Candace’s group was gathered in Dora’s room, alongside a few emissaries and Agharita. The dean sitting on a chair massaged her temples and stared at the confused young man.

"So... Let’s resu... You’re telling ... You have no idea what happened, about the Twilight of the Gods, about everything that happened this year."

Dora nodded hesitantly, his eyes occasionally glancing at the girls.

"I really don’t understand anything either... I rember training with you all... and I really want to say that it’s impossible that it’s been almost two years but... Now that I see everyone, it’s hard to deny it."

"... And you say... you don’t know anything about Greed and Midgard?"

Dora scratched his nose, looked thoughtful, and clutched his head.

"I know I’m Greed, and I’m awakened, I am the sa Greed you know, but maybe more than this... And I don’t know who this Midgard is."

"... You have to be kidding !" Agharita said, kicking a chair. "What kind of joke is this? After everything you’ve done, you dare to act stupid?! YOU killed Midgard, YOU caused Elizabeth’s death! Twilight of the Gods, it’s all your fault! "

She was breathing heavily, her hands shaking in frustration.

Two emissaries, knowing her bad temper, stood in front of her, Dora looked at her with narrowed eyes.

"Wait... I rember you... I rember that you also played a big role in my awakening."

"... No, this idiot hasn’t lost his mory, I’ll show you."

She moved forward, forcing the emissaries to hold her back.

"Hey, Agharita." Candace said in a haunting tone.

"... Master?"

"I can accept that so people are angry, but I have zero tolerance for hypocrites. You and your comrades chose to let them kill Dora to wake the Sin, you have no right to complain."

She gave her an emotionless look. The Holy Knight, with a sudden sad expression, lowered her head.

"... My excuses."

Candace sighed and turned to Zuri.

"Zuri, this is serious business, can you confirm that Greed said that? Can you tell more?"

Zuri held her arm, biting her lip.

"That’s what he said... He’s going to make us regret our choice, then he said this would be our last eting, and he... disappeared?"

"... And you’re telling ... He just gained access to his powers like that? Nothing happened?"

Zuri lowered her head so as not to see the dean’s eyes. She was shaking a little, terrified, feeling heavier and heavier by the second.

"... Nothing happened, nothing."

"... ALL RIGHT."

Candace crossed her arms, staring at Dora.

"This must be a joke... nothing makes sense..."

"Maybe it’s the Queen’s blessing?" Iris suggested. "Maybe her blessing woke him up again? We know too little about the Avatars."

"I don’t know... I’ve seen that thing too many tis, lying isn’t one of its antics... He said he was restricted, and he didn’t like it, if he got the power from her blessing, why did he do that? Why not run away? I don’t understand..."

She bit her thumbnail, everyone was confused by the situation.

Dora was acting like a Dora they knew, and Greed’s speech sounded like a capitulation, but since they didn’t know the whole story, they couldn’t have the sa understanding of danger as Zuri.

The girl, seated further away, looked at the ground, terrified that her actions would be discovered.

Candace sighed and stood up.

"It’s useless, there are only two hypotheses and it screams loudly that it is a trap: Greed would have erased his existence because he knows that he was trapped forever, with the Queen wandering, and our refusal to use him, he probably chose to disappear with his power and so mories. Now, the second theory, he... Would have erased only his mories to beco a Dora we would trust, and set free."

Dora raised an eyebrow and raised his right arm.

"I’m actually still this Greed, I’m just feeling different because I’m another body but I’m still the sa old folk."

Iris looked surprised and Candace simply put her chair away.

"Yeah, yeah, I can see that at least without your mories you’re back to your old self..."

She suddenly froze and looked at him, her eyes wide.

"Another body?! What do you an? You’re not supposed to be a "body", or Greed, you’re... you’re the embodint of the thing in the Rift... Or the second half of Greed, aren’t you? The one who has no power."

Dora pointed at him with a frown.

"No, I am not that intruder, I am Greed and Sigma."

Later that day, Dora was in the hospital garden. Since the chains were enough to impute him from his energy, he was allowed to step outside as long as he wore them, and always on high surveillance.

Lying on the ground, he observed the sky and then sat down with a frown.

"Yup, looking at the sky to find inspiration is bullshit, why am I even here? I thought I could go anywhere?"

"We can’t possibly let you leave the hospital, don’t be stupid!" An emissary said.

"Then bring entertainnt here, dammit! What am I supposed to do? Growing?"

He argued for a while with the three emissaries guarding him, anwhile, farther away, the three nobles, Iris and Cid watched intrigued.

"So...this is the real Dora? I an...one of the Doras we know?" » asked Iris.

"He looks like him, that’s one thing." » said Cid doubtfully. "But he said he was the sa Greed..."

Freya thought for a mont and turned to Zuri.

"Say, are you really sure he didn’t say anything suspicious? Literally anything, I can’t believe he’s petty enough to step aside and give us a powerful Dora, there must be a plan for later."

Zuri flinched for a mont and looked away, nodding. Freya continued to look at her for a mont before sighing.

"It’s bad."

"Why? Isn’t that a good thing? We... at least he looks more like the Dora we know..."

"Yes, and that’s the problem... Now he’s soone we really need to ask for help, and that’s why it’s definitely a trap ."

Dora sitting on her side glanced at them and turned towards the sky.

(Well... that was unexpected... they knew you existed and are with ... what should we do... Midgard?)
