“Father-in-law, I want you to beco an investor for the project in City C. What do you think?”
Haikal’s voice was full of ridicule, as if he wasn’t talking to his future in-laws.
If only Budi had been willing to help him from the start, the problem wouldn’t have beco this big.
Actually, it was Haikal who deliberately made things worse. Since Budi didn’t want to help him, he decided to act cruelly.

“Not only that.” Budi snorted in annoyance. “Even if we work together, we won’t be able to fight Christian. Plus, when I went to see Ella this afternoon, I saw her with William Jaya.”
“William Jaya?” Haikal frowned when he heard the na.
William Jaya or better known as Liam was the son of the Jaya Family who recently returned to Indonesia. Granted from his appearance, Liam looked like a simple and polite man, but in fact he was a great man with extraordinary standing.

This new information was a big surprise for him. During his ti with Ella, he had never heard her say Liam’s na.
That ans Liam was not very important in Ella’s life.

Budi looked at Indri’s panicked face and decided not to tell his daughter what he knew.
“Haikal, I will help you. But can you help solve Indri’s problem?”
“It doesn’t matter.”
After reaching an agreent, Haikal imdiately ended the call.
anwhile, Budi’s face beca unsightly. He didn’t like his future son-in-law’s attitude. He looked at Indri and smashed his coffee cup on the floor, right beside Indri.
“You have to pay half of the money!”
“Father?” Indri’s eyes widened in disbelief.
Half of 800 million? That ant, Indri had to spend 400 million from her own pocket! Where could she get that much money?
So far, Indri had no savings of her own.
The money she used to buy clothes and jewelry ca from her father. She also ate at her family’s house. Just like her mother.

But Ella had threatened her that she would take all her belongings back.

Budi snorted and left the living room, leaving Indri and rry alone. rry took a deep breath and helped her daughter who was kneeling on the floor.
“Don’t worry. The important thing now is that your father has promised to help Haikal. Think of it as a blessing in this disaster.”
rry’s words of consolation made Indri frown even more.
