The palace was filled with ancient Greek ceramic vases, all depicting epic and legendary battles written in history books. Godwyn noticed that most of the vases depicted battles against Olympus.
The identity of the palace owner beca increasingly obvious to him. There were three options for divine beings who could be the palace owner. Each of the three options was terribly powerful and had a status equal to the God King Zeus.
Uranus, Cronus, and Typhon.
Each more terrifying than the last. Of course, the most likely were Uranus and Typhon; if Cronus could manifest to this extent, the events of the Percy Jackson books wouldn't even need to happen; the God of Ti could fight Zeus once and for all again.
Godwyn would be happy if it were Uranus; the ancient God King of Greece probably wanted sothing other than their lives. But if it were Typhon, things would get very complicated. Especially with Zeus's daughter beside him. If there was anyone Typhon hated, it was Zeus!
"Thalia, do you feel anything?" Godwyn asked in a low tone, not wanting to alarm his group mbers. At the sa ti, Thalia's feelings would indicate the probable owner of the Palace.
"It slls of the Underworld, full of malice and murderous intentions against ." Thalia replied with a tone full of regret. In her feelings, even the air seed to be her enemy, making the re act of breathing arduous.
What Godwyn feared most ca true. Typhon, the most monstrous son of Mother Earth and the Deep Abyss!
There was no other being that terrified the Greek gods more than Typhon. The being who made all the gods of Olympus flee like dogs with their tails between their legs.
How the Father of Monsters had co out or even manifested in the world, when he should be sealed on Mount Saint Helena, Godwyn had no idea, but it no longer mattered at this mont.
Godwyn couldn't help but curse Zeus for being so irresponsible and not properly guarding one of his worst enemies.
"Mimir, can you send us sowhere else with your powers?" Godwyn asked in a calm tone. The more critical the situation, the calr he beca. Perhaps it was a habit he acquired from surviving several near-death situations.
"It may seem like we are in the United States, but we are not. This piece of land is the underworld, which manifested in this location. My powers cannot open a rift between worlds in this place." Mimir explained in a solemn and calm tone.
Even expecting such a situation, Godwyn let out a disappointed sigh. Feeling the Destined Death within him, he prayed to himself that he wouldn't be forced to use his curse. It was too early, and such a curse shouldn't be known by the Greek gods, especially Zeus.
'Typhon, I hope you are more rational than history explains. I don't want to die, and neither do you.' Godwyn thought with an increasingly determined look. He was a man who kept his promises and would protect Thalia, Luke, and Annabeth.
Suddenly, everyone in the group stopped; two enormous white marble doors opened, revealing a majestic and luxurious throne room. Pillars rose around as the sll of the storm hung in the air.
Climbing the steps, a huge man could be seen sitting on an obsidian throne. He was about two and a half ters tall, with large muscles, powerful, and of a wild beauty. His skin was tanned while tattoos covered his four limbs.
Dark brown hair fell over a resolute, angular, and strong face. A pair of blue eyes, reminiscent of the clear and clean sky, stared at them with a cold, arrogant, and disdainful look.
Typhon, the Storm Giant and Father of All Monsters.
The Father of All Monsters was surrounded by beautiful, sensual nymphs, wearing so little clothing that they were practically naked with transparent and revealing fabric. Which made young n like Luke and Grover widen their eyes in total admiration.
"Your Majesty." Godwyn ignored the two excited teenagers and didn't let others introduce themselves; he greeted Typhon as a true King of Gods.
Looking at the foreign demigod, Typhon bared his teeth in a wild smile. "Son of Odin, your father's na is louder than any thunder." The giant's voice was thick, powerful, and incomparably arrogant.
"Unfortunately, no one wants to kill him." Godwyn replied with an amused smile as he looked at the giant with a calm gaze.
"Interesting…" Typhon was surprised for a mont, but then he smiled even more happily. It seed that father and son didn't get along, although Godwyn had said it in an amused tone, he felt the murderous intention hidden in the young demigod's gaze.
"Speak your na, Son of Odin." Typhon asked with growing interest in the demigod who stood calmly before him.
What made him feel a touch of admiration for the boy. After all, even the gods of Olympus fled when they saw him coming. A demigod who could talk to him and remain calm was more worthy than the trash of Olympus.
"Godwyn, the Golden." Godwyn replied with a respectful tone; he didn't show any disrespect for a mont. Just like Nidhogg, Typhon was a monster who deserved respect for his terrifying strength.
"I will rember your na." Typhon nodded. His blue eyes focused on the black-haired girl with electric blue eyes.
"Your father is a hypocrite as always; he broke the oath he had with his brothers." Typhon said with a touch of sarcasm, but he didn't directly speak Zeus's na. He himself didn't want Zeus to know about his relatively free status. After all, he had plans to leave Mount Saint Helena and get revenge.
Thalia couldn't move; her instincts scread that she would die at any mont. This feeling was so suffocating, stressful, and agonizing that she couldn't stop trembling. Sweat ran down her extrely beautiful face.
Standing in front of Thalia, to block the imposing aura of the Father of All Monsters, Godwyn said in a respectful tone. "Your Majesty is Typhon, the giant who made the gods of Olympus flee with their tails between their legs like re dogs. Your na causes fear and trembling in all who hear it. How can you care about the daughter of soone you have already defeated once?"
"HAHAHAHHA!!!!" Typhon couldn't help but laugh upon hearing Godwyn's words; he couldn't be happier at that mont. He looked at the boy with an increasingly pleasant gaze. "That's right, boy!!!"
"I am Typhon, and I do not intimidate a re human woman." Typhon said with a proud tone and full of disdain for Thalia's race and gender.
Mimir looked at Godwyn with admiration. Although he admired Godwyn's strength, he admired the boy's communication skills even more. It was no coincidence that the Norns wanted Godwyn to act as a diplomat between Asgard and Helheim.
Thalia looked at the back of the boy in front of her, protecting her from the terrifying monster with complex emotions. Although Godwyn's back wasn't large for his age, she wanted to lean on that back that brought her a feeling of security she had never had.
"Girl, I have a proposal for you." Holding a beautiful nymph in his lap, Typhon kissed the nymph's neck with greed and lust. He spoke with a commanding tone, leaving no room for refusal.
"Go and bring your father's Master Bolt." As Typhon's words sounded, Godwyn's face changed slightly. Cronus and Typhon were working together!
Godwyn imdiately understood how Typhon could have such power, even while sealed in the underworld below Mount Saint Helena. With the help of Cronus's followers, Typhon truly gained relative freedom.
To obtain his complete liberation, it is likely that Cronus made a promise: if Typhon could bring the Master Bolt, he would finally be free.
Godwyn, with the information he possessed from the books, almost imdiately understood the probable agreent between Cronus and Typhon.
This only showed Godwyn that he shouldn't believe everything would follow the books. This was the real world, not a fictional one. Any change could completely alter the world's destiny.
Just like at this mont. Although he didn't know what he did to change sothing so drastic, like Typhon's arrival, he understood that everything was volatile, including written destiny itself.
