Like a tranquil pond suddenly disturbed, massive waves exploded forth. This day, the world of East Victory was subrged by an overwhelming force capable of toppling heaven and earth.
Countless ordinary people trembled in their legs, nurous martial artists stood with vacant expressions.
In all their lives, they could never have imagined soone’s presence could reach such extres; it felt as if a re wisp of breath from afar could easily annihilate them.
"What on earth are these..."
Atop Hundred Battles Peak, in the heart of Hundred Battles Tower, Great Battles Emperor opened his mouth.
"It must be the Sky Origin Realm Supre Lords, just as the main house master said. They have collectively erged!"
The Spirit Ink Emperor beside him took several breaths, yet even so, he could not suppress the trembling of his heart by the slightest.
This world could finally accommodate Supre Lords again; did this not an that Supre Lords from beyond the heavens would also be crossing over?
"We must prepare ourselves. Maybe the second great war of heaven and earth is about to comnce, and it will be more brutal than the first!"
The war back then had cracked the entire world, dividing it into the continent of East Victory and the South Sea. The once-glorious martial civilization had never recovered since. After 160,000 years, it had only just begun to revive.
Just as they were entering a new period of prosperity, perhaps even surpassing ancient tis, the second great war of heaven and earth seed on the verge of breaking out.
This ti, could East Victory fend off the demons? And what would remain of the entire world?
Suddenly, Great Battles Emperor felt lost and afraid.
With his strength, he considered himself no more than a slightly stronger lamb before any of that force; he lacked even the qualification to take part in the great battle.
...
After more than two years of construction, a city wall a thousand zhang high and three zhang thick, snaking like a dragon, lay across the chasm, splitting it in two. In the center of the city wall, three awe-inspiring characters were engraved — East Victory City!
In Shi Xiaole’s previous life, building such a wall in two years would’ve been unthinkable. It was a task that couldn’t be accomplished even in hundreds of years. Yet, even with the abilities of East Victory’s martial artists, it had been an arduous effort.
Besides the wall, East Victory City’s internal facilities were very basic, with only the simplest living accommodations and food shops. The majority of the stationed martial artists still slept under the skies.
Atop East Victory Peak, Che Renzhong suddenly tensed all over, as if facing a formidable enemy.
In the void before him, a beautiful woman in apricot-yellow robes slowly erged. With a graceful figure and a gentle deanor, she appeared as frail as a willow in the wind. Yet, looking at her, Che Renzhong felt the illusion of gazing up at the starry sky.
A Supre Lord — she was a Supre Lord!
"You’re the strongest here, and your strength is not bad. How many people of your level are there in East Victory now?"
The woman in the yellow robe asked.
Her voice carried a power that made it impossible to refuse. Che Renzhong replied, "There are three."
The woman in the yellow robe’s expression remained calm, but her heart was filled with extre disappointnt.
A master like Che Renzhong, if placed 160,000 years ago, would at best be ranked among the top thousand, or perhaps not even that. Yet, in today’s world, he was considered among the top three.
Even though she had anticipated this, the woman in the yellow robe couldn’t help but shake her head.
"There is one person stronger than by two degrees, but he is not a Supre Lord," Che Renzhong added.
The woman in the yellow robe did not take this to heart. No matter how strong, he was just a giant; irrelevant in the grand sche of battle.
"Fairy Xinluo, I didn’t expect you to be the first to arrive."
With a hearty laugh, another Supre Lord descended upon East Victory Peak, an elder with red hair and yellow skin.
If the woman in the yellow robe was a piece of the starry sky, then this old man was a moving super volcano. Where he stood, the heaven and earth turned a fiery red, as if erupting with energy at any mont.
Che Renzhong, standing a thousand ters away, felt as if his Vigorous Air was tinged with the urge to ignite.
"Fire Lord, it’s been many years since I last saw you. Your cultivation seems to have made no small progress," Fairy Xinluo, the woman in the yellow robe, said with a smile.
"The sa to you," the Fire Lord squinted, appraising Fairy Xinluo.
She might not be as strong as him, but as the Holy Empress’s chief disciple, her expertise in the Array System was a true inheritance from the Holy Empress. Back then, being just over ten thousand years old, her overall strength ranked her within the top fifty. Now, she was likely even more formidable.
Soon, one Supre Lord after another made their descent onto East Victory Peak. With wildly differing yet equally terrifying presences, each ford their own realm. The void thundered ominously, and the peak itself seed as if it couldn’t bear their weight, as though it would collapse.
"Junior Sister."
Upon seeing a woman in pink clothing, Fairy Xinluo finally revealed a smile. The others showed varying expressions.
The woman in pink was the Holy Empress’s second disciple, Red Jade Saint. Her natural talent in the Array System even surpassed her senior sister, Fairy Xinluo, and she was acknowledged as second only to the Holy Empress.
"Senior Sister, where are master and grandmaster?" Red Jade Saint looked around.
Fairy Xinluo did not respond verbally, her lips moving silently for a few monts. Red Jade Saint showed a look of understanding.
The next mont.
Both won suddenly flew out at the sa ti, one to the left and one to the right, swiftly forming hand signs for the Array System, as countless threads of array patterns, like a chessboard grid, instantly covered the tens of millions of miles of the pit!
"Seal Heaven Array System, activate!"
Fairy Xinluo’s weapon was a palm-sized golden compass. Within its tremble, the face of the compass burst into bright light, and the threads of the array began to interweave in an orderly fashion.
The Red Jade Saint’s weapon was a child’s arm-length red jade Ruyi. With her vigorous powers, streams of red light shot out, infusing into the nodes of the array threads.
Sothing marvelous happened.
From high above, looking down at the array grids covering the pit, they abruptly divided into ten portions, each flying off and quickly integrating with the Ten Great Dangerous Places.
Hum!
At this mont, countless martial artists trapped within the Ten Great Dangerous Places suddenly found themselves in an unfamiliar world. They were unaware that they were now in the Overlapping Land.
With the joint effort of the Holy Empress’s two proudest disciples, they laid down the "Seal Heaven Array," an unprecedented formation in the world of East Victory, that instantaneously expelled everyone.
This was an icy cavern of absolute cold, where the deepest part reached absolute zero temperatures. In this environnt, not to ntion living beings, even microbes could not exist.
However, inside lived two people.
"Yu Ji, the ti has co."
The man in blue mask extended his hand, gently caressing the face of the woman in a deep slumber.
More than a thousand years ago, his wife was poisoned with "Accompany You to Hell," leaving her with a sliver of life. He had had no choice but to bring her to the frigid realms of Senluo, using the fate of Rainbow State to sustain her life fate, and had harvested countless precious and rare dicines to rid her of the toxin.
Nowadays, with the world’s fate restored to that of the ancient pinnacle and the Seal Heaven Array, containing the Holy Empress’s soul strength, activated, her life fate should also be reinvigorated.
Under the deep and affectionate gaze of the man in blue mask, the woman’s long eyelashes quivered slightly. Then, she slowly opened her eyes. Their gazes t, and a millennium-long entangled fate wrapped even tighter around them!
The couple simultaneously smiled and their bodies transford into dust particles, disappearing into the depths of the cavern.
Nogui Valley, one of the ultimate places in the South Sea.
There were also Shi Xuanzhong and Ling Yujie, with their hands tightly clasped, they stepped to the edge of the world and vanished into the vast sky together.
"Finally, this day has co. I’ve waited far too long."
On the land of the Western Region, a man as handso as a fairy ca out from the palace hall, looking up at the sky. Behind him stood the ruler of Zrin Kingdom, Er Pingzhi, and his sister Er Miba.
Looking at the back of the man in front of her, who resembled an exile from heaven, and recalling the joyous tis of the past few days, Er Miba couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sadness as if sothing she treasured most was about to leave her. She couldn’t help trembling as she asked, "National Master, what are you waiting for?"
"Pingzhi, Er Miba, I thank you for treating as family and giving your utmost trust. This ti has been the happiest of my life," the National Master said, smiling gently.
He had been swept into the endless void and perhaps by good fortune, he had managed to escape through a rift in the void. Afterwards, he began to wander the ends of the earth and suddenly felt an intuition, which brought him back to Zrin Kingdom.
Er Pingzhi mustered a slight smile and asked, "National Master, what do you an by that?"
"You’ve always wanted to know my real na. I am called Shi Xuanzhong, but... Shi Xuanzhong is not . He is a more complete and outstanding person. Farewell, I will always wish you well," the National Master said as he continued forward.
"No, no one could surpass you in Er Miba’s heart. National Master, Shi Xuanzhong, please don’t leave," Er Miba said, realizing sothing and suddenly rushing forward. But the National Master’s pace, though appearing slow, was actually extrely swift; in the blink of an eye, he was a thousand ters away.
He stopped abruptly, turned around, smiled, and bid a final farewell to this brother and sister who were like family, then continued forward without looking back.
"Shi Xuanzhong... where are you going? Soone, quick, stop him..." Er Miba cried out, tears streaming down her face.
A hand clasped hers; Er Pingzhi said, "We can’t stop him. What the National Master is about to do is certainly very important and nobody can stop him."
Turning to look up at the sky, they saw no trace of anyone, only geese flying past without a mark. To this brother and sister, wasn’t the National Master like that goose in the sky, within reach yet ultimately unattainable?
With moistening eyes, Er Pingzhi knew he would never see the man he respected greatly again, but he would live forever in his heart, beyond anyone’s power to take away.
On the grasslands, in the deserts, deep in the mountains, at this mont, different corners of the East Victory world had individuals stepping into void, vanishing without a trace.
Eventually, a total of twelve people appeared in the sea of flowers within the Life-and-Death Unfounded Cave. Four of them bore a striking resemblance to the man among the flowers, while the remaining eight, though diverse in appearance, all possessed incredibly powerful auras.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The twelve, grouped in threes, began to rge with one another, producing four overwhelming, unstoppable forces that swept across the eight deserts, making the Life-and-Death Unfounded Cave seem as if it were shaking.
Above their heads, the sky cracked open four large holes, and from each descended a series of apocalyptic thunderbolts, writhing like dragons and serpents, tearing everything apart!
After more than a whole 2-hour period.
The four identical new Supre Lords simultaneously rged into the body of the man among the flowers, causing his already surging aura to explosively rise to another unimaginable apex.
Clang!!
The world roared, and the apocalyptic thunderbolts that had just subsided were showing signs of forcibly reconvening, but this ti they were blood red, not blue and purple, containing the power to destroy the universe. Just as they began to radiate, they made the many Supre Lords watching secretly from all around shudder.
The man in the sea of flowers waved his hand, and with a bang the sea of blood-red thunderbolts scattered. He stood up, looking like a sun, but to the surrounding Supre Lords, he was ten tis more dazzling than the sun itself.
