Chapter 1587: Mysterious Treasure Protecting Mission
Lin Feng thought about it. Huaxia, ancient relic, a foreign country? Lin Feng started feeling interested. He really wanted to plot, go there, and steal the relic back!
But he wasn’t really sure and said, “Lu Zhan, you must be wrong? There are so many strong people in the National Security Special Operations Departnt. Any of those high officials could go and protect the relic. Why ? I have no fa or reputation.”
Lu Zhan said in a low voice, “Countries are plotting against each other, and there are spies. Real cultivators from Huaxia are famous and participate in many world competitions. M Country is on file. If those people find out we’re undercover, they will interrupt the trade and the negotiations and will never agree to trade again.”
“What you an is that I am a new face, so they don’t know ?”
“Yes. That’s what Wang Yuan ans. It is the only way to keep the trade going and avoid a high death rate!” confird Lu Zhan.
“Oh,” Lin Feng said, “So, what do I get? I don’t work for free. I’m not a moron.”
Lu Zhan glanced at him and said, “I forgot to ask. What do you want? Otherwise, you can just talk to Wang Yuan directly.”
Lu Zhan called Wang Yuan and gave the phone to Lin Feng. Lin Feng hadn’t thought Lu Zhan would actually take him seriously.
But now Lin Feng had to talk to Wang Yuan, since Lu Zhan had called him. Wang Yuan asked, “Lu Zhan, did Lin Feng agree or not?”
“It’s , Lin Feng. I wanted to know what I would get if I agree to help you?” Lin Feng said shalessly.
“Lin Feng, if you agree, we’ll probably be able to find sothing. Ask us anything, as long as it’s reasonable, of course. We’d be glad to give you anything that makes you happy!” said Wang Yuan. “So what do you want?”

He was lost in thought for a few minutes and then said, “Can you tell what the ancient item is? Is it really precious?”
Wang Yuan was stupefied. “Lin Feng, it’s a secret. I can’t tell you…”
Lin Feng grunted coldly, “Since you don’t trust , don’t co and ask for help. Do you think I’m a thief who wants to steal it, or what?”
Wang Yuan was silent for a few minutes before saying, “Alright, please, I beg you, never tell anyone. Have Lu Zhan leave your room!”
Lu Zhan stood at the side and listened in at first. When he heard Wang Yuan, he felt offended. He was a mber of the Special Operations departnt as well, after all, but he loved his job and revered authority. Before Lin Feng even said anything, he had already left.
Wang Yuan then said, “I’ve heard that it had sothing to do with the creation of Huaxia. It is an absolutely priceless precious treasure. Anyone would want it!”
Lin Feng was stupefied. It had to do with Huaxia’s civilization? It was worth investigating!
The origin of Huaxia? Huaxia’s history was everybody’s common concern. Everybody had to contribute to Huaxia’s safety and harmony. People who were descendants of Yan Di and Huang Di were very good citizens. Lin Feng was a good citizen too!
When Wang Yuan didn’t hear Lin Feng didn’t say anything, he asked, “Lin Feng, tell what you want. If I can’t help you, then I can ask my superior!”
“I’m sure you can do it, just cover all my expenses during the ti of the mission, that’s all,” Lin Feng said calmly.
Wang Yuan couldn’t believe it, “What? Seriously? Are you joking? That’s not worth ntioning, we’re going to cover your expenses during the mission anyway! Co on, tell what you really want!”
Indeed. If Lin Feng had such a simple request, it would be too little, so he said, “Alright, I’ll tell you sothing bigger, but after the mission, when I’ve thought about it. Just consider you’ll owe one!”
Wang Yuan said solemnly, “Alright, so tomorrow, you and Lu Zhan co over. It’s an urgent mission.”
He hung up the phone. Lin Feng called Lu Zhan back into the room, and told him about the appointnt. Lu Zhan accepted. He was a mber of the Special Operations forces after all and had to be serious and reasonable.

Lin Feng took a shower and then went to see Nian Ling Jiao. Nian Ling Jiao said she wanted to go to the city center of Jiang Nan and go shopping, Lin Feng accepted. Qi Xiao Hua and Zhang De Sheng followed as well. They never left Nian Ling Jiao alone.
They drove two cars, and parked them right next to the pedestrian streets. It was the biggest street in Jiang Nan. There were all sorts of shops. When Nian Ling Jiao arrived, she just wanted to buy EVERYTHING!
Especially snacks. She devoured them vigorously, as if she hadn’t eaten in a while. Lin Feng whispered, “Nian Ling Jiao, do you really rember now?”
Nian Ling Jiao ate so fried shrimp and nodded. She swallowed and said, “I didn’t think food would be so amazing on Earth! Have a bite!”
She made Lin Feng eat directly from a skewer. Lin Feng was happy. This was good. But when Qi Xiao Hua saw how close they seed, she had a bad feeling and felt uncomfortable.
“Ling Jiao! How co you are eating that kind of thing?” shouted Qi Xiao Hua. She looked at Nian Ling Jiao as if she were shocked, “You’ve never liked that kind of food!”
Nian Ling Jiao blushed and said, “Mom, what’s wrong with you? My tastes can change sotis too, you know. I like it now. Co and taste it, it’s good!”
Lin Feng had just eaten directly from the skewer, so Qi Xiao Hua felt disgusted. She ran back to Zhang De Sheng. “De Sheng, how co I have the feeling Ling Jiao has turned into soone? She’s doing bad things. She’s never eaten junk food,” Qi Xiao Hua sniffled.
Zhang De Sheng tried to cheer her up and said, “Don’t think too much. She just ate a shrimp! If she’s not our daughter, who else could she be? You’re a bit upset, honey.”
Lin Feng and Nian Ling Jiao walked into the crowd when they saw a group of people moving chaotically. Soone staggered and a bunch of big n charged out.
Those people were all wearing blue clothes everywhere except their arms. They had dragon and tiger tattoos on their arms. One could see they were stupid and useless scumbags at first glance. Lin Feng’s eyes glead when he saw a familiar face.
Lin Feng was astonished. The little scumbags he had destroyed in Linhai! What were they doing in Jiang Nan?
When they got closer, they looked at Nian Ling Jiao. Lin Feng imdiately went in front and stopped them.
There were over twenty people in the group. When Lin Feng stopped them, they were shocked. A forty-year-old bald man cursed, “Son of a fucking slut, how dare you stand in the way of the Brotherhood’s mbers? You must be sick of living!”
Before Lin Feng even had ti to speak, soone dragged him back. It was the young man Lin Feng had destroyed the previous ti. He was terrified as he said, “Uncle, that… that man is the one who destroyed us last ti… He also took my phone and my money…”
The bald man’s eyes were suddenly wide open. His muscles twitched and he cursed Lin Feng, “Little motherfucker! You’re the fucking asshole who beat up my nephew? You think you’re fucking aweso, huh? You dare try and gain power in soone else’s territory! You didn’t think you’d bump into us, huh?”
After that, soone else who had been beaten up by Lin Feng pulled on the bald man’s clothes and said, “Uncle, he’s very, very strong. We shouldn’t offend him…”
The bald was trying to look imposing and scary. He continued cursing, “Father went and fucked a prostitute, huh? Yes, you’re a son of a bitch! You think you’re strong? I’m fucking stronger!”
After that, he turned his head and looked at Nian Ling Jiao. He smiled evilly, which infuriated Lin Feng instantly.
He initially didn’t want to cause trouble, but he had bumped into a scumbag!
Lin Feng didn’t have ti to speak. When Nian Ling Jiao noticed the man’s evil smile, she looked at him, pointed at him and said, “Watch your words, you perv! If you look at again, I’ll rip your eyes out with my fingernails. Now piss off and move!”
The bald didn’t get angry; he smiled and continued harassing her! “Yo… I like the attitude. Spicy! Hot! Oh, they’re the best, because you have to resort to violence to fuck them!”
Nian Ling Jiao was stunned. She turned her head and asked Lin Feng, “What is attitude? And spicy? And hot? And fuck?”
