Chapter 90: The First Court

With Ye Xuan’s death, the Dragon Realm space shattered, and Qin Xian returned to the Pantheon.

“Master!”

“Brother!”

Seeing Qin Xian appear, Marika and Qin Li eagerly approached him, their faces filled with excitent. As for Ye Xuan, neither of them asked about him. To them, he was rely a stranger, unworthy of attention.

It was a sad reality; the goddess and sister whom Ye Xuan had cherished so dearly did not care about him at all. He had died like a stray dog by the roadside, leaving no lasting impact.

This Broken Heaven instance had yielded significant rewards for Qin Xian. In comparison, killing Ye Xuan wasn’t the main benefit.

The true gains were twofold: one, his Void Overlord class had evolved after consuming a world’s source, and two, he had slain nine gods within the Pantheon, obtaining seven divine shard fragnts.

Given the extre weakness of the gods in the Pantheon, so of them hadn’t even possessed divine shard fragnts.

Still, looting seven fragnts, in addition to the fragnt previously granted by the system, brought Qin Xian’s total to eight.

Apart from Oracle Retribution and Blessing of the War God, he now had several other divine fragnts, including Grace of the Forest, Blessing of the Full Moon, Echo of the Hurricane, and Hope of Winter.

[Grace of the Forest]: Increases maximum health by 50%, restores 5% of maximum health every 10 seconds in battle.

[Blessing of the Full Moon]: At night, gain an extra 5 to all skills; under a full moon, gain an extra 10.

[Echo of the Hurricane]: Increases agility by 50%, boosts dodge rate by 50%, and grants immunity to any slowing or hindering effects.

These divine fragnts were far inferior to Oracle Retribution and Blessing of the War God, providing only a 5% progress toward divinity each. After all, these gods were not true main gods but rather secondary ones. Nonetheless, a divine fragnt was a divine fragnt.

With his eight divine fragnts—two main god fragnts worth 10% progress each and six secondary god fragnts worth 5% each—Qin Xian’s divinity progress had reached 50%. Upon reaching 50%, his Oracle Knight class would evolve into Archangel.

The system had already issued a new class mission for Qin Xian:

[Divine Evolution]: Prove your strength by slaying a Void Lord. The Divine Revelation Monolith will bless you, enabling your transformation into an Archangel. Ti limit: 3 years.

The Oracle Knight’s strength lay in its exceptional potential for growth. At 50% divinity, it could evolve into a demigod-level Archangel, and at 100%, it would beco a true deity, granting the Oracle Knight a seat in the Divine Council of the Divine Revelation Monolith’s holy realm.

The true Pantheon within the Divine Revelation Monolith was vastly different from the weakened Broken Heaven instance.

Its Pantheon was composed solely of powerful main gods. In Broken Heaven, only Marika and Kenqi could be considered main gods; the others were secondary deities.

But for humans, obtaining divine fragnts was never easy. In the history of humankind, one Oracle Knight had managed to reach 50% divinity at level 88, becoming a demigod-level Archangel by gathering fragnts granted by the system and obtaining a secondary god fragnt through luck.

Upon reaching Archangel status, he had beco the most powerful figure in his era, later receiving an “invitation” to the Divine Revelation Monolith’s holy realm.

Qin Xian, however, was an anomaly. He had reached 50% divinity at level 35.

As he examined his new mission, Qin Xian’s eyes narrowed slightly. Void Lords were at least level 70 entities. While he could summon a Void Lord avatar, it was only a temporary manifestation, not a true Void Lord, making the mission impossible to complete using his own summons.

Hunting a Void Lord was no simple task, even with the Qin family’s resources—it would co at a considerable cost. Yet, for Qin Xian, it was relatively simple. He had another identity: heir to the First Court of the Void.

It seed he’d need to make ti to visit the Void within the next three years.

Qin Xian’s eyes narrowed as a familiar and terrifying figure ca to mind…

In the Void, the First Court.

To humans and other species, the Void was a vast and terrifying alternate universe, an endless realm with no known boundary.

In the depths of the Void, nestled within a dead star cluster, lay an enormous palace complex, spanning an entire planet.

The buildings within were grandiose and towering, each hundreds of ters high, adorned with mysterious runes and twisted statues, exuding a sense of strength and distortion.

An ominous and eerie aura pervaded the Void, filled with an eternal silence.

This was the First Court of the Void.

In total, the Void had seven courts, each equally ranked, yet the First Court was universally acknowledged as the mightiest. Its ruler, the Deathly Empress, was the most powerful and terrifying entity within the Void.

Within the First Court, countless monstrous Void creatures lurked, while Void Generals with powerful auras watched over their subordinates. Above the First Court, colossal portals lood, through which Void creatures, led by Void Generals, invaded and consud countless worlds.

In the depths of the First Court, an eerie temple lay hidden in the starless void, surrounded by an intensifying sense of dread intermingled with twisted, horrifying sounds—the sounds of world-ending destruction and the dying wails of innurable creatures.

In the midst of this eternal silence, a terrifying figure lood, appearing and disappearing within the shadows.

It was a woman—or rather, a being resembling a woman. Her form was graceful, and her face was stunningly beautiful, though her skin bore a faint grayish-purple hue, adding an eerie, twisted allure to her beauty.

Yet no one dared to admire her beauty, for her eyes were filled with an indifferent, icy gaze—not a re coldness, but a deathly stillness, devoid of any emotion, like the will of a silent world staring down upon everything.

To be under her gaze was enough to plunge any being into fear and madness.
