The Erald Realm was a wonder of nature, like many other realms, it was basically a miniature world in its own rights, with its own rules and laws that differed from the main world, being naught but a floating mass of earth surrounded by an erald void, although significantly smaller than the main world, it was still an enormous place to explore.

Wavy plains of bright blue extending as far as the eye could see, fields of tall grass, forest of colourful trees, the majority of them blooming with a fiery orange colouration, and of course, the erald sun looming over in the sky, it was a strange thought for the people from beyond this place to think that this star actually had a mind of its own.

The people inhabiting this realm were also completely different from those the Tamarisian survivors had known, whether they were a sort of humans or sothing else entirely was unknown, their practices also sothing to behold, especially the beast worshippers who truly vyed to change their physical and even spiritual form.

Although there existed many lakes, rivers, ponds, forests, woods and small hills, the realm had no mountains, so moving around, even on foot was not too difficult, which was sothing the sun worshippers did not do much of, as they had no need to look for beasts to commune with, going for small walks at best.

For the outsiders however, exploring every nook and crannies was of great interest, if not simply to satisfy a curiosity, but to look for the unique things this small world had to offer, one of such nice discoveries was a small body of water that seed to never get dirty or lower in volu all the while always emitting steam, an indicator for the temperature of the water, and considering that the residents here were rather close to nature, they always preferred to just use what was available rather than build sothing to accomplish the sa task.

So despite their rather impressive architecture, be it incredibly tall tower that seed to be standing by sheer force of will, or compact towns decorated with intricate representations of creatures, no one had seen it fit to bother inventing a semblance of bathroom or even just a bath.

Why bother when the very land already had baths at the perfect temperature? It was a philosophy that could easily get in the way of technological progress, but it was not like they were lacking anything, food was abundant, the population was not growing too rapidly, there were no conflicts to destroy what had been created, their economy was basically nonexistent as well, the closest thing to one being barter happening here and there.

Truly, life seed so perfect that it felt bizarre, but complaining that a society was free of any problem and seed to work just fine even with a lacking technology and reliance on faith would just be odd.

After a long ti of living amongst the denizens here, everyone had adapted and learned to enjoy this existence, be it the warriors or civilians who had been saved alongside them, all were very much content, even the one’s still scarred by their confrontation with the dead, severely wounded both physically and ntally…

Still, slouched in the bubbling water, arms and face resting against the soft grass, the position of trees granting a perfect combination of shades and lighting, a certain huntress of vampires felt a bit thoughtful.

Wearing her glasses with the dark lenses flipped on for so reason, the entirety of her clothes and other personal belongings laying into a ssy pile just within arm’s reach, fiddling with it, Rummy looked at an unknown object wrapped it what appeared like thick bandages vibrant with life force, their pristine white surface adorned with a repeating pattern of runes and sigils, she had considered just getting rid of it at many points but had never done so, feeling like keeping it around was the best solution.

Still, to be safe, and also conceal that she, a death hunter, was in possession of such an item, Rummy had locked it within a potent life seal- Multiple layers of life seals actually, and kept it around, still rembering his words to her that day :

"In the event that your wish is also Death’s, I will allow you to live a while longer, in the event that it is not, take this and plead with Death in person"

Clearly, the forr option had lost its lustre as the massacre of all life on Tamaris clearly showed that thoughts of cohabitation did not dwell within Death, but the huntress had not taken the bet and tried the second option that had offered to her, viewing it as more of a figure of speech than anything else, but mostly because dying was not quite to her liking.

Especially now that she found herself in this realm, even if people could most definitely die here, death force was not sothing that seed to be capable of manifesting here, as they had their own sort of death and afterlife, separate from the one the undead served.

When soone passed away here, whatever might be the way they did so, they were broken down into so sorts of wisps of energy, entering a spirit life, these particles would then be fed into the environnt, only further bolstering the realm.

No corpses, no rot would occur, at least when it ca to the people, but even then, the corpses of creatures or plants would eventually be broken down in the sa way, only at a later ti.

Truly, there was no need to do anything with that thing Rummy had received from Loimos, in fact, many even considered the dead to be sothing of the past, whilst others were continuing to train everyday, simply unable to leave the fear behind.

Feeling pressed to grow stronger, it was the case of many people, but mostly of those who had directly faced off against the undead champion, Rummy had been in contact with him for a while, having gotten awfully close to death now that she thought about it, he had had a firm hold on her at one point even.

And while she had certainly felt dread once the putrid corpse dropped the act and revealed himself, nothing even remotely close to what they were experiencing.

Recurrent nightmares, uncontrollable shaking at the simple thought of him, phantom pain in the wounds he had left upon them, even if said injury had completely healed or when the lost limb had been replaced by the carver.

Rummy and the other death hunters had been facing off against a flood of death knights themselves, such undead beings were supposed to be rare but The Prince Of Death seed to be capable of assembling entire armies of them in just the snap of a finger, and that was before they took over the continent completely, who knew what sort of madness could have been pulled together now that the dead had free range to do whatever they wanted.

It was a frightening thought.

’None of my business though…’ as she closed her eyes, preparing to take a quick rest the sound of soone approaching reached her ears.
