"Hello Ourlon, what brings you here today? It's been a little while" spoke the druid, rising from her seat.

"I was just passing by, thought I should pay a visit to my fellows and see how everything was going, especially curious now since General Loimos just returned, it ans that we will probably soon depart for our individual missions" he responded, looking at the many flowers that were in vases.

"Are those gifts?" he eventually asked.

"Yes, I never imagined that my popularity would soar aeons after my death, but would you look at that, General Loimos's introduction of a new manner of undead creation seems to have given ideas to quite a lot of folks…"

"...Honestly, I didn't even realise there were so many people who knew , or where to find even, and they all had the bright idea of getting flowers, the improper thod of gathering them is one thing, plucking and making them into a bouquet without bringing the appropriate soil is another- But really, I already docunted them all, they're very pretty but I am druid first and foremost, you can't just go around, pick random flowers and expect to be impressed, that's literally my entire life and death right there" explained Yuolrt.

"Oh, but as far as preparations are going, everything is alright, thanks to General Loimos's presents, and my little druidlings were able to make great strides, our step-by-step exploration of Verdoyante should be go well"

"Are you sure? This continent is an unknown quantity, and being so far from the empire, in life-owned lands whilst stationed in a water-bound ans of transport… It is a bit worrying, you probably have the most perilous mission of us all" said Ourlon.

"Mmh, should be fine, maybe it is a bit dangerous, but it's not like I can't just be reford by The Graveyard if sothing happens, and anyways, my mission is to scout and analyse, not conquer the continent, I only need to discover Verdoyante's secrets" shrugging, the druid definitely did not seem at all concerned.

Which was a bit embarrassing to the swordsman, it felt a bit disrespectful as it looked like he was just underestimating a fellow minor lord.

"Well, in any case- Here" he finally brought the hand held behind his back forth, revealing a small pot filled with soil, upon which a singular flower, a vibrant blue spider lily-like one.

"Since you haven't gotten to explore the island where the gateway to the realm I have to conquer is, I got this one for you"

Yuolrt carefully grabbed the flowerpot, inspecting the plant with much interest, Ourlon, being a bit knowledgeable about how to properly pick a flower from spending ti against his will beside the druid in her greenhouses, had taken the proper steps to allow for the bloom to retain its life even after being taken into the miasma, allowing for proper inspection of its properties.

"That's so nice of you! Are you going to offer gifts to everyone or is it just ?" she asked, searching around for a good spot to place the pot.

"I wanted to get sothing for everyone, a little token of good luck- But I really only found sothing for you" he admitted.

"You couldn't find so sand to give to Ir'Houwl?"

"She is way too fast to get her hands on it before anyone else, there is none within reach that this sand connoisseur was not already put in a jar and lined in that atrociously long room, have you ever gone to her headquarters? There is sand everywhere, it's coarse and rough- It just gets everywhere, and I am fairly certain she has a heated sand-bath, I doubt anyone could surprise her with any sort of gift on the subject matter"

"Oh, Ourlon, I am sure she would appreciate the thought" Yuolrt chuckled as she finally set the pot down and walked back up to the swordsman.

"Thanks for the attention, but should I see it as a token of sothing other than good luck?"

"Who knows?" Ourlon evaded the question with the sa ease he would a blade and bid his goodbyes to the druid, once wishing good fortune in her future endeavours.
