After returning to University Z with Wang Qingqing, Xiao Yi had planned to treat her to a al, but as usual, Wang Qingqing prevailed. She insisted that since they had saved money by taking the bus back and Xiao Yi had cured her aunt’s illness, she should be the one treating him to the al. Thus, Xiao Yi reluctantly found himself owing Wang Qingqing another al.
When they parted this ti, Wang Qingqing didn’t forget to ask for Xiao Yi’s phone number. Xiao Yi had already gotten a new number. Hearing her ask, he imdiately gave it to her and also saved her number, planning to return the two als he owed her the next ti he was free.
After the ordeal at the hospital and the lengthy conversation over lunch, Xiao Yi didn’t arrive back at Azure Waterfront until nearly one o’clock. Without further delay, he went straight to his bedroom, sat cross-legged, and started practicing the ntal thod of the Carefree True Scripture.
Perhaps because she was still being punished by her sister, Xiao Yi didn’t see Zeng Xiaoxiao in class that afternoon, and the Four Young Evil Masters were also nowhere to be seen, as if they had suddenly vanished. However, this was not necessarily a bad thing for him. If they had been around, Zeng Xiaoxiao might have sched to have him confront the Four Young Evil Masters again, which would have left him crying and laughing at the impossibility of the situation.
Moreover, without Zeng Xiaoxiao whispering in his ear, he could enjoy a bit of peace.
Unfortunately, his wish for peace was not to be fulfilled.
No sooner had the first class ended and the teacher left than a group of students dressed in Taekwondo uniforms surged into the classroom. This ti, they didn’t shout from the doorway but headed straight for Xiao Yi’s seat, familiar with the location from their previous visit.
The students in the class were now numb to such scenes, it seed that ever since Xiao Yi joined their class, there had been a continuous stream of troublemakers, including the Four Young Evil Masters, thugs from the society, and students from other classes in the school.
Because of this, they all kept their distance from Xiao Yi, with the exception of Fatty Tang Feng. Virtually no one dared to get close to Xiao Yi.
Seeing those in white Taekwondo uniforms charging towards him with nacing air, the students sitting near Xiao Yi quickly and wisely scattered away.
"Fatty, you should move too," Xiao Yi said.
Xiao Yi saw them too: a crowd dressed uniformly in Taekwondo uniforms, blatantly conspicuous. His eyes weren’t blind—it was hard to miss them. He really didn’t understand why these people loved wearing uniforms that looked like mourning clothes worn at a funeral. Wearing them in the training room was one thing, as a mark of respect for the rules, but flaunting them around campus all day seed foolish to him.
Watching the crowd charge towards him with clearly hostile intent, a faint smile ford on Xiao Yi’s lips. He felt it was ti to teach them a lesson as he gently pushed Fatty Tang sitting next to him.
"Boss, how could I leave? Although I know you’re tough, there are so many of them, and I can take down as many as I can," Tang Feng initially tensed up seeing those in white uniforms charging towards them. These individuals looked nothing like simple characters. Moreover, he had heard that these Taekwondo practitioners were under the charge of the Second Young Master of Li family, a figure more terrifying than the Four Young Evil Masters. The consequence of offending him was sothing Tang didn’t even dare contemplate.
But hearing what Xiao Yi said, Tang’s face turned red as he bravely maintained a righteous expression.
"Do you want to kick them out, or will you go on your own?"
Xiao Yi glared at Tang Feng. He wasn’t foolish, not to ntion that Zeng Xiaoxiao’s sister, Zeng Xiaoi, had already emphasized it to him that morning. Even without that, he could tell that the Li family guy was no simple matter. He knew Tang Feng’s current show of loyalty was just an act. Inside, Tang Feng was full of fear. The fear and hesitation that had shown on his face couldn’t escape his notice, but he himself didn’t want Tang Feng to offend him either. Unlike Tang Feng, if sothing went wrong, he could just leave without fearing retaliation, but Tang Feng had a family, making him an easy target for revenge.
Under these circumstances, for him to say such a thing, no matter what his mindset was at the ti, Xiao Yi was quite satisfied.
"Then... Boss, be careful out there."
When Xiao Yi glared at him, Tang Feng didn’t feel fear but rather a tremor of gratitude. He didn’t insist further and, after carefully speaking out, he bit his lip and quickly moved away from him, retreating into the crowd of onlookers nearby.
When a group in white approached Xiao Yi, a clear space had already been made around him within a three-ter radius. Of course, it wasn’t truly empty since the university classroom desks were fixed to the ground and immovable.
"Kid, you actually didn’t run. You’ve got guts!"
The leading man was slightly astonished to see Xiao Yi had not run away but was calmly standing there, waiting for them to co over, a hint of a cold smile forming at his mouth.
"You’ve got so nerve too, actually daring to co over. Where’s your boss? Why didn’t he show up? Got scared by a curse?"
Xiao Yi’s gaze swept through the crowd, his mouth curling into a sneer. Earlier, he had glanced from afar and it seed like he hadn’t seen Li Ziming, almost thinking he was hiding behind. He hadn’t expected him to actually not co.
"Hmph, dealing with a bumpkin like you doesn’t require Young Master Li to personally step in; we are enough!"
The leader was stung by Xiao Yi’s words, his face turning red with anger as he barked back.
"Is that so? Then why did he co rushing over last ti?"
A sneer curled the corners of Xiao Yi’s mouth.
"You... punk, your mouth is truly nasty. I really want to see if your skills are as sharp as your tongue!"
The leading man choked on Xiao Yi’s words once more, nearly unable to speak from anger before he finally regained his composure, his mouth curving into a cold smile as he waved his hand.
"You little rascal!"
"Eat your grandpa’s foot!"
"..."
With the leader’s hand signal, several n beside him burst out in furious shouts and simultaneously aid kicks at different parts of Xiao Yi’s body, each kick ruthlessly powerful, all with the fierce intent to cripple Xiao Yi.(To be continued.
