Chapter 24: My IQ Is Not That Low

Lisa’s face paled when she heard Ella’s words. After that, her expression changed, as if filled with sha and anger.
A new person who had only worked a few days at her workplace dared to treat her like this!
“You...” She looked at Ella in annoyance. Her anger was so intense that it seed as if blood rose to her eyes, making the whites of her eyes redden. Her pretty face disappeared, replaced by a scary look.
Where was her usually sweet and gentle appearance?
Ella glanced at her and then averted her gaze casually. If Lisa’s custors saw her like this, could they all still like her?
The more Ella ignored her, the angrier Lisa beca.

She seed to want to say that she was not stupid like Lisa.
Lisa’s face turned from pale to green. She had no words to reply to Ella. She could only let go of Ella’s hand and leave a sentence before leaving.

After that, she waltzed away in her high heels.
Ella paid no attention to this small incident. She started getting ready for work. But because of Christian, there’s nothing she could do today.
Although the other waiters were busy pacing and taking orders from table to table, she just stood idly by while gazing at the shimring lights.
On the stage, a woman with blonde hair was singing a song. After the song was finished, the guests imdiately gave a lot of tips to her very generously.
Ella looked at her enviously. Her heart ached.
She managed to be Christian’s woman, but she still needed money, especially the money from the tips she got after serving the table.
If she could only depend on the salary from this job, when would she be able to raise enough money to buy proper clothes to accompany Christian?
Although she could avoid problems with custors, especially the masculine n, her current inco was very low.
Lisa kept watching Ella who was in the corner. She looked at her with bloodshot eyes and tightly clenched fists.
Of course she knew how their manager treated Ella in a special way.
And all this because that bitch got close to Christian!
Damn it! Why was she not as lucky as that woman?
“Lisa, why are you so angry?”
A woman walked up to her with a smile. She embraced Lisa very casually as if they were close friends.
Lisa often accompanied all kinds of n, especially the big bosses, so everyone who worked at the bar respected her. This woman nad Fera was no exception.
Fera smiled and said, “Who dares to make you upset like this?”
“That one. That shaless bitch over there.” said Lisa irritably.
Lisa snorted and then looked at Fera who was wearing a black suit beside her. “That woman makes my eyes hurt.”
When talking about Ella, Lisa gritted her teeth furiously.
“She?”
Fera looked at Ella. “Isn’t she the woman Christian chose last night? Of course she would be arrogant. But it won’t last long. Anyway, you’ve been working here for so long, why don’t you understand this still?”
Fera looked at Ella from head to toe and said, “Still, it’s no wonder Christian wants her for the night.”
Even though Christian wasn’t a regular at the bar, he visited there quite often. But whenever he ca there, he would never bring a woman. The man didn’t even bat an eye no matter how hard these won tried to get his attention.
This was very strange indeed.
You could say, Ella was the first woman he had ever wanted.
To their surprise, Ella was a newcor with no experience who managed to get close to soone like Christian.
Lisa snorted in annoyance. “Tch! She must’ve used dark magic to get him!”
“But you have to admit that the woman is beautiful,” Fera said, shrugging her shoulders.
Even though Ella had only been working there for a few days, she was already attracting enough attention. There were quite a number of people who secretly asked her price even though Ella didn’t actually sell herself.
Unfortunately, the n didn’t get the chance because Christian got Ella first.
While listening to Fera’s words, Lisa beca more and more annoyed and said angrily, “Who knows if her face is real or a result of surgery?”
“Why are you fussing with her?” Fera asked helplessly, trying to succumb to Lisa’s bad temper.
So what if Ella’s face was the result of plastic surgery? If Christian chose her, it only proved her success.
“I can’t accept this.” Lisa looked at Ella angrily. “She laughed at . How could I let her live in peace!”
Biting her lower lip in annoyance, she continued to stare at Ella. Suddenly, her eyes lit up as she ca up with an idea. “How about we ask her to ‘have so fun’?”
The ‘have fun’ that Lisa ant sounded like a really bad idea to Fera’s ears.
She knew that Lisa wanted to send Ella to so n who wanted her.
“Forget about your plan. She belongs to Christian...”
Before Fera could finish speaking, Lisa interrupted her, “If Christian really cared about her, how could she go back to work here? You know how Christian is, right?”
Christian didn’t like being touched by random people, including won. He also did not want everything he owned to be touched by others.
If Christian returned Ella to this place, it ant that Christian didn’t care about her.
Perhaps, Ella was just a speck of sand interfering with Lisa’s view.
