"Going out?" The man known as Lord Hong slightly lifted his eyelids and asked in a husky voice that was not the usual huskiness, but rather a kind of stiffness that made people feel extrely uncomfortable.

"No, we’re just out for a bite to eat, right next door."

Sun Hao quickly flashed a smile and said.

Upon hearing Sun Hao’s words, Lord Hong imdiately closed his eyes again and said no more.

Both Sun Hao and the woman were very familiar with Lord Hong’s temperant, knowing he didn’t like to talk much and didn’t appreciate others wasting his ti with chatter, so they dared not bother him further and headed straight to a corner table.

No sooner had they stepped out than several burly figures, who had been standing at various corners of the bar, ca up respectfully and said, "Brother Hao, Sister Hua."

"Get soone to go out and grab us so food, anything will do. Oh, and those skewers from yesterday were good—get a few of those for . The rest of you, go back to what you were doing."

Sun Hao waved his hand and then pulled the woman to sit down at their usual spot in the farthest corner of the room.

"Yes."

A few suit-clad big n nodded hurriedly, one quickly making his way to the bar entrance, while the others quickly returned to their posts.

"Business at the bar has been getting worse lately."

After the n had left, Sun Hao leaned back on the sofa, scanned the bar with a cold gaze, and let out a light sigh. From his corner, he could see the entire bar at a glance.

"Giggle, oh my goodness, since when did you start caring about the business of this little bar, Brother Hao? You’re killing with laughter. Please, Master Hao, don’t be so hilarious!"

The woman, upon hearing Sun Hao’s sigh, paused for a mont and then burst into giggles, clutching her stomach as if she had heard the funniest joke in the world.

"Cough, well, you can’t really say that, actually, I’ve always cared about the bar’s business."

Watching the woman laughing uncontrollably, Sun Hao coughed awkwardly, but then quickly tried to sound more serious.

"I can’t take it, Master Hao, you can’t be this funny, giggle..."

The n standing in various corners of the bar as well as the early bar patrons, upon hearing this laughter, all turned their gazes to its source, but after a quick glance and recognizing the key figures, they imdiately turned away, not daring to look again, while the bar’s managent aptly turned up the music.

.....

Fenghua Bar wasn’t in a very conspicuous location; although it was said to be on Three River Avenue, Xiao Yi only realized upon arrival that it was just a small lane with a total of two lanes, single direction, one lane.

After finally finding the place, Xiao Yi looked up at the huge sign flashing neon colors, a faint smile curling up at the corner of his mouth as he slowly made his way toward the entrance.

"Hello, sir, welco!"

As soon as Xiao Yi entered the lobby, a waiter ca up to greet him.

"Call Sun Hao for ."

Xiao Yi said indifferently.

"Sir, what did you say?"

The waiter was stunned, thinking he had heard wrong. He had been welcoming guests at the door for so ti now, greeting everyone with a formulaic smile, politely ushering them in, and then bowing as they walked past. He noticed that about sixty percent of people ignored him completely, another twenty percent might grunt a response without looking at him, and a few would glance his way, with a rare few saying thank you. He had grown accustod, or perhaps numb, to this routine. He would bow and then turn his gaze back to the entrance to welco the next guest.

But this man had actually asked him to find soone?

"Call Sun Hao to co out."

Xiao Yi repeated his request.

"Sir, are you looking for soone? I’m sorry, but our bar is always busy with traffic, and we never ask custors their nas. If you need to find soone, you’ll have to go in and look for them yourself."

The waiter finally understood and replied with a formulaic smile, politely.

"Oh, is that so? Then I’ll just find him myself."

A slight smile appeared on Xiao Yi’s lips, and as he spoke, his hand moved. He grabbed the waiter by the collar and lifted him up, then threw him out.

"Ah!"

The waiter hadn’t even had ti to process what was happening when he suddenly felt his collar tighten and his body soar into the air. As he saw himself falling towards the ground, his face turned pale and he involuntarily let out a cry of alarm. Just when he thought he was in for a rough landing, he suddenly felt himself collide with soone, and then he was lying on top of that person.

"Can’t you watch where you’re going?"

The one the waiter had landed on was a bouncer who had been standing nearby, surveying the bar for any troublemakers. Suddenly, he felt a trendous force hit him, and before he could react, he found himself involuntarily on the ground with soone on top of him.

When he recognized it was the waiter, he angrily said.

"Ah, no, Brother Liu, I..."

The waiter also recognized who he had fallen on and imdiately turned red with anxiousness, starting to explain. He had been working here long enough to witness the rough thods these guys employed. Just a few days ago, a young white-collar worker who had had too much to drink and broke a few bottles was instantly beaten until he broke an arm for cursing at them when they demanded he pay. If he offended these guys, losing his job would be the least of his worries—his life might well be at stake.

But before he could finish explaining, he was cut off by the angry bouncer who shouted, "What do you an you? Can’t you walk without bumping into things?"
