Chapter 1316: Changes in The Region of the Eight Corners!
“Lin Feng is back and wants to see all of us in the Great Palace?”
When Bao Sha heard Lin Feng was back, he left the cave world and headed to the central part of Man Yu. The leaders of all territories except Xue Yu and Gan Yu ca over, even the old leader of Shi Yu ca personally.
The Five Territory Alliance and the United Allies of the Region of the Eight Corners were two different things. Lin Feng was the leader of the Region of the Eight Corners. So people didn’t want to submit, but nobody could face Lin Feng, since he was backed up by an overlord.

Half an hour later, in the eting hall of the great palace, ten people had gathered. Apart from Lin Feng, Miss Eight, and the two other Holy Godly Ancestors, there were six other people: Shi Yu, Bao Sha, Ta Han Yuan, Huang Lei, Li Ju, and Song Chou Jiu.
The atmosphere was silent. They had all heard about Qing Huang Tian’s suicide, and they all felt sad. At the sa ti, everybody admired Qing Huang Tian. She wanted to give her virginity to Lin Feng, but in the end, she had preferred dying to losing it with soone else. Lin Feng had then slaughtered many people, and Ni Huang hadn’t even done anything.
Sorrow… Rotten bodies. Love is boundless. The world is pain. Petals fall and burn. Snow can be seen through the windows, it’s bloodcurdlingly cold outside. Because of the fog, the earth and the sky make one.
Lin Feng sat down silently and thought of that poem. Since he had co back, he had been seated on that throne for a full day and night. He hadn’t slept. The Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points had co to greet him, but had left sighing right after.
Physical injuries could be healed easily. The wounds of the heart weren’t as easy to cure.
Song Chou Jiu understood Lin Feng. Qing Huang Tian had devoted her life to him. It was an honor and a huge source of sadness at the sa ti.
“Everybody is here,” Lin Feng said, raising his head and forcing a smile.
Ancestor Shi frowned. He didn’t appreciate Lin Feng’s behavior. Ruining everybody’s mood because of love was stupid. Sotis, one had to let bygones be bygones. If he was sad every ti he had a problem with a woman, things would be troubleso.
Ta Han Yuan thought Lin Feng had moral values and feelings, the two ingredients required to make a perfect man. In the future, he’d be an overlord. Everybody knew what it felt like to be heartbroken and sad.
“Today, I called you all to tell you that I want the Region of the Eight Corners to be one place only. I don’t want the Region of the Eight Corners to be divided into territories anymore. Of course, that’s my idea, and the Ancestor of the Five Cardinal Points doesn’t mind. What do you all think?
“But If only so territories agree, we can do it at a smaller scale; if so don’t agree, they will still be mbers of the United Allies of the Region of the Eight Corners, but they will just administer their own affairs,” Lin Feng said indifferently. It was supposed to be a great event, but Lin Feng wasn’t in the mood.
He sounded so apathetic. All the leaders were astonished. One place? No more regions? That sounded absurd. The Region of the Eight Corners had existed for such a long ti. How could they ss with it like that? What about the honor and territory of their respective territories?
Didn’t Lin Feng care? Did he act without thinking carefully?
“I refuse,” said Ancestor Shi. He was the first one to do so. He couldn’t let such an absurd thing happen. Shi Yu was Shi Yu. How could Shi Yu disappear? What would be the advantage of the Alliance, then? They would have no sense of superiority anymore, either!
“I refuse too, Leader Lin. I know you are well-intentioned, but it would lead to too many disfunctions,” said Ta Han Yuan. He had been a leader for so many years in Jiao Yu, he didn’t want Jiao Yu to disappear. He would miss it.
“I agree. I think that way the Region of the Eight Corners will beco stronger, more stable, and people will work for the well being of everybody else and not just for their own interests. People will also respect each other more as compatriots,” said Huang Lei. He didn’t dare contradict Lin Feng. Zhuang Ling Yun had glanced at him in a way that indicated he had better not offend Lin Feng!
Therefore, he agreed. Huang Yu was already Zhuang Ling Yun’s. Huang Lei had to obey Zhuang Ling Yun’s orders.
“I agree. Sa reason as Huang Lei,” Li Ju nodded. Many people were stupefied, especially Ancestor Shi and Ta Han Yuan. How could Li Ju agree to dismantle Li Yu? They were in the top three of the region!
“Li Ju, what’s wrong with you?” asked Ancestor Shi curiously.
Li Ju popped his neck, and smiled when he saw everybody was staring at him, “I agree with the Leader, it’s as simple as that.”
“You…” Ancestor Shi was dumbstruck. Indeed, it was a perfectly valid reason. Could it be that he could contradict their Leader?
“I know why you’re worried. I’m thinking about everybody’s well-being, though. You think of the honor and integrity of your respective regions,” Lin Feng said
“I’ve thought of those things, but I’d like to ask you a question: what is the difference between the United Allies of the Region of the Eight Corners and the Region of the Eight Corners as one completely unified place? Which is better to make the Region of the Eight Corners rise and reach the clouds?” Lin Feng stared at all of them.
Everybody remained silent. They could hear everybody breathe. Ancestor Shi and Ta Han Yuan didn’t dare say anything. Li Ju supported Lin Feng. The others remained silent.
After a long ti, Ancestor Shi couldn’t help but smile wryly and shake his head. “Forget about it. I agree. For the Region of the Eight Corners and for a harmonious society!”
“I agree, too,” said Ta Han Yuan. After all, his grandson Ta Qi was Lin Feng’s disciple, they were like one family.
“I agree too,” Bao Sha nodded.
“I agree too,” Song Chou Jiu assented. He was now in charge of Xue Yu and Gan Yu.
Lin Feng understood why the Region of the Eight Corners hadn’t managed to reach the clouds before, why they had turned into a forgotten region, and were unable to shake the world. It was because most leaders were just content to exercise sovereignty over parts of the whole territory.
Every region was starting to have their own beliefs and cultures, so how could the Region of the Eight Corners beco powerful? Therefore, Lin Feng made that decision for the well-being of all.
It was the only way to help the Region of the Eight Corners beco powerful.
“Since you all agree, I announce the creation of a new entity!” Lin Feng smiled. It was the first ti he had smiled for real since he had co back from the Phoenix Clan. Everybody was happy, so it was worth it.
“Shi Yu, vice leader, manager of Jiao Yu’s territory. Ta Han Yuan and Ta Qi, managers of Li Yu; Master Li Ju, manager of Xue Yu.
“Huang Lei, manager of Shi Yu. Song Chou Jiu, manager of Gan Yu and Ye Yu; Master Bao Sha, manager of Huang Yu, I’ll loaf on the job, manager of Man Yu.
“Everybody, don’t be surprised. That’s the only way for the Region of the Eight Corners to beco stronger and stronger. If you manage regions that are not yours, you will really progress.
“Don’t think I haven’t thought about the details. From now on, all the territories you manage will have an exam every year. It will not consist of battles only. From now on, whenever soone breaks through to the Supre God, the Great Supre God and the Godly Ancestor layers, report to imdiately.
“And finally, we need to choose a place which will beco the most famous place of the Region of the Eight Corners,” Lin Feng said. He showed them he had thought of everything, so nobody would be angry.
Ancestor Shi was convinced. It might be a wonderful opportunity. The Region of the Eight Corners might beco extrely powerful, thanks to Lin Feng!
“Alright, everybody can go back. We’re done for today,” Lin Feng said, scratching his neck. He felt tired. After what had happened with Qing Huang Tian and everything, he needed to take a rest. He couldn’t be depressed forever, either.
He was going to face other dangers in the future, so he had to be clear-headed and ready. He couldn’t let won ruin his life.
After everybody bowed hand over fist, they all left. When they left, most of them initially went in the direction of their respective territories, before smiling wryly. That wasn’t the right direction, they were going to new territories!
“Master Bao Sha, Huang Yu is yours,” said Huang Lei, bowing hand over fist. He was worried about Huang Yu. Bao Sha nodded. Since he had a new territory, he had to manage it well.
“Everybody, don’t worry. Let’s focus. Lin Feng, that little boy, said we would have exams once a year, we have to do our best. We’ll see what happens in the end,” Ta Han Yuan smiled. It was the first ti he felt so happy. It felt like a new beginning, so he was even more motivated.
Ancestor Shi nodded as well. Even though Lin Feng didn’t organize everybody, Shi Yu was there and that was the most important thing. She would do her best for Jiao Yu.
Their future would be completely different from their past!
“See you!”
“I’m off.”
They said goodbye to each other and disappeared again. The order of the region had changed once again, and things beca completely different.
Song Chou Jiu was amazed. Lin Feng was so strong! With him, everything was changing!
