Xia Liu smiled and said nothing.

The yacht dealership was quite large, with many yachts displayed inside, all lavishly decorated.

Those yachts were selling for millions or even tens of millions.

Xia Liu was not too interested in them, as his target was the fishing boat moored outside the dock.

"Miss, is your boss here?" Liu Lanxin asked directly as she approached the reception.

"He's in his office. Do you want

to let him know you're here?" The receptionist, accustod to people inquiring about the boss, did not find it strange.

"No need, I'll go find him myself." Liu Lanxin smiled radiantly, gesturing for Xia Liu to follow her upstairs.

Liu Lanxin confidently made her way to the second floor and then pushed open the office door.

"Uncle Ming, I'm here! Have you missed

all these days?"

Seeing the middle-aged man sitting in the office, Liu Lanxin greeted him cheerily.

Li Ming's expression turned bitter upon seeing Liu Lanxin, "Lanxin, why are you here?"

Indeed, Li Ming was afraid of Liu Lanxin.

A few months ago, Liu Lanxin had taken a yacht from his dealership and driven it away.

When the yacht returned, it was full of dents and nearly drained of its primordial energy; a little more damage and millions would have been lost.

"Uncle Ming, don't misunderstand, I'm not here to borrow a yacht today. I've brought you a business deal."

"Oh? You're bringing business to your uncle?" Li Ming looked at Liu Lanxin in surprise.

Typically, to him, she was nothing but a harbinger of disaster.

If she really could bring in business, he would laugh even in his sleep.

"Yes, this is Xia Liu, and he wants to buy a fishing boat." Knowing that Li Ming wouldn't believe her, Liu Lanxin quickly introduced Xia Liu.

"Hello, Boss Ming, I heard from Lanxin that you have fishing boats, so I'm thinking of buying one."

From Li Ming's face, Xia Liu could tell that he was quite afraid of Liu Lanxin.

Since she was still here, he had to give her so face.

"Hello, Boss Xia. Please, have a seat. What kind of fishing boat do you want? Just let

know."

Li Ming was montarily taken aback by Xia Liu's serious expression, but quickly responded.

"I need a fully equipped fishing boat that can start net fishing imdiately, one of average size will do."

"That's not a problem, I've got the nets all set up, you can just take it and start working."

Seeing that Xia Liu was seriously intent on buying, Li Ming earnestly started to explain.

"Uncle Ming, are you serious? It can start working imdiately?"

"Lanxin, your sister Shiyu is downstairs, why don't you go chat with her? She hasn't seen you in months, she probably barely recognizes you now."

Hearing Liu Lanxin say this, Li Ming's heart skipped a beat, fearing she would soon ask to borrow it for a few days.

"Ah, little sister Shiyu is here? I'll go play with her." Thinking of Li Ming's five-year-old daughter, Liu Lanxin rushed out of the office.

"Phew..." Find your adventure at empire

"Continue, Boss Ming," Xia Liu said, struggling to hide his amusent.

It was hard to understand what Liu Lanxin had done in the past, as not only the people from the pharmacy revered her, but even the yacht dealership's boss feared her.

"Talking on paper is no substitute for a hands-on demo, let's go check out the fishing boat."

Xia Liu agreed and followed Li Ming down to the fishing boat.

Just as Li Ming had said, the boat was fully equipped, although the nets varied in length.

There were nets of five hundred ters, and so of a thousand ters, with a few tens of thousands more in price.

"How much for this fishing boat?"

After getting the details, Xia Liu asked, pointing to the fishing boat on which they stood.

This boat, asuring forty-five ters, can carry several tons of sea fish.

That was enough for the current situation, but Xia Liu's vision was not limited to just that.

If later the fish in the waters of Osmanthus Village were depleted, each trip out to sea could yield tens or even hundreds of thousands in revenue.

Click, click, click...

Li Ming couldn't help feeling pleased; he had never encountered such a straightforward client like Xia Liu before.

"The original price of this fishing boat is 5.5 million, but since you were referred by Lan Xin, I'll accept 5 million."

"Good, let's happily decide on that."

Li Ming was even more delighted; the deal had been negotiated in just half an hour, and Xia Liu hadn't even haggled.

This was definitely the fastest deal he had ever made.

Excited, Li Ming took Xia Liu back to the store to pay by card.

"By the way, Boss Ming, do you know anyone who can operate a fishing boat?" Xia Liu asked after the purchase.

He could pilot the boat, but he definitely couldn't operate it by himself, given his lack of ti.

"Hmm? Soone to operate a fishing boat..."

Li Ming was shocked again by Xia Liu's words; it seed Xia Liu had co to buy the boat completely unprepared.

This was simply frightening.

If not for the 5 million in the account, he would have thought Xia Liu was joking.

"Coincidentally, I know soone with several years of experience, and she's definitely reliable, but she's currently not working due to family issues."

"I see, give

her contact information and address, I'll think of a way."

"Sure, her na is Liang Caiming. I'll write down the address for you."

Li Ming quickly wrote down the address.

After seeing the address, Xia Liu thanked Li Ming several tis. Liang Caiming lived in Binlai City, and if her family was having difficulties, he might be able to help.

"Just leave the boat here for now. Boss Ming, please fill up the tank, and I'll pay you when I co to pick it up."

"Hey, no need to ntion it, Boss Xia. Even if you hadn't said anything, I'd have filled up the tank. Just store the boat here, and you can co and take it whenever."

"I really appreciate that." After exchanging pleasantries, Xia Liu called Liu Lanxin.

A few minutes later, Liu Lanxin ca downstairs with a little girl in her arms.

From her joyful smile, it was clear she loved children; she even seed reluctant to leave them as she got into the car.

"I never would have guessed, Miss Liu likes children so much."

"Kids are so adorable, of course I like them. I definitely want to have two… no, three kids in the future!"

...

Xia Liu was at a loss for words; this girl dared to say anything. She was still just a kid herself and already thinking about having children.

"Did you get the boat?" Liu Lanxin realied her words may have been awkward and shifted the conversation away from those topics.

"Yes, I bought it. I have to go sowhere to take care of sothing else soon, so I'll take you ho now."

"Okay."

With that, Xia Liu drove to the Liu family's house.

Today, the Liu family was sowhat different from usual, as if a pall of gloom hung over it.

At that mont, in the conference room of the Liu family mansion, so prominent family mbers were present.

They occasionally bowed their heads to look at a young man and woman kneeling on the floor.

These two were none other than Liu Chen and his girlfriend.

After last night's incident ca to light, Liu Chen and his girlfriend had gone to see Liu Mang at the hospital.
