At first it looked like armor, red like the sand of this earth, the areas where skin should have been visible were pitch black, with only a narrow gap for the eyes left by the helt.

Apart from its appearance, nothing stood out from this armor, but as soon as the eyes reached it, life glowed under the helt, in the form of a red ball of light.

The armor shook, the pressure around it began to increase, and the once quiet crowd began to murmur, their voices escalating into a deafening roar.

Iris looked on in shock, Morgiana next to her was pointing her finger, trembling.

"It’s... it’s..."

"How... How long has he been here?!"

The volu of the spectator’s voice escalated further as an extraordinary event unfolded.

"...Is it...."

"Look look!"

They shouted, pointing to the armor whose trembling led the entire body to rise.

"The mad is standing! He made the mad move!!!"

The pressure kept increasing, but instead of a succession of waves of cold and heat like Dora’s, this pressure kept increasing people’s excitent and euphoria.

At the entrance to the corridor, rcy and Lilith who were secretly observing felt the sa shiver run through their bodies.

It wasn’t a monster pressure, but a powerful dose of adrenaline and many drugs combined.

On the ground, Dora gritted his teeth and in an instant, emitted a shock wave felt by everyone.

The cries stopped, the joy disappeared, everyone’s eyes slowly widened, as if sothing were happening again for the first ti.

Standing above, Wrath stopped releasing his pressure.

They looked around, almost in shock, a feeling of emptiness filling their veins, but then, the most sinister sound sent a gnashing of teeth down everyone’s spine.

"Khkhkh..." It started as a laugh, then erupted into a loud, ominous sound.

The pressure fell again, following the rhythm of a laugh sounding like a donkey learning a new language, getting louder and louder.

He put one hand on his face, his eyes glowing under his helt.

"...Hm...interesting...very interesting...this...this is the first ti I’ve felt sothing like this...since..."

Beneath his helt, a cheerful bass voice echoed throughout the arena.

Dora lowered his weapon, satisfied to see his ssage transmitted perfectly.

"Hegh...warrior...I don’t rember your na...who are you?"

Dora felt a shiver run through his body, he looked at the palms of his hands then at the man standing above them.

His eyes narrowed.

(I see...now I understand how it works.)

"I am just another warrior, I lost my na long ago and I seek a new na in the blood of my adversaries."

Murmurs arose among the audience, followed by increasingly loud cheers. In the stands, Iris looked around, intrigued by the behavior of the spectators.

"...it’s strange, usually people are terrified of Avatars...but here they are fine with it."

"They’re as crazy as him." Morgiana’s words escaped her lips, her breath growing more labored.

The man in armor let his arms drop, his pair of gleaming eyes quivering in the shadows.

"...Naless?...I hate fake mysteries...the good naless doesn’t show his face...do you understand the aning of standing here?"

"I know, and this is how I want to achieve my goals, and no one will stand in my way... not even the mad."

He raised his morning star again, pointing it at Wrath. The audience’s cheers literally exploded, turning into a wave of enthusiasm.

By then, it was clear to everyone that Dora had captured the public’s attention and paved the way for Lilith and rcy to take.

"...You pointed your weapon at for the second ti, Naless...do you even realize who you’re taunting?"

"I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t know who you are."

The audience erupted into cheers of euphoria, chanting the na of a new star replacing the corpse draining blood onto the arena.

"Naless!!!"

"Naless!!!"

Dora turned to face the audience, his morning star facing the sky. Wrath’s pressure increased once more, and then he sat on his rocky throne.

"So be it, Naless, let’s see how far you can keep on this way."

Dora lowered his weapon, a smile on his lips. He turned and left the arena to chants from the crowd.

Iris and Morgiana looked at each other, a little relieved, the first part of the plan was a success.

Dora reached the corridor where Lilith and rcy were waiting for him.

The young berserker, trembling with excitent and the noble with a little apprehension.

"You know the gig, don’t fuck it up."

Lilith raised her hamr on her shoulders, a smile on her lips.

"You wish, stay here and enjoy the show, I’m next."

She said then confidently walked out of the corridor. Dora arched his eyebrows.

"Oh? I don’t expect his pressure to be helpful... what about you? Are you still dead weight?"

rcy let out a frustrated sigh, her gaze shifting to the side. Dora, on the other hand, responded with an exasperated eye roll before continuing to walk ahead.

"I expected it, follow ."

"Uh? And Lilith?"

"She’ll do fine, but you’ll be in trouble if you enter the arena now. Co."

Hesitantly, the girl followed him. Behind, Lilith entered the arena, received by the cheers of a crowd left hysterical by Dora.

She felt the blood boiling in her veins and a growing excitent in her chest. Without realizing it, her smile bared her teeth, a red mist spreading throughout her own body.

(...What is this feeling?)

Her mind seed more and more disconnected from her body.

She looked up at the audience chanting a na unknown to her.

(These cheers are not for ...here I am just a challenger...)

Her eyes shifted to a growing shadow before her, then she looked into the eyes of a colossal man.

(...huh...how co these people are even human?)

Standing at least four ters tall, with long muscular arms ending in bristling balls, a new type of gladiator faced her.

"Govu!!! Govu!!!" The audience chanted the na of a beast among n.

The giant man placed his deadly fists on the ground, tilting his body downward to clearly show the difference in size between the two of them.

His toxic breath, mixed with the red mist, hit the girl’s face, but strangely, her smile widened.

(It’s not a ga anymore... there are no humans here... we are all monsters...)

With one hand, she lifted her hamr high and brought it down, creating a resounding clang that reverberated across the arena. The crowd fell silent, their gazes fixed in astonishnt. Gradually, voices began to rise again.

"H-how much does this thing weigh?"

"This little girl..."

The cacophony began again, Lilith’s aura becoming visible. The gladiator in front of her raised his arms, letting out a heavy growl as his body gave off a similar aura.

The girl’s eyes glow red, a wicked smile on her face.

(Finally...the perfect place to beco the scariest monster!)

The audience roared and the two monsters threw themselves at each other.

The towering man crashed down with a blow that shattered the ground, but he was too slow to hit the girl whose hamr struck the left side of his head.

A deafening impact reverberated, causing the giant to stagger, yet he remained on feet, as Lilith landed in front of him.

With a terrifying roar, he delivered a side blow, narrowly dodged by the girl’s agile leap as she circled above him, spinning rapidly.

She then stabilized herself, her eyes gleaming, and the hamr, now coated in red aura, plunged into the man’s skull.

The air quaked as a shockwave surged forth, jolting the audience in their seats. Their mouths gaped open and their hands instinctively clutched their heads, while the colossal creature emitted a resounding roar, expelling the last remnants of air from its lungs, and then, the beast fell in front of the monster’s feet.

Panting heavily, her eyes swirling, Lilith could feel the blood pounding in her head. Stuck in one spot, shaking all over.

Step by step, the tension decreased, her frenzy calming down, her vision starting to stabilize and revealing the deford head of the giant, slowly dying at her feet.

"... Eh ?"

For the first ti since entering the battlefield, Lilith beca Lilith and she realized that she had murdered a human.

A hand over her mouth, her eyes trembling, she stepped back, looking at the horror she had made.

The man was still alive, his moans showed it. The audience erupted into a new frenzy, singing the most ominous wish to the girl.

"Finish it!!!"

"Blood! Blood! Blood!"

All the voices rged into a murderous spiral of orders, the young girl stuck in the middle of this cyclone.

She couldn’t understand her own hesitation, she killed monsters daily, but this ti the monster was another human.

(...No no...)

"Kill him!"

"Crush his neck!!"

"Brains!!! We want brains!!!"

The voices spiraled through the air, Iris and Morgiana clutching their chest to handle this wave.

Lilith stepped back again, dropping her hamr, but then reappeared in her hands.

"What..."

- Where are you going? He is still alive.

The pressure fell and her eyes turned red. Veins appeared on her forehead and her mouth forced into a smile.

She raised the hamr again, causing an explosion of euphoria among the spectators, and then, in the most disturbing scene, Lilith struck the man’s head.

- Embrace the madness of wrath

Iris looked away, Morgiana’s jaw dropped, under the cries of joy that surrounded them, Lilith delivered a succession of blows to a head defying the laws of hardness.

5, 6, 7, over and over again, with her aura growing, she smashed his skull with hysterical laughter, blood stains splattering her face.

Wrath’s sinister laughter rose, barely audible above the screams of the audience.

Again and again, the man’s hands moved from ti to ti, then fell in sync with the blows, and finally, after about 30 seconds of madness, the girl delivered the final blow.
