Dora placed his hands on the sink and caught his breath. The sigh of his bloody hands forced him to close his eyes.

He stayed like that for a few minutes, waiting for his will to move to be filled, then left the bathroom.

He walked down the stairs, following the streaks of blood to the door.

He opened the door and greeted the day with a sigh.

All around him, collapsed houses and burning corpses scattered everywhere.

He walked in a straight line, glancing left and right, and after a few steps he stopped in front of a pile of charred bodies.

He looked silently, expressionlessly, srized by the burnt iron hoop on the wrist of one of the arms protruding from the pile of corpses.

He lowered his head, a smile on his tired face.

"Ah, yes, it was just a dream... I should have known."

Above everyone, the sinister light of the soul stones floated as a witness to this massacre.

And the nightmare isn’t over yet.

He raised his head, closing his eyes.

He put his hands in his pockets and started walking again.

Hours passed and Dora walked through the village looking for a single survivor, but he knew it was useless.

He left the place after taking one last look at another world crushed by him.

The night before, there was light in every house, he could see silhouettes and slls of food.

It filled him with a warm feeling, the world was beautiful, but now there was no house to see the light in, no noise, and the sll of burning corpses almost made him vomit.

He walked again and again, crossing bridges, forests, and fields.

He was now in a forest clearing when his vision blurred again.

"... I did that again."

ntally exhausted, he leaned against a tree and crouched.

Images of Claudia filled his mind, tears flowing freely.

"Why don’t you ever leave alone?... I’m just trying to save you... don’t stay near ..."

He let his tears flow down his cheeks, silently.

"Finally..."

A voice brought the boy out of his depression.

Dora looked up, and before he knew it, a dagger pierced his thigh.

"Urgh?!" He let out a muffled cry and clutched his bloody thigh.

Footsteps ca closer and as the figure erged from the darkness, Dora’s eyes widened.

"Long ti no see, asshole."

"... Erick?"

anwhile, in the village, nurous emissaries were monitoring the surroundings, equipped with masks.

They searched for traces of a single survivor, but their efforts were unproductive.

One of them walked towards a group of people standing near the large pile of bodies.

"Madam, we have the confirmation that he was here."

"... I could tell..." Candace sighed. "Gather everyone, we must get him this ti."

The man left them to spread the information to his comrades, behind, Candace turned to Freya.

"The call was only yesterday, can you track him?"

The girl, with a handkerchief on her nose, shook her head.

"Not if he keeps hiding his energy... but if he has one drop of blood on him, then maybe..."

Dora tried to stand up but fell to the ground.

The dagger had completely crossed his leg and the other half ca out the back of his thigh.

In pain, he tried to keep a distance from Erick who was licking another dagger with a horrible gaze.

"What a delight, now this is exactly how you should move: crawling like a worm."

He walked slowly towards Dora.

"You have no idea how long I waited for this... you piece of shit!"

He threw his second dagger straight into Dora’s hand, piercing her right through.

The boy reacted with a sharp, rapid scream.

Holding his hand, he gave his forr teammate a desperate look.

"... How? How did you find ?"

Erick walked over and kicked his hands with the dagger inside.

Dora scread in pain and got up, but the sad state of his thigh pushed him back to the ground.

Erick started laughing hysterically.

"Holy shit, that feels so good! I’ve waited too long for this! Damn, you’ve run away too many tis, dammit!"

He took two more daggers strapped to his back and lunged at Dora, stabbing him in the shoulder.

"Where the fuck is your arrogance now? Make fun of like you used to! You bastard, show that face you had all this ti!"

He stabbed Dora several tis in the arms and legs.

As the grass slowly turned red, the grim scene filled the forest with cries of pain and laughter of joy.

Erick stood up, his right foot placed on Dora’s throat.

The young boy, injured from his shoulders to his hands, and from his hips to his ankles, was unable to protect his body.

Trembling in pain, his eyes tired, he barely heard Erick’s insults.

"It’s all your fault... You ruined everything... Shining Sword... Leon... after what you did to him, he was never the sa. He returned to that village and... It’s your fault. You destroyed our life!"

He pushed his leg across his throat, squeezing Dora’s.

The boy flinched, his eyes slowly turning white.

"You, you, only you! It’s only because of you... But you were right, I was weak... And I trained a lot! Every day! I pushed my body to its limits... I trained until my bones showed! But I never let go of one thing... This burning feeling... This hatred towards you... YES! You were what kept motivated! What gave so much motivation... Only to see this sight...This expression you have right now... That was all for this mont..."

Dora’s skin turned pale and his arms gradually took on a purple color.

Soon his breathing beca more and more difficult and his veins were showing.

"Oh? It’s finally starting. Are you feeling okay? When they announced your location, I wanted to pay tribute to you, and what better way than to give you your signature move? Enjoy this, the poison skill that got you kicked out of Shining Sword, and that will kick you out of life..."

Hearing this, Dora ca to life and looked at Erick in disbelief.

"You used a skill on ?"

Erick licked the blood off his dagger and smiled.

"I needed to make sure you wouldn’t run away. It’s going to take you slowly, first, you’ll lose the strength in your muscles, then..."

"YOU IDIOT!!!" Dora scread in pure rage. "Do you have any idea what you did?!"

He forced his body to move, and purple blood began to flow, but without his legs and arms, he could only struggle.

Erick looked at him, a little surprised, then gave an ugly smile.

"God... Stop looking at like that... I was ready to kill you..... But now I really want to torture you... hehehe...."

He brought his dagger closer to his face.

"I don’t want to kill you too quickly... But I don’t have healing skills... Oh, I know... I always liked puzzles... Hey, how about I remove everything on your face and play putting them back on? Your nose, your lips, your ears... your skin... oh my, I’m getting excited, hey, maybe you have a charm for boys too? You like to let people say that you’re cute, don’t you? I think I’m going to humiliate you too, I’m going to have a lot of fun with your body... Thank you for the al!"

He raised the dagger and planted it on the latter’s shoulder. He grabbed his leg and tried to pull his pants when a hand patted his shoulder gently.

"No, thank you." Dora’s eyes shone brightly.
