Odin was terribly calm, his single eye stared at the gods and goddesses around him with an indifferent and powerful gaze.

"Heimdall is dead." As Odin's voice sounded, silence perated the environnt. All the gods and goddesses stared at the All-Father with expressions of shock and disbelief.

The news was simply shocking. This was a Lord God, on the sa level as the Twelve Olympians in Greece. The war had just begun and they had already lost a god of great importance. The balance of the war began to tip towards the Greek side at that mont.

"Who killed him?" Baldur, who looked like a living golden statue, asked with a peaceful and gentle tone. The God of Light's eyes stared at his father with a calm gaze.

"I don't know, but it was an internal conflict." Odin replied with an equally calm and serene tone, but his words made the atmosphere even heavier.

Fighting a civil war while waging a war against another pantheon was simply asking to be destroyed.

"These damned Vanir don't know that we will be destroyed if we lose the war?" A god similar to Thor, but younger, spoke with an extrely irritated tone. It was Thor's son, Modi, the god of Courage, Wrath, Brotherhood, and Berserkers.

Modi's words were what everyone in the hall was thinking.

"We need to kill one of the twelve Olympians." Frigg, the Queen of the Aesir Gods, spoke with a fierce and cold tone. There was a bitterness and sadness that still surrounded the goddess. Losing two sons made the goddess seem extrely resentful and full of hatred, of course, this in the eyes of the other gods and goddesses.

Odin looked at his wife and nodded his head, satisfied with Frigg's words. "Who do you recomnd for the Front Line."

Frigg's eyes shone for a mont, before returning to normal. She seed thoughtful, but did not say any specific na. At that mont, she knew more than anyone that Odin had already chosen the god or goddess to go to the Front Line.

"I can go, All-Father." Modi said with a proud and courageous tone. "I will use my hamr to crack the skulls of the damned Greeks."

The All-Father did not respond and listened to everyone's suggestions in silence. His eyes always thoughtful.

"Father, I think my grandfather or grandmother are suitable for the role." Baldur spoke with a peaceful tone, but did not notice that Odin's and Frigg's eyes fell upon him with a deep gaze.

Odin looked at Baldur with a deep gaze, but finally, nodded his head. "My Lord Father is in another important place at this mont, my Lady Mother will be the one to lead the attack against the Greek Pantheon."

Baldur nodded his head, finding the proposal suitable, Bestla was powerful and strong enough to fight a Lord God and win.

As soon as Odin made his decision, the eting that was taking place also ca to an end and all the gods and goddesses spread throughout Asgard. They were the last line of defense if sothing happened. Few powerful gods went to the Front Line at that mont.

It was not only the Norse side that was using this strategy, the sa could be seen on the Greek side. Gods were immortal when it ca to life expectancy, so wars took a long ti to truly end.

It was foolish to put all important chess pieces on the front line while the Queen remained unprotected. Both pantheons were cautious of possible enemies attacking from behind while they fought on the front line.

Other Pantheons should have already received news of the war between the Norse Pantheon and the Greek Pantheon. The mont there was a winner or the sides were weakened after the war, they would co to get a slice of the pie.

Therefore, for both Odin and Zeus, this war must drag on slowly until one side loses enough for the other side to extort.

As for the destruction of the Pantheon, that was sothing extrely difficult and risky, as it involved Primordial Gods from both sides. Sothing that Odin and Zeus did not want to interfere with. It was better to gain a little than to lose a lot.

Therefore, in the eyes of Zeus and Odin, this will be a war of who can take more punches until one finally falls unconscious.

A red-haired woman, wearing ancient Norse clothes, holding a battle axe, appeared before Odin.

"Mother." Odin greeted the woman with a cold and indifferent gaze. There was not a shred of affection or love in the Norse God King's actions. It was as if the woman in front of him was not his mother, but a complete stranger.

Bestla also showed no affection on her face. Not when she was a Jotun. Knowing that her son and grandson made the population of Jotunheim almost disappear made the affection she had for her family disappear. If it weren't for her husband, Borr, she would have left long ago back to Jotunheim.

However, she was still a mother and loved her own children deep in her heart. Unfortunately, that love was not mutual.

"You will go to the Front Line and kill one of the Greek war gods, you can choose any, but try to kill the goddess of war. The Greek brat will suffer more with the death of his daughter." Odin said with a cold and indifferent tone, but his words were tinged with an insane murderous intent.

The anger, paranoia, and coldness after Heimdall's death made Odin simply on the verge of madness and insanity.

Bestla noticed her son's state and showed a look of disdain. "The closer to Ragnarok, the crazier you're getting. Are you afraid of becoming wolf food?"

Odin's eye beca terribly cold with Bestla's words. A purple and golden ray shot from the All-Father's eye and tore through the air at an impossible speed to notice with just the eyes.

However, Bestla remained still and only felt the extrely hot ray pass a few centiters from her cheek. She said with a deep tone. "It seems I'm right."

"If you were in perfect condition, you would never have attacked ." Bestla comnted, looking at Odin's increasingly crazy state. Seeing the future was not a gift, but a curse. Knowing one's own death was even worse. "The more you run from destiny, the closer destiny will co to you."

Odin closed his eyes and remained silent, not wanting to go into detail about his own situation. How could he not perceive his own state? But this was the burden of using his semi-omniscience for so long.

However, Odin had no choice, he had to use his Divine Positions or his plans could not be carried out as he expected. He always saw the future before attacking, but this made him dependent on his own powers.

Without using semi-omniscience, he would feel that everyone was conspiring against him, only by seeing the future could he feel that everything was out of control.

"I saw that you will be attacked by soone, but I couldn't see who it is, maybe it's Heimdall's killer." Gradually closing his eye, Odin comnted with a calm and cold tone.

Bestla looked surprised at Odin, it was the first ti in ages that Odin actually seed worried about her. However, Bestla could only know that Odin was simply worried about the identity of Heimdall's killer and nothing more.

As for her death, Odin never really cared. He hated the Jotun blood running through his veins and certainly hated his own mother.

"I'll be careful, son." Showing a rare affection on her face, Bestla turned and walked towards the exit.

"Son?" Odin murmured with a tone of disgust. "If I were really your son, you would have been an Aesir, not a filthy race like a Jotun."

Honestly, Odin was contradictory, the All-Father hated the Jotuns, but had children with so won from the Jotun clan. It was a duality of hatred, anger, and disgust, but even so, most of Odin's children were from Jotun mothers.

If Bestla had heard Odin's words, she would have lost the last bit of affection she had for her son. Unfortunately, she still didn't know and because of that, she still fought to keep the Norse Pantheon until her last mont.
