By his side stood an emaciated old man, a stark contrast to his tall fra, almost like a shadow, whose voice was seldom heard by others. Both simply stood quietly, eyes slightly closed, without making a sound.

Behind them stood two n in suits and leather shoes, expressionless, standing motionless, not even blinking, resembling lifeless wooden sculptures.

Next to them, the dining table in the living room had transford into a modern information lab with three or four computers and so unidentifiable equipnt, completely occupying the sizable dining table. In front of the computers sat several n, also in suits, appearing like modern urban elites, intently staring at the computer screens, fingers occasionally tapping on the keyboards.

From the devices beside the computers, a clear dialogue emitted without any interference.

On the living room floor lay a man in his forties, his clothes in disarray and his deanor utterly disheveled, slumped on the wooden floor. This man was the bodyguard brought by Shen Xiaoxiao to protect the villa, who had reached the Bone Tempering Period, but now, he looked nothing like the master of the Bone Tempering realm he once was!

Hearing the dialogue coming from the machine, and looking toward the group in the living room, his face couldn’t help revealing a genuine expression of terror.

In his lifeti, he had rarely felt true fear.

Especially since he had been fortunate enough to set foot on the martial path and truly enter the Bone Tempering Period, a realm that brought him unimaginable and wondrous strength, his courage had grown, and his fear had diminished.

But this ti, he truly felt chilled to the bone!

They were too terrifying. He hadn’t even had ti to react before he crumpled to the ground powerless. He didn’t know which one of them had struck, let alone send a ssage to warn others. It seed as if any one of this group was an unfathomably frightening existence.

And what was more terrifying were their thods!

They so effortlessly intercepted the conversation between his charge and the young miss of the family—a clear indicator that they had completely locked on to the target he was supposed to protect!

This was indeed like the presence of devils!

"The target is moving in this direction and will arrive in about ten minutes,"

When the voice from the device abruptly stopped, the silver-haired old man sitting in the center of the sofa suddenly opened his eyes. Sensing his gaze, a man sitting in front of the computer quickly stood up and respectfully said,

"Good!"

The old man suddenly shouted, his face displaying a pair of eyes full of authority, shooting out a thread of cold light, "Today, I shall see for myself exactly who this youngster is!"

"Grandfather... please avenge !"

In his mind, the old man saw his most beloved grandson lying on the sickbed, paralyzed and pale, with a look of imnse pain in his eyes.

Feeling the icy glare and the dreadful pressure exuding from the old man, almost everyone’s expression trembled, including the two n in black suits standing like statues behind him, whose eyes flashed with a mont of fear.

The bodyguard who had been responsible for the villa’s security and now lay on the ground felt as though he couldn’t catch his breath, as if crushed by a massive weight, and he slumped down once again.

In the entire villa, only one person’s expression remained unchanged—the gaunt old man in front of the elder—he seed genuinely to have dozed off, completely oblivious to any movent outside.

Who would have thought that as soon as they spoke of the devil, he would arrive! They really ca so quickly!

Stepping into Azure Waterfront, Xiao Yi’s Spiritual Sense felt a powerful presence from the direction of the villa while still about thirty feet away.

Almost instantly, he was certain that the approaching people were undoubtedly from the Liu Family.

His steps involuntarily halted, his gaze fixed on the villa as he took a deep breath.

Let et these so-called formidable experts of the Liu Family and see just how powerful they really are!

After a while, Xiao Yi’s gaze slowly lifted, his lips curving into a cold smile. His eyes glead with an unprecedented fervor and determination for battle, as he took asured steps toward the villa.

Xiao Yi cultivated the Carefree True Scripture, and what he practiced was the Carefree True Qi. The Carefree True Scripture might seem ethereal and detached, but only those who have truly witnessed it know that this ’carefree’ is not the sa as any other!

This Carefree True Scripture is unrivaled in its ferocity, by the na of carefree alone; in heaven and on earth, I am the sovereign, rejoicing in my carefree way!

And only as the sovereign can one truly be carefree!

Xiao Yi himself didn’t realize that, from the mont he started practicing the Carefree True Scripture, his personality was already determined. His character would harbor an indescribable spirit of dominance and battle intent. This battle intent would grow increasingly prominent as his Cultivation Power and realm improved.

Back in the day, when he faced the beardless, pale-faced man, the battle intent and arrogance inherently within him had begun to show signs of surfacing. It was precisely that pride and battle intent that enabled him to muster that powerful strike under such circumstances!

Now, his realm and strength had improved significantly, and the domineering spirit within his heart had beco even stronger. He was even less likely to flee without even daring to confront the opponent, out of fear of their strength.

"Here it cos!"

The mont Xiao Yi’s footsteps entered the villa, the expressions of two n in black suits inside, who were as still as statues, flickered. A complex look appeared in their eyes as they turned their gaze towards the front of the villa.

At least this kid knows what’s good for him, not running away!

A cold smile crept onto the lips of the silver-haired elder. His previously relaxed figure sitting in the sofa suddenly tensed up and a formidable aura burst forth from him in an instant.

The elder who had been squinting beside him, seemingly asleep, suddenly opened his eyes. So murkiness in his gaze was replaced by surprise, followed by contemplation.

The man lying on the ground changed his expression instantly too. He looked at the villa’s entrance with undisguised terror, shaking his head vigorously. He struggled to say sothing, but unfortunately, no matter how hard he tried, no sound ca from his mouth. His throat seed to be choked by so invisible force, making even breathing increasingly difficult.

"Click!"

With a crisp sound, the villa’s front door was pushed open.

Xiao Yi’s sowhat lean figure slowly appeared at the doorway, taking steps towards the villa’s hall.

Upon entering, his gaze imdiately focused on the silver-haired elder sitting on the sofa, his expression becoming stern.

Powerful!

Extrely powerful!

This was a formidable opponent unlike any he had encountered before!

That was Xiao Yi’s first impression of the old man upon crossing the entrance.

Xiao Yi’s hands clenched tightly, the Carefree True Qi inside him whirling madly, contending against the oppressing might radiating from the elder. With each step forward, he felt as though he was moving an imnse object, the effort evident. A faint sheen of sweat began to manifest on his slightly pale yet handso face.

This old man was indeed more powerful than he had anticipated!

"Gentlen, coming uninvited isn’t very polite, is it?"

After several frantic cycles of the Carefree True Qi within him, Xiao Yi managed to stop so fifty steps away from the elder, fixing him with a direct gaze.

He could still speak!

The mont Xiao Yi spoke, almost everyone inside the house was stunned!

Especially the two n in black suits behind the silver-haired elder, their eyes nearly popping out!

It was incredibly unbelievable!

They simply couldn’t believe it!

One must understand that the pressure of the elder’s aura was indiscriminate. The mont Xiao Yi entered the villa and the elder released his aura, they all nearly felt completely suffocated, unable to move an inch, as if the very air had bound them. Fear, dread, and other complex emotions had totally consud their hearts. Not to ntion stepping forward under such pressure and uttering a sound!

The weakest person in the room, who lay on the floor, was nearly at the point of passing out from agony. Upon hearing Xiao Yi’s words, his eyes almost popped out!

How could this be ... He was just an ordinary person, shouldn’t he be paling with fright and kneeling upon seeing this group of terrifying and mysterious individuals? Moreover, how could he speak under such imnse pressure?

Could it be that the elder’s aura and pressure were only directed at him?
