(Today is said to be the Western holiday of Christmas Eve, although I hardly ever celebrate this holiday, I still wish every fan of masters out there a lifeti of peace and safety, happy holidays!)

———————————————————————————————

The surrounding students all felt Xiao Yi’s dominance and pressure, but compared to Wang Qiang, who was at the eye of this storm, what they felt was insignificant.

In that instant, Wang Qiang almost thought the person before him wasn’t Xiao Yi, but the uncle from the Gao Family whom he respected the most. No, even more frightening—it felt like more pressure than when facing that uncle from the Gao Family. He felt as if he could hardly breathe, and his legs trembled nonstop.

Especially when Xiao Yi’s gaze turned towards him, he felt those eyes could materialize into substance, like the icy glint of a sword.

The mont his gaze t Xiao Yi’s, he couldn’t help but lower his head and apologized to Xiao Yi, "I’m sorry!"

"You bumped into him, not !"

Xiao Yi was not satisfied and pointed at Fatty Tang next to him.

"I’m sorry!"

After his face turned from pale to red, Wang Qiang gritted his teeth, turned his head, and slightly bowed to Fatty Tang, saying another "I’m sorry."

After he finished speaking, he felt as if all the surrounding gazes were mocking him, and his head hung so low that it felt like it would press against his chest and couldn’t be raised again.

"Let’s go."

Xiao Yi then let out a satisfied sigh, glanced at Li Han who was standing next to him clenching his fists with a resentful look in his eyes, patted the sowhat bewildered Fatty Tang on the face, and turned to leave the classroom.

"Xiao Yi is really domineering!"

"Yeah, who would have thought, so ferocious, he’s got the Four Young Evil Masters thoroughly under control!"

"Ferocious? I think he’s just a fool. What’s the big deal about the Four Young Evil Masters? We live in a society where power is everything. Does he think he’s great just because he knows a little Kung Fu? He’s feeling good now, but I’m afraid he won’t be able to hang around Z University much longer."

"I think he must be more than just soone who knows a little Kung Fu, otherwise, he couldn’t have been hanging around Z University until now. Besides, even if he really has no power or influence, it wouldn’t be easy for the Four Young Evil Masters to kick him out of the school, would it?"

"Hmm, that seems likely..."

"Anyway, our School of Mathematics seems to belong to Xiao Yi now. The Four Young Evil Masters are just like bugs in front of him, obediently stepping aside."

"..."

As soon as the figures of Xiao Yi and Fatty Tang disappeared at the classroom door, the crowd that had gathered around dispersed in a flurry, whispering and discussing the scene that had just unfolded.

Xiao Yi!

Listening to the fragnted whispers around them, Li Han and Wang Qiang stood there, feeling their cheeks burning with humiliation, more painful than being slapped hard across the face.

Both of their faces turned ashen, their fists clenched tightly, and a look of deep bitterness shone in their eyes.

......

"Boss, actually, we don’t need to compete with them. Now that we’ve seriously offended them, I’m afraid they’ll co up with sneaky plots to harm you in the future."

As they walked out of the classroom, Fatty Tang looked at Xiao Yi beside him with a mix of admiration and worry. Xiao Yi seed as if nothing had happened, cool as a breeze, calm as the clouds.

"Do you think I hadn’t seriously offended them before? If I didn’t take such a strong stance today, do you think they wouldn’t concoct so sche to get back at ?"

Xiao Yi turned his head and retorted.

"This..."

Fatty Tang was at a loss for words. To say that Gao Junjie and his group wouldn’t seek revenge against Xiao Yi was sothing not even he could convince himself of. He understood them too well. Even a slight affront to their dignity was enough for them to seek retribution, let alone the fact that Xiao Yi had beaten them up several tis, effectively humiliating them.

"Don’t worry, those minor jesters can’t touch . You know, sotis you shouldn’t be too cautious. When it’s ti to make a move, you have to do it. When there’s sothing worth fighting for, you must fight for it. As a man standing in this world, it’s fine to ’hide your capacities and bide your ti,’ to exercise patience and know when to bend. But if you bend for too long, if it becos a habit, you may never be able to straighten up again."

Xiao Yi gently patted Fatty Tang on the shoulder, giving him a aningful look. After speaking his piece, Xiao Yi turned and walked ahead. He had made his point; how much Fatty Tang would understand depended on his own fate and insight.

Fatty Tang stood there, transfixed by Xiao Yi’s retreating figure. The words Xiao Yi had said rang incessantly in his ears. Sothing seed to be stirring in his chest, his hefty fra shivering slightly, and a mist ford in his eyes.

After a good while, he exhaled a long breath. A resolute look flashed across his narrow, squinted eyes as he clenched his huge fists and quickened his pace to catch up with Xiao Yi.

The two walked to the school gate without speaking further. Fatty Tang’s initial nervousness was gone, seemingly lost in thought. He hailed a taxi, gave an address, and then fell silent again. Xiao Yi didn’t say anything either, leaning on the window, observing the scenery of G City outside.

"Boss, thank you!"

After a long ti, Fatty Tang finally turned his head, his eyes full of gratitude as he looked at Xiao Yi. His expression was firm as he solemnly said, "I definitely won’t let you down!"

"I believe you."

Xiao Yi smiled slightly, his face expressing contentnt. He had an intuition that Fatty Tang was beginning to change. Xiao Yi knew that so changes didn’t happen overnight, but one thing was certain: he hadn’t misjudged Fatty Tang. Deep within his heart, there still flickered an unextinguished spirit. Given enough ti and under his influence, with enough confidence, Xiao Yi believed that Fatty Tang could certainly regain his courage and shed the timidity within.

"Fatty Tang, are you sure your friend lives here?"

After getting out of the taxi and following Fatty Tang, Xiao Yi couldn’t help frowning. He had never been here before, but judging from the fact that the taxi ter showed over a hundred yuan, it was clear they had left the center of G City far behind. The row upon row of old village houses was chaotic, with litter visible everywhere, sotis accompanied by buzzing flies. This place was even more desolate than the urban villages in the city center.

"It should be."

A hesitant look appeared on Fatty Tang’s face, as if he wasn’t certain.

"It should be?"

Xiao Yi imdiately stopped in his tracks, turned his head, and stared at Fatty Tang with widened eyes. Seeing the absolute lack of confidence on Fatty Tang’s face, a bad feeling suddenly arose in his heart. (To be continued.
