In a massive, hidden expanse that was completely filled with a vicious, toxic purple fog, a giant snake head raised slowly into the cool air.

The beast was so massive that its scales looked like heavy iron plates, and its long body stretched across multiple mountain ridges.

The dark purple, vertical pupils of the giant snake contrasted sharply against the surrounding mist as it suddenly felt a strange, invisible pressure building up rapidly directly on its throat.

The heavy weight pinned its scales down to the ground, making it impossible to move a single milliter.

"Nexus, you dare!" the giant beast roared into the empty air, its massive voice causing the mountain valleys to shake violently as the pressure started to intensify even further.

"What in the world am I not dared of?" ca the haughty, deeply amused voice of Nexus, taunting the legendary beast from the empty sky above.

Hearing these casual words echo through the fog, a wave of intense panic instantly appeared on the face of the massive being.

This creature was none other than the World Devouring Serpent, Xuan Tun, an ancient entity that was infamous across the higher planes for completely devouring entire mortal civilizations whenever it felt hungry.

"You can’t do this to !" Xuan Tun pleaded with strains in its massive voice, trying desperately to make her rember the cosmic laws. "You have promised her! You gave a solemn vow to the ancient progenitor that you would never interfere with our territory!"

Its desperate tries were entirely useless because Nexus had already decided that today was the exact right ti to end the long existence of the World Devouring Serpent.

As the invisible pressure in its throat intensified to an extre degree, Xuan Tun began to thrash its giant body around the rocky ground.

The snake tried everything to escape the locked space, using its high tier venom and crashing its heavy iron scales against the mountains to break the spatial paraters, but it failed completely before the absolute authority of the world grid.

The atmospheric pressure beca so heavy that the snake’s massive neck bones began to crack and snap one by one under the invisible boot.

When it finally reached the absolute end of its long life, the dying Serpent viciously managed to muster its remaining mana to say its final words.

"You broke the World Administrator’s oath," Xuan Tun hissed out with a bloody cough, its deep purple pupils starting to lose their light as it strained to look up at the clouds. "The Systemverse penalize your soul container for this direct execution! You will be stripped of your throne by the cosmic laws!"

Nexus went completely silent for a single mont, her presence fading from the sky.

Then, suddenly, the dark clouds directly above the dying Serpent’s head tore open with a loud, thunderous boom.

Two gigantic golden hands, completely ford from solid celestial energy, reached down from the highest heavens and forcefully ripped the fabric of space apart like a piece of cheap cloth.

The dying terror of the World Devouring Serpent was instantly replaced by a sight that was far more terrifying than its own death.

As its eyes locked onto the massive golden hands, its vertical purple pupils instantly turned completely white in absolute, unadulterated terror.

"How is it possible!" Xuan Tun scread in its mind, its body shaking with a primal fear it had never experienced in millions of years. "How can you regain your true physical body! The seal of the system was supposed to keep you formless forever!"

"Because I am not the World Administrator anymore," the voice of Nexus echoed from the tear in the sky, completely flat and devoid of any maternal warmth.

By the ti that cold voice reached its ears, the giant serpent’s heart completely exploded from pure panic and overwhelming stress.

The light in its eyes vanished entirely as its massive, mountain-like body went totally limp on the shattered stone ridges, dying right on the spot before the golden hands could even touch its flesh.

From the center of the giant snake’s chest, a massive, glowing energy core that was easily the size of an elephant rose slowly into the air, spinning with a dense, majestic energy pattern.

"Apocalypse ranked Gold Core collected," a clear system notification sound ca directly from the tear in the sky as the two gigantic golden hands grabbed the floating item and went back inside, returning the space paraters to normal and sealing the sky back into its original shape.

Imdiately following that automated voice notification, a male, slightly weary voice sounded out from the empty space beside the system console.

"What exactly is Ayla to you?" Kenji asked, his voice sounding a bit raspy and tired as he stepped into the light of the central platform.

He was currently covered in fresh blood from his own hidden trials, his hazel eyes looking deeply into the screen.

"Hm... I can’t really explain it in simple human words," Nexus answered from the air, her tone shifting back into her standard, playful cadence.

"You are not going to do anything bad to her, right?" Kenji questioned, his fists clenching tightly by his sides as his clinical mind calculated the risks. "I will never allow it, no matter how much power you possess over this plane."

"Oh, Kenji. Even if I genuinely wanted to harm that little creature, I simply can’t do that to her," Nexus sounded highly bemused by his intense protective warning.

"Why is that?" Kenji demanded, his eyes narrowing.

"Because of a very old promise," Nexus answered in a slow, unhurried voice, letting the syllables drag out in the quiet room.

"Promises are not a permanent guarantee," Kenji counter-argued instantly, his cold logic dismissing her words. "They are highly breakable. Just look at how you broke your own cosmic vow today."

He explicitly ant her actions in killing the World Devouring Serpent just now. According to the foundational laws of the Crusade, a sitting World Administrator could never directly attack or execute a living being inside the lower or higher world paraters because it would completely break the sacred oath of neutral administrators.

"Am I currently the administrator now?" Nexus asked in a highly teasing tone, letting out a soft, lodic laugh that echoed through the console.

"Well, in official na, I am the one listed," Kenji muttered, rubbing the back of his neck as he looked at his own running status bar. "But I don’t actually have any of the functional powers or permissions of a true World Administrator yet. I am still trapped inside these Iron simulations."

"That is entirely because you are simply a massive dumb head," Nexus replied smoothly, completely mocking his current progress.

"What did you—"

"Tsk, you can’t even successfully contact or text a simple mortal lifeform right now, and you are standing there trying to banter with about cosmic laws?" Nexus cut him off with an arrogant huff. "If you keep moving this slowly through your trial grid, I think I should personally arrange so nice blind dates for that beautiful little sli inside the Ascendant Academy."

"You dare!" Kenji roared out, his cold, clinical persona completely shattering into pieces as his hazel eyes flared with an intense, possessive rage.

"What ya think?" Nexus teased back, her digital presence letting out another cheerful giggle before she completely shut down the communication line, leaving him to seethe in his own trials.
