"General Loimos, it is my honour to greet you" swiftly after arriving, the pure undead went to find Ir’Houwl, who imdiately took one knee on the ground to welco him, she had already seen him back when he had returned victorious and reappeared in the Erald Realm, but the minor lord still could hardly believe who dazzlingly powerful Loimos was, after defeating the golden one, it was like there was a constant halo of absolute power hovering around him.
Currently, she was in the main solar temple of the realm, where the Watchful and Pri Ersta’ra had been situated, both of which were now undeads following their defeat at Ir’Houwl’s hands, there were also an impressive amount of solar beasts that had been blessed with undeath, clearly, the minor lord had been working hard to get this realm under control, the human population had totally submitted to her rule by now.
As such, she had control over all of the sun faiths, every city and town had undeads guarding them, the improvents she had brought with her ensured that the common living respected her greatly, the sand orcs and molochites had also bowed their heads to her without question, blinded by the overwhelming power she and her troops possessed compared to them.
She had even managed to return the giants of this realm to good numbers by bringing out remains and blessing them with undeath.
And that was without ntioning the countless beasts and creatures of the desert that now worked for the Empire, by all ans, Ir’Houwl had done an incredibly job at subjugating this entire realm, especially considering the problem of the Undevigintis, the sun got in the way of basically everything and were refusing to accept the natural order and die.
Loimos made sure to offer so praise for those achievents in his usual, deadpan tone.
All in all, Ir’Houwl had done everything that she could, the minor lord couldn’t exactly slay a sun, so it was only natural for Loimos to take care of that little problem.
Walking directly under the well that allowed light in within the temple, he rose up into the sky under the minor lord’s gaze, whilst the livings that had been turned to undeath, and those that served Ir’Houwl whilst still alive watched with slight confusion.
Cheops, ritites, Benerib, Ny-Hor and Khasekhemwy for example, they had never left the realm at all, so although they sensed dire power from Loimos, they did not realise that he was the pure undead they had heard so much about, and thus, couldn’t help but wonder why Ir’Houwl seed so submissive in his presence.
To them, the minor lord was an absolute monster that even two Ersta’ra were unable to match in combat, a warrior who had led and slayed several solar beasts, from their perspective, it was hard to imagine that an undead could actually get any stronger than this, but they could not help but have awe course through them as they watched Loimos rise into the sky, seemingly unbothered by the dire heat radiating from Pri Undeviginti.
The mysterious undead garbed in a most bizarre attire continued to fly higher, and all pri worshippers felt sothing through the vapour they wielded, a shudder.
But one could also simply use their eyes to notice that sothing incredible was happening.
Pri Undeviginti was visibly reacting to the undead, the sun, as intelligent as it truly was, could not actually move, but it still appeared to be trembling as it called forth many more other suns around itself, event the roaming sun sped into view, bringing the amount of solar stars present at one to an all-ti high, and yet, no one was feeling the heat, in fact, the air suddenly felt cool as Pri Undeviginti focused everything on the undead.
Manifesting a ray of concentrated light, such a thing could lay ruin to countless cities and towns, and it all focused on a single, individual target, who did not even move as the most powerful attack the first of the suns could manifest ca crashing into Loimos.
Pri Undeviginti had the ability to cause even energies to heat-up, making them grow unstable, this ability should allow its beam to blast through any defence, and yet, the skeleton was unaffected, not only did the strike deal no damage whatsoever, but the light was absorbed by the undead as though he was a black hole.
As the beam stopped, everyone expected to see Loimos do sothing, raise his hand, or burst forth straight at the sun, but he did not budge, and yet, Pri Undeviginti dimd for an instant, the roaming suns did the sa whilst the manifested solar stars disappeared from where they had co from.
Visually, nothing seed to change about the first of the suns, but all could feel it.
Pri Undeviginti had died and been reborn, with this rebirth ca many things.
From left to right, the sun moved as though unbound from chains, demonstrating an agency and awareness that it had never displayed before, and then, a few, deep words of death tongue rumbled throughout the realm, words that did not quite make sense to the natives yet.
"I, Pri Undeviginti, swear allegiance to the Pale Lady and Empire" with rebirth ca heightened intellect, and at last, he beca his very own being, no longer linked to the other Undevigintis, this was the greatest thing that could have happened, and it had co to pass thanks to undeath.
Before anyone could even properly process that they had just witnessed a sun being slain with what had seed like a re look, the separation of Pri Undeviginti caused Illusory Undeviginti to be conjured into existence to replace the emptiness left behind.
The sa scene played out again, and again, as the god-like entities that were the Undevigintis were slain one by one, receiving the blessing of a being far above themselves, the blessing so great and magnificent that all, without exception, instantly swore allegiance imdiately.
And for the first ti ever, all of the Undevigintis existed at the sa ti in the sky, each having beco their very own beings, no longer bound by any of the limitations that used to be imposed upon them.
"Aid in the full conquest of this realm, follow Ir’Houwl’s lead, and once that mission is done, you will beco a part of the sky" said Loimos.
The five suns listened to his command without hesitation.
Then, Loimos simply floated back down into the temple, Ir’Houwl hardly believing the ease with which the Undevigintis had just been slain and converted into loyal undeads, since the pure undead was directly involved, there was no need to fear them to be negators as well, Loimos would have imdiately noticed it.
"They are under your direct command, use their capabilities well" he simply said before walking away.
His work here was done.
