Judging from the words on the rice paper, the hut owner seed to harbor a deep resentnt towards warriors. It appears the owner himself was not a warrior, otherwise, why would he not use the Enlightennt Seed?
Of course, for the powerful with high realms, the Enlightennt Seed may not be effective, but the intervention in the process of experinting and cultivating Transformation Flowers could potentially affect their power. Few warriors would dare interfere with it.
Shaking his head, Shi Xiaole discarded these distracting thoughts.
No matter who the owner of the hut was or where he is now, it had nothing to do with him at the mont. All he needed to do was seize the present and put all his effort into improving himself.
Sitting on a rectangular mat, the aura of the Enlightennt Seed perated Shi Xiaole’s pores and drilled into his mind.
In an instant, Shi Xiaole’s brain was filled with flashing currents, and various extraordinary phenona erged before his eyes - gusts of wind, ferocious demons, and illusory sun and moon.
The human body contains infinite potential, even for warriors this potential is only realized to a very tiny fraction.
Triggered by the aura of the Enlightennt Seed, Shi Xiaole’s potential was being tapped. Wave after wave of images flooded his mind, making him feel intimately familiar. These were true interpretations being ignored in his subconscious, they were beginning to play a substantial role now.
About two 2-hour periods later.
Shi Xiaole’s hair started to move without wind. The wind speed gradually accelerated until it ford a whirlwind, enveloping him completely. Bizarrely though, the air flow outside of his three-ter radius was extrely calm, without a sound of wind.
The whirlwind dissipated.
Centered around Shi Xiaole, the ground within a radius of ten ters was marked with countless mottled and intersecting traces, each of the sa depth and thickness.
If you got closer, you could feel a faint fickle sword intent from the traces.
"Wind True Intent, has reached 30%."
Shi Xiaole took a deep breath.
30% Wind True Intent, equivalent to 40% of a top-tier True Intent, and 50% of ordinary True Intent. What did that an?
Most middle-level masters of Dragon Gate Realm haven’t achieved this level of True Intent. Only the extrely formidable ones, like those in the league of Crown Sword Marquis, barely manage to accomplish this.
In other words, Shi Xiaole’s current level of True Intent could be compared to Crown Sword Marquis.
"Wind True Intent should be my strongest True Intent now, but in terms of potential, Demonic True Intent and Illusion True Intent are even greater."
Closing his eyes, Shi Xiaole continued his ditation.
Soon after, a violent, barbaric, and even sinister aura burst out from Shi Xiaole, casting a shadow over his jade-like face. He looked like a demon in the night, mysterious and unfathomable.
If any ordinary person were present, their resolve, if slightly weak, might be scared stupid by this montum.
Thinking back to his experiences in Spring Wind Hell, Shi Xiaole’s heart was full of hatred. This hatred was integrated into the sinister aura, making the demon form above his head seem three tis more realistic.
Three 2-hour periods later, the black aura receded.
Demonic True Intent shockingly reached the second level!
Shi Xiaole didn’t know if it was his imagination, but after retracting the Demonic True Intent, his temperant seed more handso and attractive than before, like a piece of jade washed with water. It faintly exuded a sense of sacred brilliance, as if detached from the filth of the mundane world.
After Demonic True Intent, it was Illusion True Intent next.
Invisible illusory aura circulated from Shi Xiaole’s pores, interweaving, causing the void to distort inexplicably.
Looking at it, it seed like one could see through Shi Xiaole and view the scene behind him clearly. But the scene behind him wasn’t the hut, but two suns and moons reflected off each other.
At so point, the void was flattened again.
"What a pity."
Shi Xiaole shook his head, sowhat disappointed.
The Illusion True Intent had a far greater connection to ntal power compared to Wind True Intent and Demonic True Intent. Thus, under the circumstances where Shi Xiaole’s ntal power was restrained, his comprehension speed was inevitably greatly affected, ultimately stopping at the peak of the first level.
If there were more Enlightennt Seeds, perhaps the Illusion True Intent could reach the 20% level.
However, being able to improve two top-tier True Intents in one session had already greatly exceeded Shi Xiaole’s expectations. Under normal circumstances, even with his comprehension, it would take an unknown amount of ti and energy to improve one top-tier True Intent.
It could be said that in just half a day, Shi Xiaole made a leap in his strength. This leap was more valuable than cultivation progress to a certain extent.
After all, one’s cultivation could always be enhanced, albeit at a slower pace. But mastery over True Intent, if one was unfortunate, getting stuck for ten to twenty years was quite normal.
"I wonder what level my strength has specifically reached."
Dragon Gate Realm masters, when divided according to strength, can be split into several levels.
For instance, for interdiate-level Dragon Gate Realm masters, those who don’t cultivate lower-tier top-notch martial arts are undoubtedly the weakest tier. Those who have cultivated lower-tier top-notch martial arts but haven’t reached the full potential are the mid-tier.
But this doesn’t include the achievent in True Intent. If we factor that in, it’s truly hard to determine.
According to current standards in the Martial World, interdiate-level Dragon Gate Realm masters, who’ve mastered lower-tier top-notch martial arts and have reached 30% in top-tier True Intent, are categorized into the strongest tier.
The reason they don’t consider mid-tier top-notch martial arts is because they are too rare to be of any reference.
From this point of view, Shi Xiaole’s current strength should be enough to kill more than ninety-nine percent of interdiate-level Dragon Gate Realm masters instantly. Though, without a real fight, it’s hard to determine accurately.
Walking out of the hut, Shi Xiaole looked at the withered flowers on both sides.
After nurous trials, the hut owner cultivated the Mutation Transformation Flower, but it was not perfect. Therefore, once it lacked sothing, it would regress into seeds.
Regarding the seeds of the Mutation Transformation Flower near the Divine Transformation Tree, they were likely brought by the Black Bees that also mutated after feeding on the seeds.
Everything was clear now.
Shi Xiaole felt that he had inadvertently stumbled upon a monstrous conspiracy hidden beneath the Martial World. When it eventually erupts, it’ll surely set off huge waves!
"Let’s leave Boundless Hell first."
Following the original path, Shi Xiaole successfully passed the female statue. With a leap, he quickly flew out of the hole at the root of the Divine Transformation Tree. This ti, he felt no need to hide his tracks.
Buzz, buzz.
Upon detecting a slight movent, the black bees swooped down like a black tornado.
Shi Xiaole deftly swung his sword once.
The black tornado was imdiately bisected by a more ferocious cyan Sword Qi, sending huge clusters of black bees flying in all directions, disintegrating into fine particles in mid-air.
Sheathing his sword, Shi Xiaole vanished from the Divine Transformation cave in the blink of an eye, his every step covering ten zhangs.
"Deputy City Lord Shi, you’re finally back."
Elder Ma had been anxiously waiting for Shi Xiaole’s return. Seeing the silhouette appearing in front of him, his heart descended from his throat, and he sighed deeply in relief.
"We should leave now."
Said Shi Xiaole.
The face of Elder Ma lit up with joy, "Have the black bees returned to their nests?"
"Sort of,"
Whether the black bees returned to their nest or not, they couldn’t harm Shi Xiaole now.
"Hahaha, I’ve finally been waiting for this mont. Deputy City Lord Shi, let’s go to the cave entrance and take a look. We can also inform the people outside to clean up the bodies, and arrange for new people to co in and assist us in the cleanup task."
Not long after, the two arrived at the cave entrance.
Unable to hold his excitent, Elder Ma yelled, "The black bees have retreated, quickly dismantle the Divine Transformation Array System!"
Outside the Divine Transformation cave.
Weng Ming pursed his lips.
Almost a day had passed, and he had no idea how many people were still alive inside. He wanted to continue to delay and procrastinate, but doing so would only make his intentions plainly obvious to anyone--even a fool. If this were brought to the City Lord’s attention, he wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.
"Dismantle the array."
Weng Ming waved.
The air at the entrance of the cave beca misty, and two figures walked out. Seeing the young man in a cyan robe on the left, Weng Ming’s face darkened instantly. This boy had the luck of a dog!
"Deputy City Lord Shi, 103 people went in, and only two survived. As the person in charge, how do you explain this to the City Lord?"
Weng Ming glanced into the cave, didn’t find anyone else, and sneered coldly.
He understood better than many that the City Lord, who was seemingly aloof, was actually very strict about law enforcent because he despised everything else. In anything, he didn’t care about the process, just the result.
With heavy losses suffered by the City Lord Mansion, as the person in charge, Shi Xiaole was to bla.
"I was wondering why it happened, but now I know it was you sabotaging."
Shi Xiaole nodded.
"Don’t slander without evidence! Shi, I advise you to seek the City Lord’s forgiveness as soon as possible, he may consider a lighter punishnt."
With a flick of his sleeve, Weng Ming was prepared to go and complain.
Unexpectedly at this mont, Shi Xiaole pointed at him.
"You dare!"
Weng Ming shouted, but before he could make a move, his palm was pierced by the pointed force. The residual force continued on, piercing through his arm and chest, causing blood to splatter all around.
The dramatic change stunned everyone present.
"You, you dared to kill , the City Lord will never let you go."
Weng Ming, with eyes full of resentnt and disbelief, stared, with his old face contorted. He couldn’t believe Shi Xiaole had such audacity.
"Believe , I killed you, no one dares to say anything."
Shi Xiaole said indifferently.
Hearing this, Weng Ming quivered, fell backward, and died imdiately.
Without casting another glance at Weng Ming, Shi Xiaole stepped forward.
"Deputy City Lord Shi, where are you going?"
Elder Ma, coming out of his shock, shouted, "We still have our duties! Even if the City Lord favors you, he will still enforce the law."
"There won’t be any so-called duties from now on."
The baffling words uttered by Shi Xiaole left Elder Ma dumbfounded and puzzled. Watching the young man walking away, he felt a pounding in his chest and realized that sothing major was about to happen.
...
City Lord Mansion.
"Stop! This is a restricted area of the City Lord Mansion. Unless ordered by the City Lord, no one is allowed in."
At a manor’s exterior, two guards stopped Shi Xiaole with angry stares.
"I have an urgent matter to discuss with the City Lord."
Shi Xiaole stated.
"Nonsense! It’s always been the City Lord summoning others, since when was it your turn to find him?"
One guard shouted.
The commotion here was quite significant and soon many people, including the Grand Elders and managers residing in the City Lord Mansion, ca to see. The eyes that looked at Shi Xiaole were filled with relish and sympathy.
