"You're all going to die!"
Chen Li had suddenly transford into a monster, standing four to five ters tall with bony spines and wings on her back, and dragon horns sprouting from her head. She resembled the legendary dragonfolk, ferocious beyond compare, exuding an imnse aura of oppression!

With a single stomp, the dragon-like creature Chen Li had beco made the ground crack and fissure. The surrounding people lost their footing, collapsing and staring in utter horror at the suddenly transford Chen Li!
"Monster! Monster! AAARGH!" Li Yan was instantly scared out of his wits, screaming as he scrambled away in utter humiliation. He was also holding a handgun, firing at Chen Li!

Li Yan frantically pulled the trigger, trying to kill the dragonfolk monster Chen Li had beco. But it was utterly useless. Chen Li rely had to deflect lightly with her bony claws to sweep the bullets aside!
There was no way to cause her any harm at all!
On the contrary, it enraged her!
"ROAR!"
Chen Li roared, her howl piercing the heavens. The invisible shockwave of her voice made those around feel like their heads would split open, their vision darkening as they nearly fainted!
Even so of the Lis who were close by bled from their ears, clutching their heads and rolling on the ground in agony, screaming continuously!
It was just like a true dragon roaring—terrifying to the extre, sothing ordinary people simply could not bear!
"Mom! Mommy!" Song Ningran scread. She too was covering her ears, yelling at Chen Li, "Mom! Are you alright?! Mom?!"
She was completely stunned. Utterly dumbfounded.
She never dread her own mother would transform into such a half-human, half-dragon creature—impervious to blades and bullets, possessing superhuman strength, and so terrifyingly inhuman!
How could this be?!
Chen Li, this... could it really be because of Dragon Mist Mountain? Song Hua Jun couldn't help but recall their encounter that day and Qin Heng's earlier words, his mind racing with speculation.
Could it be? Is there really sothing special in Dragon Mist Mountain? Did Chen Li get infected by sothing strange because she bled from that scraped knee? Her current state... Could there actually be dragons in Dragon Mist Mountain??

Just at that mont, the dense sound of gunfire erupted once more, as bullets rained down like a torrent, firing madly at Chen Li. The Lis launched a fierce assault!
They had been caught off guard by Chen Li's sudden mutation and roar, but now that they had regained their senses and put in earplugs, they quickly recovered their combat capability!
"Shoot! Shoot it hard! Kill this monstrous hag!" Li Yan, his face ashen and contorted with rage, roared furiously, grinding his teeth. He stared hatefully at the monster Chen Li had beco, his heart seething with extre rage.
Over the past two decades, this was the first ti he had been so disgraced in front of others, especially by having to crawl away. It was shaful; he had never experienced such a situation!
"Damn it! Damn it! All of you should die!" Li Yan stared fixedly at Chen Li, his hatred extending to Song Ningran and Song Hua Jun. In his eyes, they were the sole reason for his humiliation!
"Right! And that Qin Heng bastard, if I ever find you, I swear I'll cut you into a thousand pieces! No, a thousand pieces aren't enough, I'll grind you into at paste! If it weren't for you, you bastard, fighting with

Li Yan, by now, had sowhat lost his sanity. Enraged to the extre and feeling his dignity and authority utterly shattered, he was practically delirious!
"Third Young Master! What the hell is this monster?! Too tough! Her bones are too hard!"
"We can't hit her! We've emptied two magazines already!"
"AAARGH! She's coming! She's coming for us! Run! Run!"
The Lis suddenly scread in terror. They realized that while their bullets could slow Chen Li's movents, they couldn't inflict any damage at all!
Now, the half-human, half-dragon creature Chen Li had beco was charging at them!

The ground trembled ceaselessly, like an earthquake, striking terror into everyone nearby. The monstrous Chen Li moved with incredible speed. In less than a second, she rushed a Li family mber, raised her claws, and slamd them down fiercely!
SPLAT!
The fully ard man, over 1.8 ters tall, was instantly smashed into a bloody pulp by the monstrous Chen Li, losing all human form. Then, with a swipe of her other claw, she instantly tore another Li family mber—who was firing at her—to shreds!
Instantly, the thick stench of blood filled the courtyard, terrifying everyone. They stared at Chen Li in utter disbelief!
Horrifying! It was truly horrifying!
Just monts ago, this woman was an ordinary village woman. Why had she suddenly transford into such a powerful, terrifying monster? How could such a thing happen?!
This was outrageous!
"ROAR!"
At that mont, the half-human, half-dragon monster Chen Li had beco suddenly roared, her gaze locking onto a Li family mber, poised to attack again!
However, just as she took a step, she collapsed to the ground with a THUD. Her body began to convulse. The exposed bone spurs began to retract, sinking back into her flesh!
Her other mutated features were also regressing, reverting to human form. In just a few seconds, her body shrank from four or five ters tall to just over two ters!
"The monster's power has run out!"
"Hahaha! She's finished! Finished! Quick, shoot! Shoot! Kill her!"
"Damn it! So it was just a flash in the pan! Scared the hell out of !"
Seeing this, the Li family mbers all sighed in relief. They reloaded, aiming their guns at the devolving Chen Li!
Another three or four seconds passed!
Chen Li's mutated state completely vanished. She reverted to her human form—though her skin now seed smoother and younger—and lay on the ground, her face obscured.
"Kill her! Kill her now!" Li Yan roared in fury, pointing at Chen Li. "Turn this damned hag into a sieve! Shoot! Shoot her!"
"Yes!"
"Yes, yes!"
All the Li family mbers nodded, their guns aid at Chen Li!
"No!" Song Ningran scread in alarm, "Stop! You can't kill her! Stop!"
"I want more than just to kill her!" Li Yan, his expression crazed, threw his empty handgun at Song Ningran and roared madly, "After I'm done with you, I'll kill that bitch mother of yours too! Oh, and that little bastard you brought back—I'll kill him as well! HAHA! FIRE! FIRE!"
BANG! BANG! BANG!
A fierce, dense volley of gunfire erupted, once again targeting Chen Li. But this ti, without her mutated bone armor to protect her, she was rely flesh and blood!
Against such an intense, rain-like barrage of bullets, death was certain!
"No!" Song Ningran scread, her voice hoarse and strained. Ignoring the blood streaming down her forehead where Li Yan's gun had struck her, she tried to rush over and shield Chen Li!
No matter what, this was her own mother!
But just as she moved, she saw Song Hua Jun had already reached Chen Li's side. He threw his body in front of Chen Li, directly facing the rain of bullets!
"No! No, no!" Song Ningran cried out in despair, "Qin Heng!!!"
HUM!
At that exact mont, the void trembled. The surrounding colors distorted rapidly, and space itself twisted bizarrely, the fired bullets freezing in mid-air!
Then, space warped, colors faded, and a vortex materialized from thin air. Two figures stepped out from within!
It was Qin Heng, returned from Dragon Mist Mountain!
