In her innocent mind, letting Wen Xu hit her seed like the best way to make ands. Looking at the pitiable Gu Anran, Wen Xu’s spirits lifted slightly for reasons he couldn’t quite explain.
“It’s fine,” he said, comforting her. “What happened today isn’t your fault.”
A flash of hatred flickered in his eyes. This matter wouldn’t end so simply. He would avenge Uncle Zhao!
Li Ling spoke in a deep voice, “Our Future Guild will help you.”
The Future Guild, one of the Empire’s top three super guilds, boasted imnse strength and resources. As the Future Guild’s heir, Li Ling’s support carried significant weight.
Zhao Haoran and Xu Taichu also stepped forward and nodded. “We’ll help you too!”
Though they were all romantic rivals and technically adversaries, their shared feelings for Gu Anran had created an oddly harmonious dynamic. As long as Gu Anran was happy, they were willing to tolerate each other’s presence.
In that mont, the young n stood united. Gu Anran, deeply moved, silently prayed to the heavens. She wished that Wen Xu, Zhao Haoran, Li Ling, and Xu Taichu could stay by her side forever.

These four groups represented humanity’s strongest combat forces, and only combat-class professionals of Level 15 and above could qualify to join.
The Eastern Army was the newest of these groups. After ascending to the throne, the Emperor had defied all opposition to form the Eastern Army by selecting elite units from the other army groups.
Despite its relatively short history of just a few decades, the Eastern Army had already distinguished itself with remarkable achievents, defending the Eastern Front and slaying countless Void creatures.
Two years ago, under the command of Wen Yu, the Eastern Army had even managed to kill a young Void Lord.

The Eastern Army’s headquarters was an enormous military base, sprawling over an area as large as a city. The base exuded an atmosphere of strict discipline, with squads of highly trained, powerful soldiers conducting routine drills.
At each corner of the base stood massive teleportation gates, through which bloodstained starships, scarred by countless battles, slowly passed.
So of these starships carried the massive corpses of Void creatures hanging from their hulls.
In the strategy building at headquarters, a high-ranking officer stood with his hands behind his back, commanding the latest operations along the Eastern Front.
At that mont, an adjutant approached, handing him a docunt.
“Deputy Sun, news from the Imperial Capital,” the adjutant said.
The officer nodded slightly, taking the docunt. His expression imdiately changed upon reading it.
With a grave voice, he asked, “Where is Commander Wen right now?”
